Two big problems: (1.) Rather than showing a slider over your screen so you can see what you're doing, it pointlessly covers everything (mostly to try to sell you the paid version)—and with a WHITE background. That's right! To dim your screen in low light, you must shine a flashlight in your face. What were they thinking? (2.) There's no Close button. You can disable dimming, but the app keeps running. (To show ads? Dunno.) You must open Settings > Apps and tap Force Stop. Sorry, but I'll pass!

I just found out about the extra dim feature on Samsung phones.. way better than this app lol. Not a bad app but the adds are getting longer and longer.

I sunk my mobile and now the brightness issue created that I can not adjust it properly thankyou to this app which helps me a lot ❤️❤️❤️ I gave 4 starts because notification bar can't be work with this brightness issue only screen can be adjusted..

I don't like how it goes from dark and then whenever I do something my screen turns really bright and then it goes back to normal it's really annoying i just want it to stay, however it keeps turning bright on it's own and I find it really annoying.

This app is excellent and works well. It allows me to reduce the brightness below the minimum, which helps me at night because the lowest brightness setting on my device is still too bright and hurts my eyes. However, this app has changed that. One issue with the app is the ads. While I understand that ads are necessary to maintain the app and that there is a paid version without ads, some of the ads are inappropriate and very loud.

Awesome tool, works great.Only issue is, it happens to work against some interfaces when active, mainly the Play Store's (buttons of User Agreement, PW & payment confirmation...). No problem, but it should be noted, as only SOME of these buttons warn u about the issue ("Another app is blocking access,turn off any apps that might be drawing over the screen & try again"), while others just won't click & say nothing, so u have no clue why they're not working unless u casually meet THOSE buttons.

I thought this app was extremely useful until it started playing ads with sound. I understand ads are your revenue and you are providing me a service (that for some reason isn't built into my phone already, but when i got sounds playing at full volume at night trying to go to bed I decided to delete it. Thank you for being great until then!

The lowest brightness on my phone is still pretty bright for night, so this helps. My only problem is I listen to music or white noise on my phone at night, which can be quiet, so I turn up my volume, and then I go to this app and get an ad for a game that's just machine gun sounds. It's the same ad every time. Having a machine gun blasting in my ears is not how I want to get ready for bed.

At first, with the free version, "Lower Brightness" did exactly what I wanted. My BLU smartphone's miximum dim wasn't enough not to bother my sleeping spouse late at night. This app and its clean interface corrected. So I bought the pro version. It works well except for a BIG BUT! After only just a few minutes, every time the app turns itself off. As if it was never engaged. A huge shock when the screen goes bright again! My spouse wakes up and complains.

App works as intended but causes interference with other apps/functions. The app dims the screen by overlaying a blue tint. This effectively neutralizes any 'blue light reduction' features that most people use at night. Since this app is intended to be used at night, it would've been better if it's dimming implementation didn't cause interference to other features also used at night

Its pretty good. My phone at its lowest is super bright and this definitely helped. The only thing I dont like is that each time my phone turns off the app does too. It bothers me a bit having to go turn it on quite a bit, but otherwise its pretty good. The ads aren't super annoying yet Edit: Its getting super annoying having to turn it on each time my phone turns off, im gonna find something else

So far all of the app I've tried downloading worked but they all have the same problem, it's turning the screen gray kinda. It no problem when you have it at 70%,the color is good. But when you get to 20% it turns gray. When I swipe up to see my notificatios the app is not drawn over it so it's brightness is still up and bright

Trying again on my new phone. Update: It works good. Thanks, my eyes get sensitive sometimes so this helps a lot. The pop up ads really shouldn't show when a person launches the app, having to wait for thrm to go away at 5am when I can barely see straight is too much. Consider only showing them after we've shut off the filter, please. If you are a ditz and turned it down to 0% (What did you expect? Zero means nothing!) Just hold down your phones power button to restart.

Works like a charm for the time being. I was looking for an app that lower the light of my phone, and not just the use of a filter. This one works very good for me since it dimmer the light itself beyond the phone's limit. Very good job. Also, I like very much, found awesome, and very helpful that you put this little bulb at the bottom of the screen to turn off the app in case the screen goes to dark to see it on sunlight. Good work. Two thumbs up.

so far this app works perfectly! HOWEVER, i find it extremely annoying that once you open it, an ad with the sound on automatically starts playing (WITH a white background). I think most people obviously use this app at night when they want their phone to be dark and silent. I understand needing to have ads, however I've seen other apps play ads with the volume automatically muted. Could this be implemented? Furthermore, the menu screen is also white. Please make it dark!

This definitely helps especially as someone who likes to watch videos to help me go to sleep. The adds are minimal, and the feature that allows you to adjust it is something i haven't seen on similar apps. Fair warning though; this app is so effective that you should take caution if you want to turn it to maximum darkness because you won't be able to see anything, including the features to turn it off.

It works very well - I upgraded to the pro version since it was cheap and my only complaints were addressed there :) Edit: if you're having issues with color (such as everything turning gray), it's an issue with your screen type. My phone has an OLED display and it works perfectly. A plain LCD display may get a little buggy, but that isn't the fault of this app
