I would really appreciate if there were all the elements from the lichess website for example playing unrated puzzles! UI looks way better I can't wait for it to get better!

Though it is in beta, it is still almost perfect for me. I miss the ability to control the volume, though. I wish it is considered for the development. Thanks for making it better at every release.

I was very excited that the app had been redeveloped, but this is not the right direction at all. To join a pre-made game, you have to click, "create a game -> custom -> join a game," which makes no sense. I want the join game option to be the main page instead of recent games.

I really like lichess but the new design approach for this beta makes me sad i hope that it will be changed to feel more like the old design. Im sure behind the curtains everything is way better than before but it just feels very very weird from the get go.

hello lichess team, i am glad for the new and improved application. i just started chess and lichess has been my favorite website/app for learning and improving. i strongly believe that knowledge should be accessible to everyone and i am forever grateful for the organization and volunteers for making that happen. some suggestions for the next update - offline bot with rating slider - offline coordinate practice - board editor the app is amazing but lacks offline play

the first impression was magnificent I really liked the new design but after trying it for a while I noticed some issues like I couldn't send my friend a match request also I couldn't see my friend list or follow them while playing Don't get me wrong it still good but need some improvement and overall thank for the effort..

I think the former version of lichess is more professional and more user friendly, it is more simple and at the same time fun, everything are collected, and you don't have to search for instance lichess tv, on the other hand the analysis board is better in former version, in this one it shows blunder but doesn't show the reasons and moves, I think change is good but replacement isn't, the only thing that I want in former version is to show the accuracy in game analysis section.

Seems to work as well as the non-beta. I know this is a niche problem, but I watch YouTube in a little window on the top right while playing chess all the time. The old version made this easy with both playing and analysis. However the new version puts analysis lines above the board, making this arrangement not as nice.

This app is crazily good than the other lichess app. I love the UI. Its clean and quick. The play mode is easy to access. The players profile is soo beautifully crafted. I wonder if you can add the tournament features. And also a way to watch the live chess tournament right in the app itself. Thank you.

Buggy and unintuitive compared to original app. Please bring back the simple grid for selecting time formats. When opening a notification for a correspondence game, the game does not show the latest move. I have to manually go home and reload the game to get it to update. The analysis board does not work in correspondence games.

The new look looks amazing. the clock and analysis board is put in tools which are commonly used in offline mode. puzzles page is I think the highlight of the app. finally all the puzzle modes are back on android. Home page kind of reminds me of chesscom but cool. The settings panel is quick. yeah

The UI is definitely a big up! Love how well arranged the new features are. The homepage needs to be more aesthetically pleasing! For some reason, playing bullet is not as snapy as on the official app, it's a tad too laggy, hopefully the final product will not come with this glitch! All in all, I love lichess services, big fan📍🧢!

It is amazing that lichess is providing so many features totally free of cost. Puzzle by themes is a big plus point. Game review is almost similar to chesscom (which is a paid service). A few requests- 1. Please provide opening explorer feature in this app, that will be super helpful. 2. Please provide broadcast feature on the app itself. 3. Can you please add move notations in the analysis tab, like good move, best move, inaccuracy, that will be very helpful too.

UI is clean. Also I love how it's offline(in the main app, it's not offline in the sense that once the data connection goes off, the app can't connect to the lichess server). I can now analyse my games with an engine offline. Much appreciated for that. Please keep it. Suggestions to improve it: A Sort and search through games feature like you have in the main app. Kindly include the option to search games via openings to make it more accessible. All features in the current main app. Thanks

Works really well, the game analysis is more useful and user friendly. If I had one suggestion it would be to differentiate the arrows showing the best moves and the actual move, because it can be a touch confusing when they look the same. Also maybe some different stats or quick game options on the home screen, but that is only a concern when I'm on a losing streak ;)

I adore lichess, and I think it is the best chess platform on the planet by far. This app is in beta so obviously some features are missing, I would say that the most important ones that I would love to see are: The ability to select a piece of mine while it's the opponent's move, in puzzles, games, etc. And the quick play menu, I pressed the "create game" button for too long and it started a game, I would say that's a bit strange to use, I liked the old menu better but it might grow on me.

Good for offline. One thing I would like for them to add is being able to change magnified pieces when dragging them and also being able to change board theme brightness like on the browser/ mobile browser version. Honestly, I'd prefer using the browser mobile version (mainly because I'm used to it), but otherwise, for an app, I find this to be pretty good.
