Could be 5 star rating, I have had linksys for years and has always worked awesome for me. I love the fact that I can set up schedules for different devices or block sites if needed. Something has definitely changed and hoping they get it fixed cause I'm having the same problem every time I try to use the app lately it says my router is offline but it isn't. Is it my router or the app? Would like to know cause it was working perfectly.

Want to give zero stars. App doesn't work - please take it off the PlayStore. Says "no internet" while all devices that are actually on the router WiFi are connected to the internet. I restarted the Linksys router and the modem numerous times, went through too many password resets per reset link: no fix. App states "no internet". Local PC access to router works just fine and proves that the Linksys router is connected and working .

**Update 3/18/2024, Rechecked the app, it appears it's working like it use to, noticed there was another update for the at 3/14/2024** This app must have just updated, well someone FUBAR'd this app can Barely log in on the app when connected to home Wi-Fi and can't even log in when not home(samsung galaxy s21 ultra). The app tells me the router is not connected to the internet, but it is and also broadcasting. just a waste of.time now, At least before the update the app worked enough to use it.

For some reason, linksys thought it would be a good idea to make it impossible to set up their router like every other router, through a browser interface. My laptop cannot install the app that is required. This is the most idiotic thing ever. If you're considering buying anything linksys, RUN AWAY!

App will load but is useless will not control anything. If you try to use it it just restarts. Deleted and reinstalled did nothing to fix guessing the software has a glitch and looking at other reviews it looks like it's not going to get fixed. Additionally if you try and log in via the internet it sends you back to the app download update still have the same issues and contacting support does nothing. No response no return email nothing.

Setting up linksys velop with the app is a nightmare. If anything breaks, good luck fixing it in less than 2 hours. I will never recommend or buy a linksys product again. What is this lazy excuse for an app. EDIT: Worst mesh in the world, never buy linksys, they are nightmare devices. What a POS device. OMG I hate linksys and will never ever buy anything from them again. Linksys, you suck. I hope you go bankrupt

The device list in the app or web-based interface is no longer accurate, showing devices that are connected as being offline. If I restart the network, the list is correct only immediately after the restart and is not correct the next time I open the app. This has only been a problem since the most recent app updates.

Linksys has again managed to take administrative software that was half-way decent and make it 3x more combersome and unintuitive. Good luck trying to get to the password management interface! You've just lost 50 of all your network customizations too. Your best bet is to download the dd-wrt firmware and upgrade it! Linksys should stick to making hardware and borrow some ideas from the open source firmware world to make their systems more enjoyable for all!

Recently, it's been slow and sometimes freezes up. When it's working, I can manage the network fine, but sometimes it takes a minute or two just to toggle parental controls. I really wish I could more easily use the app without an internet connection when on the local network. It would make it a lot easier to debug and fix the internet connection.

This is my last linksys item. There is no reason I should have to download an app on my phone to connect to a router on my computer. There is already an accessible interface accessible via IP and ethernet. Phone app is abysmal, crashes constantly, won't allow you to proceed with setup unless you agree to send them diagnostic info (had to restart the app no less than 10 times because the "Next" button stopped functioning if you uncheck Agree to send dianostic data.

App no longer allows you to manage external storage. Can only access it through the router. Since I'm at it.. You have no idea what devices are connecting to your network except for big name devices. At least put an incremental number so you can know what you're trying to block. It's bad, been using Linksys for probably 20 years (not exclusively). When this mesh network eventually stops working because of some update I'll be switching. It's apparent they have no desire to improve anything

After the recent time change, I figured I would reboot the router. I tried multiple times logging in through the app, and despite everything working ok on the network, the app tells me the router is offline and won't log me in, just as several others have posted. If you try logging in via 192.168.1.1, it won't recognize Firefox on your phone as a supported browser unless you're in desktop mode. Bottom line, the app has been rendered completely useless. Time to install DD-WRT.

A recent update seems to have broken the app. Now when you open the app, it tells you that the router has no Internet connection. But then if you run a router internet speed test in the app, it shows the connection is fine and running properly. But even after the test, the main summary page in the app still shows that there is allegedly no Internet connection. Using a Pixel 5a, Android 14, and EA8300 router. UPDATE: The March 18 app update has resolved the issue for me. Thanks Linksys!

I highly recommend this router! And the app is insane! It shows you everything that's connected to your Wi-Fi and even lets you pause internet access and block websites you wouldn't want anyone accessing. My only complaint is sometimes it doesn't know what exactly is connected. Such as it showed my Alexa as a smart phone and other things as network devices. However you can change the names and icons to what the device actually is when this happens.

App is trash. 90% of the time I open it and it says my router is offline despite the fact that everything is still connected and online. Takes numerous times opening to connect. Nodes show offline, while actively being used. Better off just using the web interface for network management, though it's not much better. Maybe it's not the app, but just poor equipment design. Tired of this app and the router. Done. 5/6 - Yep, still trash.

Loved my Linkys Velop mesh network from 3 years ago. Of course I get the old "end of life " email that I need to buy a new system. Ok. Got the Velop 6e Pro. Since then, app is glitchy, sometimes connects. Most of the time it says no internet and have to reopen the app 6 times before it finally loads. No updates available for app because I'm always checking for one with all of these glitches. Feels like you released hardware that's ahead of your app software.

Refuses to open, just shows an ad for Linksys new products. I've used the app to manage my mesh network for years, and it's been great. But they updated the app and now it's garbage. Nothing works on this "app" once I'm at this screen other than the ads to buy new Linksys products. Even the "troubleshooter" can't reboot my router. It says I should unplug it. It lies and says my mesh network has no Internet access while the network nodes are all blue and I'm watching TV on mesh network data.
