The concept itself is great, but it becomes extremely hard and can be frustrating with the generation rate of time and loans, the "mini games" are also ungodly difficult and would be a great addition if not for the one and done aspect of them. As I said, the generation rate of time is frustrating as you can chain them, meaning u can skip stages in 1 move. Also, paying off loans is boarder impossible. Plus, the mini games are impossible if ur timing is bad, which it will be as they're quick time

I enjoy the game (I didn't do the update until recently). I really do. There's no but, I feel slightly better that my life isn't in the gutter like some of the endings when I play this game. I will say it is a little repetitive. There's not enough variety for how often you get poor parents and what endings you can get because I suck at the quick time events. But overall it does pull me out of funks and it feels like a puzzle game.

A bit addictive. I really enjoy it so far. The time between each portion is quite short, maybe more can be added to put in the chance of a longer life". Also, maybe a slightly different way to collect the loans when average/poor. Having 3 come even if 3 has been removed is sorta like wasting moves? Maybe pushing the destiny cards can not count as a move for the loans?

The game has a good concept and the mechanics are fun though it's a bit depressing. As intended it works good. I love the concept but. The major issue and reason for the lower star rating, is that for whatever reason past the tutorial, for some reason it automatically keeps trying to push me to install other apps at random.

Ive actually never written a review before but my experience with this game compelled me, and not in the good way. the mini games are almost impossible to accomplish. if you're not good at timing games you can't do much in this game. the main goal is to collect endings, with there being 3 tiers, you can't get level 3 endings without, 1 finding a secret one, or winning one of the timing games. I know the game is trying to say something about life but it comes at the expense of the game being fun.

gets its point across - life sucks and it's infinitely depressing - but even if it's addictive, it's not fun, just sad. you keep playing because you wanna succeed just once, but the margin of success is so low because the "minigame" that decides whether you make it is nearly impossible. if you're even a millimetre off you lose, and it's disheartening. make the slots just a little bit wider and give us a chance. also, not everyone who succeeds in life goes to college, so stop putting us in debt.

This is a really good game for the most part. I like how many different endings there are to achieve, but some are more frequently present than others. I would love if you could be either a boy or a girl. I also don't like how if you reach the max points for yellow blocks, the game ends with whatever yellow block ending you have. Overall a fun game to play and very addicting, not alot of ads present as well which is nice.

It's a really good concept for a life game and gets its point across fairly well. Love the art too. What's really disappointing is how hard it is (saying that life is hard) but it's too hard. You can barely pass at becoming anything, the things you randomly like is 100% based on luck, and the fact that you can never get out of debt is sad (or not that I have gotten out of the debt in the game yet) it's harder to get 2 level ending than getting a hidden ending. Make it the game easier please.

Definitely a great game, it conveys the desperation of life very well. There are a few things I would add, unless I just haven't seen them yet: option of growing up with a deformity of some kind, getting terminally ill, addiction, chance of being murdered, etc. I think it would also be cool if there were some chances that you grow into a female rather than just a male. Just some ideas, the artwork is fantastic for the style of game.

I really like the 3 match puzzle aspects of it all. However, I really hate how every time I get enough points for an ending, the timing on the mini game is so precise and unfair. It feels like luck if I get one of the red or blue endings. I haven't got either one of them once. If they fix this, the game would be way more enjoyable.

Wait, the update says the mini games used to be HARDER?! They're still pretty hard. But I think it's fitting, so don't take that as a negative thing! This game is pretty challenging. And there is a decent amount of luck involved, mostly just involving what blocks you end up with, but especially if you want to find all the yellow block endings (that mini game is actually all luck as far as I can tell). But it all seems pretty fair and it DEFINITELY fits the theme

I want to give this 5 stars, but the "stop-in-time" mini game is still so unforgiving and a bit buggy at times that it's annoying and time-waste. The catch is that the speed increases as you approach the ends rather than staying consistent throughout. It also doesn't matter if you're within the "goal" outline; the game does not tell you honestly how much you need to fill it to be considered for a win. It's also annoyingly buggy, since it'll consider a "tap" without me pressing the screen at all.

Very fun experience, but certainly has some bugs. The art is pretty lovely, and I love the gallery. Not really many forced ads, if any, and it's an easy to understand game that is hard to master. The main bug that occurs is fairly major, but due to the rouge-like nature of the game, it is passable. On rare occasions, the game will stop working when a tile is moved while other tiles are moving. Runs are fairly short anyway, so you lose very little. Still, I definitely recommend trying the game!

Neat idea, I get that's it's a bit frustrating by design in order to make a point, but mini games claiming to be about timing can't have random amounts of input lag. Either make them clearly games of chance or make sure inputs are precisely respected. Edit- recently have had some games break, giving a "what you're good at" on the first blue blocks broken and failing to show the progress bar for that color at all. Giving up and starting a new game fixes this.

This game sucks. It won't even let me swipe on the blocks anymore! And it's not my device cause I can click other things such as the home button. It also constantly finds a way to age you up! Like I understand it's hard but it doesn't even give you time to build up skills! Specially if it gives you poor parents which it does a majority of the time!

I almost never feel the need to write a review, but my frustration with this game compelled me. This game is more irriating than fun, and the mini games to get good endings require such incredible precision that you will almost never see them. I've played games with precision QTEs like Dead by Daylight, and none of them have been as needlessly difficult as these ones. Even more baffling is that the patch notes say they made the game easier, but I just do not see it. Rewards not worth the effort.

This game is super cute and a simple game where you connect blocks. It has cards you can get for achieving certain endings and is super easy to use. Though the concept is simple, it can be a bit harder to understand for little kids. Though I'm sure they can play it with a little bit of practice, they might not have as much fun. I'd recommend this game for ages 8+ simply because kids who are younger are very unlikely to enjoy it. Love the game, though!

I am happy about the 5 minute timer on the clovers instead of the earlier 15 when the game launched, so worth the money! As I've played for a while now I've realized there's not that many endings and the main dreams you get from the small handful are gaming, cooking, studying, or art. Even the random ones are few. Youtube, pets, and friends. It just feels like it lacks so much content after you get most endings.

Personally, I liked it, but I did catch a bug that needs to be resolved. When the character had to give up something for a loan, I gave up the blue blocks (what equals what he was good at), but he had not gotten good at anything. When the loan was paid off, the game kept replaying the "All loans paid off, you are moving towards your dreams again" and would not stop. Had to completely give up the character to resolve it.

Fun little game! I found the game got easier over time but I'm not sure if it was caused by me getting the no ads upgrade or more endings. I wish there were some hints on how to get remaining endings once you've hit a certain point in the game. I ended up dropping it because I don't have the patience to 100% anymore, but the core gameplay loop is novel and fun.
