The fact that this is on my phone is amazing. The technology is so versatile. Please keep up the good work on the app. Update: overall experience is bad after using for an extended period of time. Will be canceling Adobe sub and finding a better third party soft. Seriously. Don't bother with Adobe.

Doesn't sync reliably on Android. I have Adobe Lightroom on my Mac, iPhone, and Pixel 7. Whenever I add pictures to Lightroom cloud, they'll eventually sync and show on all endpoints, except Android. Any new pictures won't show up unless I force quit and restart Lightroom, or clear Lightroom's app cache. Sync seems to work a lot better on iOS and macOS. Hopefully they can fix syncing on Android.

It's definitely handy when it comes to pre-edits and even most post edit applications. I definitely recommend app. Clean, run great. Had maybe almost 2 yrs. Never an issue, maybe as I'm a starving artist/photographer, my subscription might run out. Even then, basics gets the job done I need. Is there any chance LR might have a free 1-year subscription contest or giveaway? hint hint 😏

I can't do anything with the program. The menu I see has absolutely no editing features. I've reinstalled the program to no avail. I tried to contact Adobe tech support and couldn't even find an email or chat for them. I posted a 2 star rating on the play store about 2 months ago and now that's gone as well. I will not be renewing my subscription if tech support is this bad.

I used to love this app. Now, it crashes constantly. Sometimes, I can edit one picture before it crashes. Other times, it crashes once I've almost finished editing and loses all my edits. Update - since leaving this review, I've discovered that the crashes happen mostly when I'm trying to edit pictures that contain a large amount of empty sky. Being a wildlife photographer with an emphasis on birds, this makes the app pretty much useless to me. Adobe has been ZERO help in resolving this issue.

Crashes constantly. I've edited the same photo 3x and lost the edits because of the app crashing. Please improve the function of lightroom instead of making a bunch of new apps for content creators! I have tried all of the things you've suggested, but it doesn't help. Clearing cache helps temporarily. I can't clear my cache every 10 minutes when the app crashes. Picsart is a much more efficient app, hasn't crashed once. Way cheaper for a year of membership.

I like that I can copy my edits for certain photos within a group, so they all look relatively uniform, depending on your lighting taking them. Cropping is not a smooth experience and auto editing works some of the time, really depends on what it picks up, and you can adjust that by hand. Really liked the free edition, so purchased for more options, yet I don't really have the time to fiddle with them, so will probably return to the free edition. All in all, one of the better photo edit apps

8.5.2 was imo peak lightroom mobile organization. The menus were great and the album organization was great. Opened the app and it had been killed, forcing me to update even though I don't use cloud services, etc. The new toolbar is inferior to the old one: how? Because the bar at the bottom remains relatively useless, wasting useful space while the next menu bar stacks on top of it but eats into the relevant editing tool window. 1 menu bar with a larger more visible window is a better design.

Love the editing. I'm only reviewing, and pretty high at that, for one purpose: to ask why the editing video made are so low quality? I have edited some very high resolution images, but when I want to share my edit video the quality drops about 3x 😅 I can't share these on my socials at this level. Also, I wish more of the minor tweaking was made visible in the edit videos, but it seems to be more general

The app keeps crashing shortly after logging in. The problem began over a month ago. There's no particular 'action' because the app crashes right after logging in. I've tried all of the steps after reading through some of the other reviews. You have not offered any solution by replying the same copy and paste answer from everyone else's comments. I have a lot of image's I need to access. Fix it.

The process of actually editing my photos is more fun on this app using my Samsung tablet, and the user experience doesn't leave much to wish for. But i don't appreciate that syncing of photos into the cloud appears to be bullied onto me. Only one star because after spending many hours on editing a batch of photos on my tablet, I am suddenly forced to update the app, after which a new workflow without the need to import photos leaves me with all my edits lost. This is unacceptable. Shame on you!

4/14/24 Edit... the frequent crashing seems to have subsided and things this far are much more stable. Had 5 stars but something changed recently (within past week) and the app constantly crashes, many times before you can even get a quick edit and save in. I'll probably cancel my premium that I just recently started as I can't even use the basic features. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon and back to 5 star quality.

I miss being able to pick and choose what photos were on lightroom. Now we have to either choose an album or choose the whole camera roll. I dont want all of my pictures because it's harder to find the right one. Also, if i only pick a few pictures, then i can't add anymore without re-doing my settings. Can we please have back the option to pick and choose? Its kinda inconvient.

Overall I really love this program. The functionality on mobile devices is pretty good. Comparable to the desktop program. My only complaint is that the remove or heal feature doesn't work great on larger items items (in relation to the whole photo). I've mostly used the mobile app so this is more focused on that, but I have had similar issues in the desktop app as well.

I have used Lightroom for years, both on my phone and on the computer. I've tried other software, and apps, but none of the other apps come close to the editing power of Lightroom. The interface is simple, making the app very user friendly. The various, and numerous, tools provide unlimited editing techniques, styles, and possibilities. The cost is not bad either. I highly recommend.

The only thing buggier is the Mac app. Both have great potential and the cloud integration is awesome but the bugs are out of control, especially once you get quicker at using it, it crashes over and over and over, not even editing, just swiping through photos. If I could start over, I would not get into this ecosystem, especially if your time is money. The most recent update has caused the app to crash frequently while swiping through photos, sometimes only 3 photos and it quits.

It permanently deleted one of my photos from my phone WHILE I WAS EDITING IT! It wasn't sent to the garbage can, it literally disappeared from photoshop, my phone and the cloud. Maybe spend more time fixing bugs and making it user friendly and less time adding paywalls and advertisements! This used to be my go to app, streamlined and secure. It's pure trash now, not worth it for $ or for free.

I pay for this app, to have all my photos saved to the cloud and that's ok but for Gods sake it's been so hard to use it lately without crashing every time I try to edit a Pic and save it , it sends me back to a whole different photo or forces me to close. And when i try to go back to edit the photo I was editing, it hasn't saved the changes so it gets very very frustrating. Thinking about canceling my subscription

Lightroom is the industry standard, but Adobe doesn't support it's creators. They've expanded their offerings, but it all feels janky. Too much shoved in. And hard to navigate. They don't update their terminology with the times and have to have their own glossary, which steepens the learning curve. After getting subscriptioned to death, pushed into different services and tied to adobes stupid cloud storage, I'm done. Their terms of service allow them to perpetually licence anything you edit.

This app used to be somewhat useful to the average user - with or without a paid subscription. Without a subscription, you were still able to do basic edits of RAW photos, with the exception of some more advanced features like masking and things like that. However, after the most recent update, you are unable to do *any* of the most basic edits, and a paid subscription is REQUIRED to essentially use the application. This is another example of sheer corporate greed. Absolutely disgraceful.
