Practicing Speaking by having calls with other people is actually gonna help u soo much with ur speaking skills. Only texting and voice messages arent gonna help u. When u are talking on the phone u need to be creative and decide really fast choosing right phrases and words and actually use all the phrases u learned by watching movies and reading books :)

As a language teacher, I was quite curious about this app. The concept is awesome, but the UX needs a bit ironing out - not least of which the stability of the connection. Never have I ever experienced such bad connectivity. And it's not my internet or phone neither, because not a minute later I had a perfectly clear and long WhatsApp call. This app has great potential, once issues like these are sorted out.

I used to LOVE this app as it was fulfilling a great purpose and was offering an enjoyable linguistic experience. I went out of my way to recommend it to dozens of my friends and family and showed them how to use it. IT'S THE WORST NOW ! Lots of bugs (app shutting down in the middle of waiting calls) make it impossible to use. The worst of all is that 4 to 5 time, I had to purchase a streak protector because many days despite trying for hours to connect to a call, I never could. Pease FIX IT !

Lingbe has come a long way and there's still more to be done. As a certified TESOL teacher currently teaching in the app. I will encourage you all to give Lingbe a try, attend tutor rooms, talk to native English teachers, it's worth every penny. - English Verifications are active 👌 - Calls are better than before (mostly depends on the quality of your network) - Active tutor rooms - Active English Native speakers ready for you to talk with. See you on the inside 😃 🙂 Teacher JERRY.

I am a native English speaker and a qualified English teacher. It was the first time I did the native language verification. The person on the other end did not even let me start answering the question. They cut the call and failed me. There is no helpline, complaint, or query feature. I cannot do anything else on the app now. I am VERY DISSAPPOINTED. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP.

Getting invited to a friend's room is free (zero energy), but when exiting and re-entering the same room, 1 energy must be spent; it's counterintuitive in my opinion. I hope you can address this and still let us enter/re-enter rooms hosted by our friends for free—if possible.

So far, totally pants. It says it needs to verify that English is my native language by making a call to a verification tester, but I've called countless times and there's never any response. The user interface is not intuitive and it seemd like there's hardly anything you can do unless you go Pro, but so far it hasn't prived itself to be worth the money. There are much better language exchange apps out there, such as HiNative, Hello Talk and Speaky. I wouldn't waste your time with this one.

Fix your damn app!! How is it possible that I'd spend all of my 10 energies trying to connect with someone to talk, and the search would end without anyone to call, or someone would appear and it'd stuck on "we're connecting you" then it'd load forever and in both cases I'd end up losing my energies and never gets the chance to talk to anyone?? That of course is aside from the app keeps crashing and freezing all the time. WHY AREN'T YOU FIXING ALL OF THAT? WHY??

This app is actually pretty good. I like it very much, but it does have one issue that bothers me and complicates communication. It will often say that someone wants to practice one language, but when I answer, it actually is another they want to practice, sometimes not even having that language in their list at all.

Pros: The concept is great and the community is very friendly. Cons: The app has so many glitches that it's almost unusable. Calls take forever to connect, if at all. The app sometimes crashes when answering a call. When you do finally manage to get into a call, there's a good chance you won't be able to hear the other person or the call will disconnect by itself after a few minutes. And it's not just me, many people have complained within the app about the same issues.

Very interesting platform. Worth a try absolutely. But if you go in without an idea or topic to discuss already formulated you end up just doing awkward pleasantries in various languages . I offer the idea of developing a set of topics to start with? Or perhaps an area of developing context instead it just being a live translation app.

I've followed Lingbe since 2016, and it's come a long way. We're able to earn Lingos in multiple ways other than talking with learners through call, and I love the new chatroom feature they've implemented. There are still a few bugs, but I believe the Lingbe team will be working on those and improve the app as they have been these past 5 years.

This app is neat but different from other conversation language practice apps. This app lets you actually practice your language with another person which is good and has directional effort on its own that makes it competitive in that arena with other apps but, 1. It might take alot on how much you can use it without using up all your tokens(points) it wants you to use to operate features of the app. Overall, it's a good app with alot of potential.

It's a wonderful app for meeting new people and practicing your target language. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it costs too much to call native speakers even when you have purchased the PRO version. I believe that when you have signed up for PRO they should allow native calls to be free. Additionally, sometimes you are searching for a language partner to talk with and there is no one online.

This used to be a great app. I made a lot of friends who wanted to learn English and learned a lot of useful phrases in other languages. I hadn't used it for a couple years and just tried to use it again and found its pretty bad. No calls connect for people looking for help. It says "Someone needs help" but when you try to answer it the call disappears. Try offering a native call, and no users pop up. Exiting the app and reopening sometimes will have them show up. It needs some work

Iffy at best. It locks & freezes. When a call comes in, I get a splash screen that won't let me do anything other than restart the phone (Android running 8.1). Recording function does not work, something wrong with keyboard as it constantly selects letters I didn't press. Great idea, very very poorly implemented. Had to uninstall and reinstall. When the app is running, my phone gets too hot to hold - uses way too much processing & battery power. Will probably delete app.

It is a very good idea and the way it's carried out with the coin is also very good. However, the app will make it such that only one speaker on my phone works (I have two.) My phone then is significantly quieter and I've slept through some important alarms in the morning because of it. I enjoy your work, but please do what you can to patch this.

This app is pretty cool, but I've noticed that we often run out of energy for calls quickly, which can be frustrating. It would be awesome if there were ads we could watch to earn more energy. That way, we could keep using the app without worrying about running out. Overall, it's a great app with lots of potential, and I'm excited to see how it improves in the future!
