It gets one star just because it has good movies. It's missing 4 stars because the ads are absolutely ridiculous. I understand that it's a free app... Kinda.. I mean, I sign in with my cable provider that I pay for. However, there are 4-7 ads every 10 minutes. If you choose the 30 second interactive ad, which is a great and not so great option, you will get get shorter ads but even more frequently than every 10 minutes which is already OVERKILL. DO BETTER.

Very glitchy, crashes frequently. Shows are good, but not worth watching when I get repeat ads, sometimes for over ten minutes, lots of black screens, crashes and freezing. App doesn't remember where you left off and often opens completely different shows from the one you click on. At this point, it's a terrible app for a decent network. I detest Hulu, and even they do a better job on the app.

Frustrating to Use. The commercial screens don't always work. A "sorry" notice appears, then it won't continue and instead it goes back to the home screen when touched , which you then have to restart the show & then replays the missed commercial. This happens much too often. 2 or 3 times per 1 hour show. It would be much better if it would register the commercial has already been watched, or go back to the choice of 3 minutes of ads or 30 sec interactive ad screen without having to restart

The Lifetime app sucks!! You'll never get through a full movie or episode of anything. I just recently downloaded it, so I guess it's trying to play an ad or something. But, the screen goes black and you can't finish whatever you were watching. And don't even think about closing, restarting, uninstalling, reinstalling, or force stopping the app it won't work. Just watch Netflix or Amazon bc you definitely won't be able to finish your show or movie on the Lifetime app.

This is a great app. I connected with my TV provider and everything is great. The quality is bad sometimes, but that's fixed almost immediately. My main issue is the fact that there are 4-5 ad breaks with 5-6 ads per break per episode. That's ridiculous. I don't mind the number of ad breaks, but maybe reducing the number to 3 at the max would give a better rating.

It could be better... I wish this app were more up to date. I wish for mute button for ads/commercials. I get they are neccessary. They are just annoying because they are repetitive. I also wish it were more like other apps and give you the option on mobile apps to rewind or fast forward for 10 secs at a time (like YouTube). Trying to use the bar at the bottom to go back just a few seconds is annoying. My "huge fingers" even though I am just 5 ft tall, always overshoot one way or another.

Awful! When you rewind or fast forward it doesn't show pics to know where you are, and always resumes with a series of ads. The streaming will suddenly stop and throw you back to the main menu. It doesn't track the most recent episode watched to prompt point for resuming. The same ad will loop thru 3 or 4 times, and there's always three to six ads back to back of the same stuff over & over & over again. All this results in more time spent viewing ads than content.

Unless you create a profile, should you pause play, and then (for example) read a text, then come right back to the app, you have to find your show all over again. Quite frustrating! On the plus side, this app does allow you to fast forward and rewind in 10 second increments, unlike many other apps (TLC, ID, etc.)

Not a bad app if you want to watch 10+ minutes of commercials for one ~40 minute episode. Each time I load on, the app seems to forget where I left off on an episode, and--ironically--this happened after I created a profile, which is said to save your progress across all devices. It clearly can't save my progress on one device, what is there to expect with more? As a result, I'm stuck watching 5 more adds trying to figure out where I last left off. I get it's free, but come on.

I appreciate the app, but there is lots of room for improvement. The ads are annoying, especially when they play on repeat 2-3 times in a row, then the same ads play again the next break. Next, it glitches often and force-closes. Then after an episode ends, it automatically brings me back to the menu and I have to go search for the show again, manually. And lastly, I'd like to be able to minimize the screen and have to still keep playing.. you know, like Netflix does.

THE ADS TAKE FOREVER!! I don't mind that there are ads, I do mind that 90% of the breaks for the ads end up freezing on a black screen. This happened to me yesterday & it was like that for close to 20 minutes!! I actually was doing something else, & forgot that I was waiting for the show to resume. Even after all that, I STILL had to watch the damn ad!! Other than that I enjoy the app, & it's content. Please fix this.

The new episodes are on the app 1 or 2 days later and their are a lot of ads. Sometimes it is so blury I cant make out the characters. The app is also super slow at times. Other than that I love this app. I can watch old shows that ars not on the TV any longer. There are so many options. If they fix the few problems this app would be almost perfect.

I got this app to watch I Survived. Great, whatever, it works fine for the first day. Now suddenly like almost every commercial break it plays the same ad three times, then the screen freezes and even my phones back button doesn't work. Very annoying to have to watch a black screen and go back in and try to watch again to no avail since it just goes to another commercial break when I return.

I'm happy that there's an app so that I can watch a lot of my favorite shows and it's easy to use. But, there seems to be a lot of bugs in this one. I have several other network apps and they all work great. This one regularly freezes up. I either have to force close the app or it will force close itself. It also says "your content will resume soon" and can take anywhere from 1-5mins to start playing again. I hope they get the bugs fixed soon because I really enjoy watching it.

ADS. I understand having a few ads every now and then (it is free tv after all) but there are ads almost every 5 to 10 minutes. Also I thought it was really strange that they were the same ads on a loop, which got a little annoying. The app does also randomly stop, which no other app does with my phone. No matter where you are, it will be kind of laggy. Overall, it's an ok app. Once the ad issue is resolved, I will watch my favorite shows way more often.

So I think that it's fine. I have a few problems with the app. First, the ads, now I know that since it's free it's fine that there are some adds, but every 2 mins they have a long ad break and it is like over half the thing. I'm fine with some ads but this many is just so annoying. Also, when I am trying to either fast forward or rewind, it always has an error after clicking the button like 2-3 times. Some suggestions I have are to put how much time the ad break is. But I ran out of space peace

Horrible. I love lifetime but it's getting on my nerve. ALOT. It doesnt continue where I left off when I watch on diff devices OR on my TV. The ads are just stupid! 5 ADS. That is to many. It sometimes it literally takes 10 minutes to load the actually app [I kept track] so you needa fix this or your gonna loose costumers. But other then that, it's a good app and has lots of variety, and the only thing you have to do is sign into your tv provider to get everything. But please fix those bugs!!!!!

Worst streaming app ever! 1. The format in the pictures is not like the format in the app. They are similar but when I click on "Shows" it doesn't display the show I am watching, it displays shows I've never heard of! 2. The app never keeps my place in a show, if I have to stop and leave halfway, the app resets my watch time which makes me have to watch several more ads. 3. The same ads are played over and over which becomes annoying when I constantly have to adjust my placement in a show.

There are too many ads. I don't know whether or not the last update involved disabling the rewind button because now I can't even rewind anymore. I can't even press the bar, where you can skip parts of the episodes, to rewind (but I can use it to fast forward, tho). Just now, I found a new problem. If an episode is complete, I CAN'T WATCH IT AGAIN!!!! I pressed the 'play' button several times. NOTHING HAPPENED!!! Too many bugs exist after at one point, everything was PERFECT (excluding not being able to watch the locked episodes w/o logging in). This app has just become so frustrating. Oh yeah, & after a while of using the app, it buffers horrendously & the screen pixelates almost worse than a terrible camera a lot while the buffering happens, too.

This is absolutely the WORST app I've EVER used! I thought the Discovery+ app was bad. There are a gazillion commercials, it constantly freezes and I have to get out of the video altogether. When I do, it starts all the way from the beginning and I have to fast-forward a few times to figure out where I left off. In doing that, I get stuck watching 2-7 commercials AGAIN. It just takes forever to finish an episode. It's ridiculous.
