The proprietary Right Track feature of the app is built to prevent you from scoring over a certain total. Without fail, on three seperate occassions, when my score went one point above a certain number, the app would indicate a "rapid acceleration event" on a road near my home that is a 25mph zone while decelerating to a stop sign. Same exact spot, three seperate times. Talk to a rep and they'll tell you they can't remove the event (the app isn't faulty). Unfortunately, you have to use it.

it has several issues that need to be addressed, the place where you upload the pictures for a claim does not work "Network Issue" although you are connected to a powerful wi-fi and the permissions of the app are set properly, to open the estimates is a nightmare too, it downloads an empty jpg along with the right PDF file. Besides, you can go up to 5 stars by solving these issues.

This app makes it convenient to pay your bills and view your coverages. However, I am a bit upset that when you don't use autopay, the bill comes out to be about $40 more, but when you want to pay ahead, it says that it will still bill you on the next autopay date anyway. Another tactic from a company to take more money from poor people instead of the people who actually have money.

The app works well enough overall but there's an issue with resetting passwords in which the app rejects SSNs, regardless of whether or not they are correct. A minor issue to most, but if you're like me and forget passwords a lot then prepare to wait in the 45 minute customer service queues every time you need to reset your password. Still, the app is worth having if they are your provider. I just wish they would fix the issues that it has had since I opened my policy months ago.

Won't log in. I know my user log in and password. I logged in online to double-check this. I've tried MULTIPLE times entering both my user name/ password, AND my email/ password combos, triple-checked my password entry, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and I still get a "log in failed" error. Sure I can use my browser to log in from my phone, but then what is the point of the (disfunctional) app?! Why not switch back to Progressive whose app is flawless?! I hope I never have to file a claim.

Right track scoring is flawed. It fails to account for hard breakings that are totally out of your control and absolutely necessary. For example Someone running a stop sign, ball rolling in front of the car (usually followed by a child), someone cutting you off (lane change), etc. Rapid acceleration is also warranted at times such as merges in the highway. Also I was penalized once being a passenger where I had no control over the driver's driving habit.

No details of coverages in app. App is not made for both couples to log in and view the ID cards. RightTrack runs when you arent driving. RightTrack is not accurate, from time of day driving (which costs more) to breaking events. Ok, are you training me to slowly hit a pedestrian when they run in front of my car instead of stopping? There wasn't hard breaking during drive, whatsoever, and it adds it to your drive. How can I be punished for preventing an accident?? Don't use RightTrack

I'm only putting one star because you need to fix the bug. Everytime I open the app, it says in order to continue with the app, I have to get it updated. But it's already been updated & there's no option to update it. I've tried turning my phone off & back on again & it's still doing it, I've tried uninstalling the app & then reinstalling it & it's still doing it! Until it's fixed, I'm only giving one star. That's just to, hopefully, catch your attention!

Absolutely horrible customer service, extremely expensive insurance, if you make any changes even with contacting them, they'll add hundreds of dollars without notice. I called to notify a financial issue and they added $400 dollars to my monthly bill as well as absolutely rude customer service when I tried to figure out how they could just do that. Buyer beware!

This app is a huge pain in the butt. Just to save $47.00?? That's all!! 90 days of having to have my phone battery settings on highest possible, otherwise it won't record your trip. Uses all of your battery and then won't record due to your dead battery. Terrible technology. I've spent the last 90 days with a constantly dead phone. One, count them 1 hard breaking takes you from excellent to fair. It doesn't matter if the occurrence was your fault or not. Hated every minute of this app.

The fingerprint log in has never worked, which is annoying, but tolerable. Now, once you log in, then try to navigate through the app, a screen comes up and says that your session has expired, please log in again. So you do, and try to go forward to that next screen, and the same page comes up, to log back in, which makes the entire app non-functional. No access to billing, insurance cards, anything. Fix these ridiculous glitches!

The app worked great at first, but then stopped tracking my trips all of a sudden. I tried to contact customer support, but couldn't find answers or a number to call. I tried emailing. No way to get in touch. I followed the directions from the FAQ, to uninstall and reinstall. This is concerning. I'd heard great things about working with Liberty Mutual, and had a good experience with getting set up, but I hope their customer service doesn't fall away once people are actually a part of it.

Unrealistic expectation of real world driving conditions. When you're about to enter freeway from a stopped position, you have to take advantage of any opening gap in cars. Hence the "sudden acceleration". It's not even going 0-60 in 2 sec. You just have to go enough so the next car won't hit you in the back. After more than a month of excellent driving I'm getting frequent fair trips. My driving didn't change. Once you get your first fair, the app just suddenly get more sensitive, or stricter.

Once upon a time this app was decent. Not anymore. Everytime I try to edit vehicles, I get to the last step and it says "sorry, it's not you it's us" and doesn't work to complete the process. Try calling them and the automated system trust everything it can to direct you back to the app(that continually doesn't work) instead of giving you customer service. Very frustrating. They are, however, extremely great priced. Just need to work on the app some more if they really want it to be used.

App says that changing my coverage isn't supported and will be added "soon." I set my coverage online in the first place, now I can't modify it? All I wanted to do was switch over minimal coverage from one vehicle to another. Both older vehicles, both rather inexpensive. So I had to do it over the phone and my rate somehow doubled. What a joke. Thought they might've not taken off the first vehicle, but they did. One policy for the price of two! Gotta love it.

The app is actually good. This one star rating is only about the RightTrack portion of it. First it does not show the maps even after I've reinstalled it with using an activation fee. Just a regular software bug. But the main issue is how it rates my performance: if a 10 miles trip has one imperfection in my driving - the whole trip and the perfect performance in the rest of itdoes not counting. And the so called "hard breaking" event can be a mere slowing down on the way from the parking lot.

Haven been using this app for almost a year. It was working well until the last 2 months!! Every time I try to view my billing it tells me "due to security purposes and lack of activity in 20 mins you've been logged off" I can't pay my bill or make any changes. It doesn't work on the website either, I've tried to address this issue over the phone and was told it would resolve itself and it hasn't!! It's getting annoying and frustrating!!!

When I first started using the right track app, it was going great. Now, I'm kind of confused when it detects hard braking or rapid acceleration. It drops the savings amount a lot; when it detects the excellent driving, the savings amount either stays the same or increases by $1 or $2. 2/17/22 savings amount still haven't changed after my excellent driving also, when I'm not in a moving vehicle it say currently recording trip. They need to fix the bugs with this right track app.

Nothing in this app ever works. Constantly have to close and reopen or refresh to even try to get to the next screen. The process repeats if you try to view any details or policy information. Unrelated to the app, even their website has the same issues. Liberty Mutual as a company is great, and I have no complaints.. but they need to seriously need to fix their technology issues.

I really hated the plug-in car tracker I had from my last insurance company, but this is significantly worse. It drains my battery because it's tracking me all day, and if I turn on battery optimization the only way to restore permissions is to delete and re-download the app. And not even passengers can use my phone to control the music when I'm driving because that's still considered distracted driving. Wildly stupid. Can't wait for my 90 days to be over.
