Have to Uninstall & Re- install DAILY. Purchased the premium option for a better user experience - I was wrong. Clicking on anything in the apps (Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu etc) does NOT work. Can't rewind, pause nothing unless you Uninstall the whole app and install it again. Then the tools work correctly for 1 movie or show. The next show or movie; you have to go through the whole uninstall process again. The volume, channel and power on/off button don't usually have issues.

Trackpad segment does not work. Nothing happens when I swype. However sending the text feature is amazing. Very unique 👌 in no time I could type in the url on a web browser. TV Navigation section is disappointing for cursor on web browser For eg, the cursor takes for ever to move from one part of the screen to the other. I had to tap again and again to move the cursor for web browser. I wish I could hold the button to move the cursor. Good work but not enough to buy the app.

Atrocious app, basically ad bait to make revenue off of you. About every 5 button presses an ad plays. The track pad feature is also bad as it is a point by point move where it you are able to truly free roam the mouse but it moves pixel by pixel so many times you cannot get your cursor to rest at the point where you want to click.

Hate it! This app is littered with ads that pop up while using & cause unintentional clicks to the advertiser. It's beyond me why the manufacturer (LG) can't provide a single app solution that works within their ecosystem of connected products. I use this app ONLY as a last resort.. I'd rate it less than one star if it was possible.

Actually, a very neat app, thoughtfully designed, and what it can do, it does well. I did get a lifetime premium version, so can't comment on the the ads, however I do have a big gripe with the app: it can only see hdmi, it doesn't see usb at all. I have several drives connected via usb with terabytes upon terabytes of video, and with this remote, I can't play any of it. Shame, good solid app, handles the basic cable and streaming services very well, but no usb is the reason for only 3 stars

The app doesn't completely work. Only half the buttons that work on the remote work in the app. And the ads make the app unusable - there are full-screen video ads that completely block the app, either on a timer or after so many clicks. An app like this should be unobtrusive ads only that don't block the screen at all. Useless and uninstalled.

UPDATE: After using this app, you do need to pay if you plan on using it instead of a remote. The ads do interfere with its functioning. This is, by far, the best remote app for my 2023 LG C3 TV. I have tried a few others and they were all worthless until this app. I haven't found a button or instance when it didn't work, and that's using the free version. However, this developer deserves to be paid, and considering what it does, he isn't asking much.

meh -there's quite a bit of ads and the connection is kind of spotty but if you're desperate and you don't have the original remote this app definitely comes in handy it's just kind of wonky and unreliable. you never know when it's going to connect & work well and is really no rhyme or reason as to why it will or won't connect to work properly at times. good luck! 😂🤞 M

I bought it when it was much cheaper and love how it pretty much always works. It'd be nice if I could reorder the apps and customize the colors since some of the apps have branding and other are plain it lacks consistency. I wouldn't say it's worth $30, but that price isn't significantly different from what a physical remote would cost either.

There are ads if you press buttons after like maybe 10 presses... So if there are ads, why offer upgraded version to use certain features. (And pricey at that!) Just open all the features on the app and continue to show ads. Other than that. I like the app for turning off the TV from another room or muting it if I need to tell the kids times up for tv time.

Just downloaded the app because we lost the remote while moving. So far it's easier to use than the remote. Hope the ads don't become too invasive. I understand the need for ads in order to have the use for free, but some ads don't give you the option to skip and ad appears when you're changing chanel...so you have to wait...but a bad app

Only remote that actually 100% works. Can't rate higher than 3 stars because of the paid version cost. $16.99 annual subscription or $28.99 one time. Free version disables all advanced functions AND plays an ad every 10 button presses. If the fee gave you premium for all their remote apps it might be worth it, but that's too much for an app. It's not like they're manufacturing physical remotes.

It's okay, a bit clumsy, but I would live with it if it didn't keep having little hiccups. When I used it on my LG television. It worked pretty well. When I got Samsung, I was excited to see that it would work on it as well. Until I realized that I can't toggle the cursor. I can go left, (Back) or right (forward) but not up or down. That was only for volume. So I wasn't quite as excited. It turns out as I thought. I accidentally turne the TV off, also. This is an okay app. I'm not thrilled.

App seems to be pretty functional and setup was easy. Functionality wise would love to make this a 5 star. Unfortunately $17/year or $29/lifetime is simply far too expensive. Perhaps if I lost the remote, or it was otherwise not an option. But the advertising in app is extremely intrusive(app loads full screen add when opened), and the pricing is excessive.

Trash trash trash. Everyone wants to charge subscription fees now. Changing inputs on your tv from your watch, launching streaming services from your watch, and OPENING THE TVS SETTINGS requires premium. Premium is $16.99 a month, or THIRTY DOLLARS one time. I don't know who these people think they are. If you want a remote on your watch search for 'Remote For LG Smart TV'. it has a premium plan but you don't have to buy it to launch smart TV apps, open settings, or change inputs. Be better.

I liked this app initially. It worked seamlessly with my LG TV, as described and was a lifesaver when I remote went missing. But it glitches...A LOT! I have to constantly turn everything off and back on, restart the app which rarely works, go through every single function and then come back to it hoping that ANY of the buttons will work. About 50% of the time this solves the problem. If an app only works 50% of the time or less, that is a major problem.

I had the old version of this app on my old phone and it worked fine, then when I got a new phone I had no choice but to get this one because the older app was discontinued and replaced with this one. This app works, but when I open it, it takes almost 30 seconds just to load the ad, then I have to press close on the ad, THEN I'm able to turn my volume down. Half the time I accidentally click the ad! They are too distracting. Plus the lockscreen volume buttons don't even respond.

It works but, moreso as a last resort when I lose my remote. Have to try connecting to my TV multiple times before it works. Then, I have to click something a bunch of times before it registers (volume, arrows, home, etc.) and then there's also the pop-up ads so you can't click quickly or you'll click one. I would try the premium to see if it works better but don't want to waste my money if it doesn't.

I have the free version. Unsure if there's a paid one. Works well with lg model um6900pua. Good - I'd have to say it's an average app. It does its job. I like that you can save shortcuts for your home screen and make navigation easy. Bad - The ads are annoying because If you don't put your music on 0, BEFORE opening the app because it will play very loud ads. The banner on the bottom is annoyingly close to phone UI buttons.

I just paid for a Netflix subscription but in the Netflix app the remote skips over everything. Every time I push left right up or down it registers as clicking 2 or 3 times I can't type any shows in. This is terrible. Remove the pop up ads that come up while I'm trying to click my remote if you want me to pay for it ad free. Because these ads are coming up while the remote doesn't even work properly and I'm just trying to get 1 show started, it wouldn't work without ads anyway.
