It doesn't accept my valid booking number, no error, no nothing to indicate what's wrong. It also wants me to input my phone number multiple times on the same page but doesn't let me use the same number and it's required. Terrible design and there's no good reason to use the app outside of Lufthansa farming your data. It looks like their website has many of the same problems.

A total mess of an app. Airlines, especially European, cannot, seemingly, figure out apps and the internet. Cannot associate reservation with more than one email. Two different ways to login make sure there will be confusion and problems. Check in and check out an ordeal. Why can't they just use the same info for each as default? Could NOT, EVER, enter in Green Card info, kept asking for visa. How not to program an app, brought to you by Lufthansa. I would have given it a "0" if I could.

What an idiot design the passport data entry? I need to click through all the months 5 years forward to select the expiry year of my passport. Just make 3 fields, day, month, year! UPDATE: now the US visa fields are so bad that it is impossible to check in to USA. And don't say it is some kind of law - I can quickly check in to USA with Delta WITHOUT any problems. You lost a frequent flyer, well done!

Not the best interface. If any of the designers at Lufthansa are reading this, the Delta Airlines app is a pretty good one to model yours after. There's just too much on one page making it hard to really grasp everything I'm looking at. Also, too many steps to get to something I want to look at. For instance, there are three different buttons to view my seat. Again, the Delta airlines app just seems to have a better user interface. It's more simple and easier to understand. Just my suggestion.

This app is terrible compared to other airlines apps. If you switch to another app to look at something it crashes or resets. The document scanner does not work. If you try to check in for a party you have to manually add each passenger even if their in your reservation. And it does not save your document details if you have previously checked in for a reservation.

Unfortunately, this app is more or less useless-- it doesn't save any of my information which I want it to save, like my itineraries, ID info, etc. Every time I open the app to see my flight status or make a change, I have to re-enter all my information from the beginning. Every time it's like the first time. I recently tried to use their chat bot from within the app, but when you tap on chat it opens up the Play Store and prompts me to download FB messenger. Not convenient or acceptable.

Terrible, wrong data, unreliable, shows random data. If your flight is delayed it won't show in the app until way later. Then it will show the plane departed but that never happened. Then it will say correctly it is late. And then yet again show the original boarding time. The flight doesn't even leave the terminal and the app shows it has 1h to go in flight. Absolutely useless. Someone put in random code in the app which doesnt do anything. Plus it can cost you a lot if you rely on the app accu

Terrible app. Hard to use. Doesn't save booked flights properly. Doesn't help with travel requirements, especially important during the pandemic. Amazingly, Lufthansa still has not fixed my name in miles & more after 3 attempts and 2 assurances they "fixed" it in the last decade, so I can never save my bookings properly because the app freaks out when the last name doesn't match exactly. Couldn't they at least offer booking code + passport number? Ridiculously incompetent.

Overall great app. I did run into a few issues that could be fixed. When the app perceived that I may have missed my next flight due to the time frame of a delayed flight, it didn't load my boarding pass or flight info. A pop up just stated to speak to an attendant. If I had not retrieved paper copies / back up screen shots of the QR code/info, this could have caused a delay of my boarding. When adding layovers, partner with competitors to retrieve boarding info on flights booked by you.

Terrible. The mobile site is difficult and when traveling it makes it more stressful. Took me 1.5 hrs to check in for flight to San Francisco from europe with connection. Tickets purchased through Lufthasna, but flight operated by United, with a connection with a smaller airline. After many attempts to find the right words, help chat connected me to the right place. After successful check-in, we were delayed @ airport because info was missing (couldn't have checked in if it was missing).

I'd say not being able to check into my flight successfully at 6 in the morning is a 1 star.. please fix your UI - if someone checks "get boarding pass via email", maybe don't require a mobile # and then throw a continual error because you don't like my country code format, but give no tool tips (+1, 1, 01, 001, 0001 all failed, fyi) ... Without check in the app is pretty worthless to me, but thank you to your phone customer service center for being available so early to deal with the app!

I flew at least 25 times over the Atlantic to Germany with Lufthansa. I have a Miles & More account, Known Traveler Number, US passport, and STILL. the app is asking every single time when I check in for my M&M number, passport info, etc. A simple flight from LAX to SFO on Delta and everything is stored for the next trip. So useless. I remember that they let you scan your passport 5 or 6 years back, but now you have to enter every little thing manually. German engineering at it's finest.

Absolutely no function of this app, or their website version, actually works. Everything just takes forever to load, and then has some kind of error where they eventually ask you to contact customer service. Can't even pay for an upgrade successfully, it tells me to call their customer service number. Really the worst. The app doesn't even successfully log-in to my account! Truly embarrassing state for a company this big.

Not as intuitive as it may be, but works. COVID document upload was OK. Improvement examples include finding your boarding pass, which requires you to tap on the screen when the only obvious button is beneath - and that takes you elsewhere. Secondly, I understand the COVID requirements change but the app should immediately be updated upon a rule change - my experience was that the app was unclear.

This app is very difficult to use. It's laid out very confusingly and the prompts don't take you to expected results. My profile is at 56% complete with links to fix missing info but the links don't work. I've saved the same info over and over. The miles and more redirect doesn't work to set up and link a miles and more account. I have no idea where I am in the process of linking that account. It's very confusing.

Easily the worst airlines app. Slow, slow and did I say slow, incredibly slow. Integration with Google Pay is ... Well let's say does not integrate. Changing meal options always gives an error and calling their helpline is not very helpful. Pay some good software engineers and they will fix it for you - seriously there are smart people out there, Lufthansa!

New app, new issues, zero improvements. Actually going back to manual checking and physical boarding pass it developed over the last few days / weeks a nasty habit of taking MINUTES to show a previously generated boarding pass. It also appears to require internet connection for this operation. It is shocking how many problems, issues and downgrades have been implemented in this app. I cannot find ANYTHING that I like better. I have more clicks to get to what I want. There is more waiting time f

Difficult to use, poor UX. For example, when entering in a travel companion on the Personal Data section, I enter in the exact alphanumeric number for my companion's MileagePlus account. I am unable to save the information and there is a warning icon with no context next to the MileagePlus number. I can only imagine they've designed this field to accept only numeric values. Therefore, due to Lufthansa's design of this form, there is no way to properly input other frequent flyer program account details and it is absolutely unusable. This has been an ongoing problem with their apps - no concern for other programs.

I was unable to log into the app after setting up the app on my phone. Tried to reset password but never received the link in my email. Do not know how this app works. Online check in was just as bad, went through all of the steps and it said there was an error but it would not tell me were the error occurred. I went through the same steps several times. Had to check in at the airport.

One of the simplest features that should be an be editable thing isn't. I needed to fix the surname area and of course you can't do that and if that's wrong you can't upload your passport. Then you're directed to a customer line which is even worse! The customer service line has the audacity to then transfer me to air Canada smh. All I need was to change my name! The miles app won't even let me delete the account
