Not impressed. I thought this would be like the Lost Lands Series or the Darkness and Flame Series... it's not. Started out okay, but in no time it revealed its true colors... a pay to play monstrosity. Instead one set "reasonable" payment, you have to replenish items by buying more and more items (diamonds) to move forward, which in the end cost a ridiculous amount. I want to purchase the game, I want to play the game, solve the puzzles, hear the story and not be bled dry. Ruins the whole game.

Like others, I really enjoyed the adventure games. I tried to give this one a shot but found it not only confusing but buggy. I gave up when searching for items in the basement of the inn. Specifically, the clothespin. It is clearly visible but is unclickable as all efforts to snag it open the next 'room.' Buggy. I look forward to your next adventure game.

I love Five bn games, have played them all. I don't mind having to collect, for example, a set of keys, which you earn by playing hidden object mini games. However, so much time is wasted looking for the last item which I'm beginning to believe isn't even there, forcing you to repeatedly play a room over & over. Is this a glitch or intentional? Either way, it's frustrating & has ruined the fun of playing. I'll pass on this one & hope the next game improves upon this issue.

UPDATE: SENT AN EMAIL 3 DAYS AGO I'm very upset and getting ticked off. I have even purchased gems to try to get through ONE part with no luck. The "VAN" find object sequence is messed up. I cannot get the cabinet to light back up to find objects on the left! The last time I was in the van, the light would go out, and I could switch sides. Now the light stays on and is on the right. I cannot move it to the left to finish this sequence!!!!!!! I need the 8 gold coin and it ONLY is in the VAN!!

I love ALL Five-BN games & consider them the Rolls-Royce of adventure puzzle games. Then there's this monstrosity! I HATE THIS GAME! I play for a bit until the obnoxious over 'n over trips to the same 5 rooms searching for the same 15 hidden objects only to earn necessary items which I can't access ie keys. I've earned 60 keys but can't get even one to open any of my 6 still locked doors. WHY? Five-BN, you've got the best stories, graphics, puzzles & games out there! You keep doing that & hurry!

The story was great. But some of the game is just too much of a hands full. For example some of the games are really easy, while others are way too hard and takes too long, while the object searching game is way too much and becomes boring. Need to find a better balance for it. But I really like the story, it flows very well and was well written.

Way too many pixel hunt puzzles. So annoying. Not only that, but it seems the whole GAME is based around that. Plus, they're timed. It's one of the worst parts of 5 billion games, only on steroids. Their other games are infinitely better. Edit: Dropped it to 1 star because there's very little storyline and ever other second it's a mini game or 5... So annoying. They must have been drunk when they made this one. My memory doesn't function correctly anymore, so that made it even worse.

This is by far My least favorite game by 5-BN The necessity to play the same not all that fun mini games over and over and over again for randomized rewards that you only needed specific ones of as specific times was beyond frustrating not to mention that all of those less than fun mini games are on a time limit making them even less fun. I did finish the game because the story was interesting and engaging but overall this was nowhere near as enjoyable as their other games.

Not as good as other 5bn games. 5bn games are by far the best adventure games I've ever played. I'm always looking for new ones....this one was surprisingly disappointing. The same search rooms over and over and over again is beyond frustrating. It's needed too often, very annoying. The other changes are not great either. I've never been disappointed in a 5bn game before, please go back to what you've always done...don't fix what ain't broke.

I'm in LOVE with all Five BN games & have played them ALL. Lol Graphics & game play is beautiful as always, however I didn't care for the setup of this one. I didn't like having to go to the same locations over & over to get items to at search other locations. I like moving through the game & how all the other ones were setup was MUCH MUCH better. Some of the dialogue was a little goofy/worded weird & it seemed to jump around a little. Still a good game but this is my least favorite by far.

Loved this game. The amount of gameplay you get for it being free is insane! I get where some comments are coming from about replaying the same search and find locations. But there's so many other puzzles mixed in throughout the game that I honestly didn't mind that at all. The search and find parts are my least favorite to complete anyway, so I liked being able to memorize where items were and get through them quickly. I enjoyed the storyline and the plot twist was something I never suspected!

I loved this game. I played it through in less than a week without having to pay for anything. I don't mind the repetitive search scenes...the game is free...besides, once you memorize the locations you can usually complete it in under a minute. It's not confusing if you take time to read the script. It's a solid story that kept me intrigued and surprised me at multiple turns, especiallythe end. Graphics and colors are rich and I wish they'd make more in this series. Give this one a try.

Keep in mind mych of what I'm about to say is more to my personal tastes. While the mechanic of playing repeatable games has its appeal, it's not so fun to play REPETITIVE games. Playing the same hidden object scenes over and over was boring, as I find them maddening after a while. I disliked all the repeatable puzzles save for one, the laser game, and I'm very mixed about having a time limit to solve each puzzle to get bonus items. I didn't bother much with endless mode because of that.

I just finished the story, and as with all of 5BN games, the story was quite good. The puzzles that don't repeat are a great mix of challenge levels and most fit the flow of the game. However... The need to constantly go back and do the same puzzle types again and again is mind-numbing. I don't have the space to give my full thoughts, but by the end, I was only playing to complete the story. There was no longer any enjoyment.

A fantastic game. Clever, beautifully illustrated, with a good story and a delightful heroine. The environment changes in unexpected ways and useful items are not obvious - which adds to the fun! It is necessary to do hidden object games and certain puzzles many times over in order to advance, which can get tedious. However, weighing that against the truly challenging and clever story, there is no doubt - "Lost Chronicles" is a real treasure!

Quite good hidden item/puzzle game. Great cut scenes. Reasonable story and voice acting (voices quite good but the script must have been written by a non-native English speaker). Ignore that though and you'll have a nice time with this game. You can play repeatable levels to earn items which can be used to gain hints if your stuck or watch videos for gems which work too (videos to green ratio is pretty bad though).

I typically love all Five-BN games, but I don't get this one. I thought it was like the others, but it's not...now there's inventory? And a store? I can't figure out how to access things...can't find anything. Too many menus now. Wish they had kept it simple. It's the stories I liked the most and the puzzles...not so much searching for multiple of the same thing. All in all, frustrating and not fun for me. Very Disappointed.

Painful. Definitely not like any other Five BN game I have ever played. Way too many HOPs and repetitive puzzles. Almost boring but I finished it just to see how it ends. I ended spending more on this game than others because I couldn't find all the hidden objects or solve some of the puzzles and needed to pay for hints and skips. Some puzzles were easy and the HOPs got easier after you played them a dozen times. It ended up being a good, long story. Just don't make any more like this, PLEASE!!!

Not their strongest game. Clicking on things doesn't respond very well. I tapped on an item four different times and finally couldn't figure out what else it could be, so I used a hint and it showed me the EXACT THING I tapped on multiple times already and it didn't register. Just kind of meh after enjoying the Lost Lands series so much.

I love 5BN games... except this one. This game is set up completely different than the others. The graphics are beautiful as usual at the gate. Play it's frustrating and boring. I don't like just having to do the same hidden object locations over and over. it's really difficult to figure out what you're supposed to do or how to get it done. super frustrating and not fun at all. Their other games are great though.
