The Cololight is horrible. It does not find my Wifi to pair to, after it did at first. Now it's just another item to throw away in the trash. Seeing other people write their reviews, it has come to my attention that you are vulnerable to hackers leaving your device open and exposed. Also, Cololight is dependent on internet connection, so it's not recommended if you have weak internet. *I had to write a review here because Cololight app, created by the same company LifeSmart, Inc., will not allow me to write a review. Weird.

Easy to use, but could use some more features for handling a large number of devices in the same scene/trigger/ai and some more powerful editing tools for customization. A few improvement points: * Indicator lights on smart plugs resets to their original setting after a while. * Commands fail every now and then. Could be that I have over 50 devices. * Scheduled tasks don't retry enough when command doesn't go through. * Support for Google Assistant doesn't support all devices and features.

App does not work if connecting to WiFi outside the home because the app keeps trying to connect through the local network. App will only work if connecting through mobile data.

Won't allow access unless you allow the app to acess phone calls, camera, storage of photos/videos, and location. Too much personal info.

I have the lifesmart bulb, purchased for £1 brand new from a charity shop and have not been disappointed. Had the bulb for about 4-5 year now and still going strong. Never had any issues with the app or bulb. Daily, prolonged use.

Doesn't pair Cololight Pro with a message saying that my device does not support Bluetooth 4.0. Tried on 3 different devices, all of them actually supporting Bluetooth 4.0, but no luck.

Gazilion of permission requests. Basically a spy app disguised as a "smart" app. Not even working properly. Kept saying local device connected, but no data anywhere. Except maybe data that was stolen by the permission access.

Better than nothing, but more nuisance than help. Other platforms like Tuya is much more stable and faster responses operating on the same wifi network, even with more cameras in operation.

Advertisement in the Apps It is ridiculous to include ads in your apps. User who is using your apps already know about your products and we are paid user. If your products is free then it is fine. Moreover, installing smart device is to improve living lifestyle. Controlling the devices within seconds is what you always advertise in social media. And now you want us to wait 5 seconds before using your apps. Think about it, do you find it ridiculous?

Unfortunately can not give less than 1 star. Can not find LED strip in devices. What you have on your YouTube guide is an OLD version of app, which seems to be working. I bought your product and it is USELESS now. FIX IT!

Why does it need all types of access permission to my phone??? Mic, camera, location, storage and telephone. Very fishy. If I don't allow it does even let me use the app. I just use the lifesmart switch so why does it need storage access? Mic access? Telephone?!

Pairing Cololight is very unstable (with one light it sort of worked, but with second one, did not). I'm some places, translation is missing. Out of Asian smart home systems, TuyaSmart is much more reliable.

The app does what she have to do. I would wish in general more interfaces to other brands like xiaomi or better integration of some brands like newest Daikin aircon WiFi. But I can do my Smarthome and control it. I have around 30 devices not included the infrared controlled devices like TV, Aircon, Fan,...

like the devices, but still not sure how they work with Google Home App or Amazon Alexa App as the skills are linked but it says 0 device though I have more than 5 devices. please add support for IFTTT this is essential to home automation. Thanks to the Cape Town support team they are trying to assist but they are not the developers for the API.

I just recently purchased cololights and I cant get them to connect to the app. After I put it into pairing mode it blinks green than red and said configured wifi failed and I have connected to multiple wifi and one was 2.4ghz so I dont know if its really been the wifi. I have tried both the cololights and the life smart app and both have the same results. Are there any other trouble shootings suggestion you could suggest. I also have tried deleting and reinstalling the apps. please help

Cololight will not connect to wifi at all. I'm connected using the 2.4Ghz band and my SSID is not hidden. I have tons of smart home devices that also use 2.4Ghz wifi that all setup completely fine. However you spend over £100 on these things and they simply do not work. DO NOT BUY AND DO NOT INSTALL. Waste of time and money.

Really challenging to work with. The app doesn't allow for more than 14 frames in an animation, does not allow you to look for pre-built animations by number of tiles, doesn't have user generated content on the app and is generally a pain. A really good product let down by a half assed app.

It would be nice if there was actually integration with Google Home for commands from within Spot. The only thing that can be done is on/off the light. At least have some integration with IFTTT. Im kinda sure the developers arent going to look at nor bother regarding this review. Lifesmart support is literally non existant. Just trying my luck. Edit:1 star as nothing is worked on. IFTTT is important.
