Horrible and tragic that I cannot control the music player via bluetooth. No one can drive and switch songs by hand on their phone. I can't switch to the player to another bluetooth friendly music app. The only way is to use the microphone feature and play the better music app or USB. Also there is no way to play a Playlist. If you have a large music collection.. have fun scrolling from A-Z every time you want to switch to a song that starts with S.

I think that this app is quite nice, it's not the most high tech, but it does what is says it can do. It controls my LEDs just fine. The one problem I have, is that, the music downloaded from my phone can't be controlled by the app. In turn makeing it so the lights wont react to my music. It comes with its own music but its 5 songs for holidays. I want to listen to my music, without having it be out loud and have the lights react. If there is or is not a way too fix this, please let me know.

It's ok but.... Maybe I got a set that doesn't work right, maybe it's operator error. I get blue, yellow and white only. The timer sometimes works. Other remotes for different appliances will change the light settings, made me laugh. Wish I could use all the colors it's suppose to have. Remote works for on off and switching between the 3 colors that work. That's about it. Sorta disappointed in this one.

Missing seven color gradual change, and many other style color options. Also the need for location is annoying and fishy. There is no need for location. What i usually do is turn it on to connect it and once its connected i turn it off and it still functions. Mostly find myself using the physical controller because of this annoying feature. No one wants to have there location on at home.

The lights themselves are fine but the app is garbage. Slow, crashes alot, can't save presets, randomly turns off, the only music option is for downloaded files, and Bluetooth mandatory(good luck to your battery life), and I still haven't figured out how to just turn it off. If I didn't have to reset my settings everytime on start I wouldn't mind so bad, but for now this app is just barely usable. Not good, not even okay, just barely functional. For the money it's acceptable though.

It refuses to connect to bluetooth, continuously displaying the message, 'An app is needed to use this device' even if the app is installed. Managed to connect it once, wasn't able to again. When music synchronization is attempted, the lights just flash colors with no coordination. Then, you cant even leave the music or mic tab or else it stops.

Bought these to install under my child's loft. Connecting to the lights is odd, doesn't show up in my phone blue tooth list but will connect via the app. Most of the standard functions work but when in music mode the lights are just continually spazzing out in all colors with no way to control the speed. I did figure out that the brightness can be controlled by the manual mode screen though. The final straw was the location. No flipping way do they need to know my location!!

Terrible app. Crashes a LOT! This app is not user friendly! It should have programmable options. You should be able to make your own light patterns, and add your own music. We purchased 3 100 foot reels of lights for the exterior of our house, plan was to use them for all holidays, but we have to use the pre programmed choices which does not include a red, white, blue option! If the remote and/or app had good instructions that would help a lot!

From what I've had it is running okay but every once in a while the app won't connect to my lights or will not work anymore and I will either have to uninstall and reinstall or try and find an update. Overall, they could give more information about the app and what certain things do. It's very frustrating when it connects to other lights than the What I haven't set up for. The overall I think that they should fix Bluetooth connection.

This app is so frustrating. Everytime I try to connect it to my Bluetooth, it says that I need an app to make it work, even though I have it already. I can't even listen to music like I want to and the connection issues are frustrating as well. The lights themselves are fine, apart from the fact that I would like more settings, but that's just nitpicking. However, please fix this! l spent money on this and I would like for it to work. I hope you'll look into this in the next patch.

Absolutely terrible app. No matter how many times I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, it will not recognize my lights to be able to control them. I had the lights set to turn on at the time that I woke up in the morning and when the time went back an hour they would come on an hour before I get up and I can't freaking change it back. Worst app ever

So far ok. I read comments AFTER I had my accent lights ran...channels and all. So I panicked. I could not understand what the cord was for at the strip plugs if not for a phone to put in directly . So I hooked it up and held my breath . The app is working fine. I want mine to stay a purple....and it allowed me to find the perfect shade. I've not tried the music yet. But for my use and the fact that there are 200 ft of lights for 9.99 ...I'm happy. Nothing is free.

Good lights but the app is horrible. Not user friendly. Gives me an error message that says "suspected illegal device, contact the vendor" and won't connect to my lights. Feedback option doesn't work at all. Uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times already. Took the app off my phone completely. You're better off just using the remote that comes with the lights.

Worked for one day. Now it keeps dropping connection and reconnecting over and over on its own. I can't control the lights at all. This was the app in the instructions of my light strip I was told to download. I've tried reinstalling the app, un and re-pairing to BT, unplugging and re plug in the LEDs, you name it. THIS APP IS GARBAGE! If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

Worked the first day I installed the app on my phone. Now it doesn't work at all. It's glitches, and it constantly disconnects. One plus was the schedule of when the lights can turn on and off, but that only worked the first day, and now it's useless. The app is a cool feature to the lights, but only if major improvements are done to have it work.

I got the lights as an Easter present and then downloaded the app. I'd love to see more work go into the app, make it more responsive, have a way to have it sync to the music better but the one thing that needs to be fixed is the strobe function. If I set it to microphone, the disco lights turn the mic sensitivity all the way up that's an actual strobe, when I go to the "strobe settings" the fastest I can make the lights flash is about the speed of a turn signal. Please add more features

Connectivity, plain and simple. Doesn't pair with the lights, doesn't remember them, often takes upwards of 5 minutes to find them and won't connect readily to them or connects and then drops the comnection. This app is very frustrating and time consuming to use, it's also very counterintuitive in the way the device screen is laid out. It's like it was designed by someone who never used a Bluetooth device in their life.
