If only I can make battle and movement faster, but overall, this game is made with love and a lot of respect. Took a while to get an initial balance to absolute beat the first boss, but it definitely gets more interesting from there. You basically grind towards getting stronger, make things harder for better loot, build your base with the resources, and repeat. Weird combos from tiles keeps things spicy, though so far the rogue is my fav class!

One of the best games I've played in a while( Not exclusive to mobile ). The world building and lore is really in depth, and the gameplay mechanics are easy to grasp and ties into the storyline perfectly. I highly recommend buying the full version in the beginning, but after you finish the first act you'll more than less likely take the initiative on your own. I'm already hooked and honestly I don't got time to keep writing this review, I need to get back to the loop before it's all gone...

So far it's decent, but I have noticed a bug almost immediately, after skipping the tutorial, you come to a screen that has you build a camp fire... You get the card... But you can't place the camp fire, resources aren't depleted so you can make the same camp fire multiple times (only giving the same 1 card) I don't really want to play the tutorial again... But till it's fixed guess I have to.

Enjoyable, yet very flawed. The fact that you can go from easily beating enemies to them suddenly being unable to take damage from their health regen or evasion, is ridiculous. And the only reason combat has even become hard is due to the literal RANDOM targeting this game has. I've nearly killed a tough enemy, only for my guys to focus on someone else for no apparent reason, leaving the enemy's health to regen nearly fully. And many of the icons, items, buildings, etc have no description.

Great concept and lots of room to grow. Love the game but wish I could play it without squinting and being so careful with drag drop on small areas. Basically needs to fix the tiny fonts, not able to zoom in and out map, and make it more user friendly/comfortable GUI. It's so small that it's uncomfortable to play.

This is an amazing strategy game. I have it on pc, so I instantly picked it up when i saw it in the app store. I believe it's actually better on the mobile, a rarity for pc games. The runs are short, and the meta progression makes you want to play just one more time. While you don't directly control your character, the decisions you make are EXTREAMLY impactful to progression. There are many strategies to employ right off the bat, with your options getting exponential later on. A great game!

What is Loop Hero? Quite simply... a dungeon crawler + a deckbuilder + a resource management simulator. You go around a loop, fight enemies, get cards (that can be weapons, resources or map tiles), then you improve yourself and harden the world. But remember, don't rush. Take your time to be strategic and mindful of your surroundings. Cause trust me, with a beautiful art style, memorable music, and incredible gameplay, this is a game you'll want to play and buy... over and over again.

Played the PC version for around 40 hours. This is a good port with wonderful functionality and interface. Translates to mobile very well! Your goal is to slowly get your character stronger while making the map more challenging and difficult but not too quickly, less your hero die, and the loop resets. Good strategy game, and a solid time killer. Love the devs, give them your support if you want to encourage these kind of games!

I have played this game previously in Steam, and I have gotten all the trophies. In regards to the port to mobile, I haven't found any bugs. This game is an absolute masterpiece. The gameplay is addictive, the music is amazing, the art is extraordinary, and the progression is well done. I always thought while I was playing this game 2 years ago on Steam "this is game is really good, they should release it on mobile also" and here I'm 2 years after finally able to play it in my free time.

This is a fun pixel game. So it creates it's own little map, and as it describes, you go in loop. And each time you go in a circle the enemies get harder and your equipment that you can get is stronger. It seems boring as I describe it but it really is a good game, and it probably gets better because I've only played the free version of it I haven't paid for anything. You have to pay to unlock more stuff in the future of the game. I hope this game won't be very expensive because I do like it.

Incredibly addictive game! Wasn't expecting to be this fun! Minor complaints: when playing the card that lets you remove a specific tile, everything you move over becomes quite messy (visually). I wish there was a better way to display what resources are missing to upgrade your structures beside checking manually by swapping from inventory to the buildings. Queation: Is there a way to understand what to play to farm specific resources (drop tables anywhere)? Great game!

This game is great. I got it on steam a while back, but never got that deep into it because I always wanted to play bigger games on my PC. Now, here on mobile, this game really feels like it's at home. A fantastic port of an already fantastic game, and the full version is well worth the price of entry. Props to the devs for charging a low price up front instead of ruining the experience with ads.

I love this game, it's very addicting! Balancing my stats with risk/reward, continuing through harder loops, is fun and challenging. Base building is not too complex, however rewarding! Absolutely love the pixel art, map design, creatures. Last, but not lacking, the story keeps me glued to screen trying to unlock more stuff to figure out the puzzling lore! Don't be fooled by its simple design, this will keep you glued to your phone!

QUICK EDIT BELOW: Made this on mobile too?! Instant download. Played on PC, hours of fun. As long as you don't have ads..... jk yall gotta make money somehow and I'd even support an ad-free payment if need be, it's that good. 👍 👍 This is a trial version, but since I have played and know I like it, I bought it instantly. $6.29 on here, and I'm pretty sure it's like $10 on PC, so it is still a worth deal in my opinion. Thought I would mention that part.

I really didn't expect to like this game so much. I thought it was a puzzle game of sorts but it's more of a rouge-lite deck builder with auto combat and some city building elements. The free trial gives you a good idea of what the game is like and for a little over $6 you can unlock all content. No ads or an ocean of micro transactions. I'd 100% recommend giving the game a try, it's fantastic.

So much fun! I played this game a lot on computer and always wanted a portable version. The app works great, and is just as fun as the computer version. It's a very unique game, nicely balanced between requiring enough attention to be engaging without requiring so much attention that I can't play when I'm tired. Now I just need Four Quarters to do another pressing of the vinyl soundtrack and I'll be set

A little tight for the phone layout, and the game can be frustratingly obtuse in describing mechanics properly, leaving me guessing without any index to reference, but overall a very polished and solid experience. Gameplay loop is almost like a bell curve in terms of enjoyment; I think the peak of the game was towards the center as I grasped the mechanics, but early game and late game were a slog. Still recommend it though!

Fantastic game. It is so much fun, I haven't finished it but I can see myself playing this for a very long time. I am just asking with everything in me, please, please, please add more classes and keep expanding the game. It would be awesome to see a druid class, maybe a barbarian class. You could even make upgraded classes that require a previous class to obtain.

Can't seem to figure out how to save and Continue resets my progress. I tried going to the provided "guide" which glitched on an advertisement and altogether seemed sketchy. Selecting cards on the bottom of the screen sometimes exits the game on Android. Played this years ago on steam, not totally sure the kinks have been worked out but I'll hang tight.

Loop Hero is a almost perfect roguelike RPG. The story is intriguing and expeditions have a fun risk/reward system. But the main flaw starts to show after a dozen expeditions. Since the tiles used are limited and not randomized, placing tiles on the map becomes predictable. But player equipment and resources needed for progress are randomly generated. This makes some expeditions long and profitable but most end up being short and repetitive. TLDR: The game becomes a boring grind after a while.
