The app is useful only to lock and unlock doors, other than that when you set a timer for a lock it doesnt work. I dont know what random mode is, notifications are annoying, please include an option to only get notifications when your out of your home or at night when you are asleep. Expected a better app given that the locks are really expensive. Also the wifi hub is horrible, really hard to connect to. Somehow the signal isnt great and the hub is right next to the lock and my wifi router!

The app works well for the most part. You can lock or unlock your door from any location where you can connect to the internet. But sometimes there are updates that you're unaware of and then all of a sudden your device is not connected somehow where you can't lock or unlock from the app. But the app is still reading that your door is opening and closing and notifying you. But when you try to reconnect the device to the app using the barcode it doesn't seem to work. Always keep your barcode

For the app to work, you need to allow Lockly to access your phones sensitive data such as, manage phone calls, camera, location, microphone, storage. I repeat, without granting Lockly access to your very private data on your phone, you can't use the app, which means you can't use many of the locks features. If I can't access the app for the features on this $400 Vision lock then I am better off returning it and getting a cheaper brand lock that does the same and a separate camera.

The app is clunky and not very easy to use. It's difficult to connect to remotely. I would not buy lockly again if this is not fixed. Still dealing with the app not working and your customer service telling me to unplug and replug the hub. I spent entirely too much money for your locks that do not work. At this point, I would never recommend your locks to anyone.

I love most of the options & conveniences. But it has a slow response ui, and takes a considerable amount of time to sync Once the app is unlocked. I'm on my second Lock and operations take a similar amount of time, as well. Seems a lot of fluidity could be figured out in the app to hardware experience. Better 3rd party/Google smart integration and the ability to freeze a users access without deleting it would be great.

The app has issues in design and application. It's a great lock and the fingerprint access is fantastic, but the app is not intuitive or in the large part functional. I bought it for my mom's house where I have a smartphone and she doesn't. She has 3 tablets, only the newest would connect to the lock. I can get the doorbell ring, but my mom can't, either because it's not supported or because I am not familiar with iPod settings. The app is difficult to figure out and doesn't have enough options.

Update-after the latest firmware, all changes work. Great device. The app and device need a few changes. I would like to be able to turn off all sound at all times. When using the pro version, it should be able to detect that the door is open and not automatically lock. I've had a couple of instances when, as the door was closing on it's own, the lock automatically locked and the bolt damages my door frame. The auto lock feature should start it's countdown once the door is detected as closed.

The app, & the lock look very good, & I can connect the app to the lock. However where it seems to fail is with the wifi connection, or wifi hub that connects to it doesn't work. I tried it 25-30 times different ways, so exhausting, its garbage. The reason I bought this was so I can monitor, & control access remotely. Waste of time, & feel it's a rip off for them to have a feature that doesn't work in the real world. I have wifi cameras, & wifi thermostat, that don't have this problem.

The app is a total "meh." Does what it says it does, just not too gracefully. Lot of common themes: Synchronizes on startup before you can do anything, should be a background thing; seems slow to transmit; logs aren't always up to date even after syncing. I'll add it could use a web app to match it. The app lacks consistent contextual help and some of the settings are unclear. All around shrug on this. I use it because it's convenient, but it's in no way well thought out in it's design.

The app does what it's supposed to, but it could be more responsive and a little better designed. The account system takes a bit to understand for those wanting multiple admins. I've also noticed that there is a noticeable delay now in actual entry and the notifications to the point that if someone Were trying to break in, then they'd likely Be in or gone by the time I knew about it (if I wasn't near the door). The wifi bridge is really weak signal wise as well, so maybe that's the issue.

I LOVE the lock but the app needs some work. It's functional- most of the time. Some of the issues I am having recently include the app sometimes not loading the log. Slow load time for the app. This is critical when trying to figure out who is at my door when away. I get notifications but when I click on the notification it does nothing. I have to manually open the app and wait for it to load or refresh since it just displays a load screen. It does not allow for multiple main admins.

wont let me update new firmware... love the look and how it operates, but had a real hard time with the wifi hub on getting it to link to my phone. now that i finally got it to work the app in itself doesn't work all the time. it keeps telling me that its offline or "BLE timeout.... finally after some trial and error i found out that the wifi hub needed to be moved closer to the wifi/router.

This has been a terrible experience with Lockly so far. I've paid a lot of money to supposedly have the "best" lock and totally regret it. My Lockly Secure Pro beeps CONSTANTLY(every 3 minutes). I've put fresh batteries in so that's not the issue. I have not been able to get their customer service on the phone, however, they did respond to email but their troubleshooting tips still haven't worked. Avoid this lock until they fix their products.

App worked fine until about a week or two ago. Now I get nonstop notifications telling me my door is open when its not and secure mode is on, then secure mode is off, and low battery when the battery level is at 100%. Please fix these issue. My history log show the correct information so that part seems to be working. Not sure what's going on with these notifications.

Just purchased and installed. Overall I am pleased with the lock itself however the app is a poor complement to an otherwise decent piece of equipment. The app itself could use some refinement ASAP, especially with connectivity even when equipment is installed correctly with strong wifi in close proximity to equipment. Also, good luck with getting a hold of their customer service over the phone if you require any type of assistance.

Worked once, updated firmware and now doesn't connect to my phone. Bluetooth is buggy. App is buggy. Gatt exception error!? Idk what that means! Lock never factory resets because all fingerprints remain and codes work. Doesn't matter how many times I push the rest button. Language within the app has an error that says Remove App from phone but what it actually is is the remove this device from your account / phone app. Bluetooth has to be turned off and on for app to see lock each time!

It's impossible to actually answer a doorbell call. I'm running it on a Pixel 6a, have been for about 14 months now. Our wireless hub is directly wired into the router, and the building has fiber internet (about 450mps down and 200mps up on average). The hub is located on the wall directly behind the front door, 12 feet away. Answering calls from app notifications will fail 100% of the time, requiring me to instead load the Live View. Randomly doesn't record motion for a week at a time. Weird.

I have 3 Lockly locks. Vision, Secure Pro, and Flex Touch. Of the 3, the lock that I like the least is the Vision. The Vision is super SLOW to respond to someone ringing the doorbell and, even more annoying, it does not integrate with any smart screen, like all other smart doorbells, other than your phone. The app is cumbersome and clunky. Not intuitive as technology should be. After spending $1,000+ on these 3 locks I am disappointed and would NOT buy again.

The app is okay. If it saved your last input of wifi or Bluetooth and if there was a widget with a button to easily hit lock/unlock, it would be deserving of another star. I've had my deadbolt for about 3-4 years on 2 different houses. There have been accessibility issues in the past where the guest code wouldn't work. Somebody actually had to break in the back door because the lock wouldn't even work remotely, which caused me to lose money from that guest and I had pay to fix the door frame.

I've had Lockly Vision door lock for nearly 3 yrs. Lock had to be replaced last year since support was unable to fix lock & wi-fi comm issue. The new lock worked for 5 or 6 months & upon second battery change last week, the app & lock both exhibit random issues including zero app response. Support Staff seems to care less when you explain all this & follow scripted questions asking for screen shots of an unresponsive app. Sigh 😕 !!!!
