I use this app everyday multiple times for my English teaching. I love that it often provides a range of field specific answers and parts of speech. For example, same word where possible as a noun, verb, adjective and some context. The only thing is it only allows one word searches. German has many collocations whereas in English it's two or three words, which are not possible to search together. Otherwise a fantastic app.

Awesome application. I was wondering whether it would be possible in the trainer to be quizzed on all words of a certain word list. The application seems to support this: "Set the maximum number of words you want to be quizzed on in one drill session. If you would like to be quizzed on all words, leave the default setting all". But there's actually no way to select that "all" and the max limit is set to 100 words. Thanks.

Unfortunately new design is really bad and app is significantly slower.

Very disappointed. The old version was much better. Font size too small

Leo is an excellent app, whiche have a good list of words, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conujation, grammatic and phrases. The ads in this app is created in such a way that it doesn't bother the viewers in their way of searching. One of it's cons is sometime it doesn't have any large words or its meaning (which i am searching only for german)

I've been happily using this incredibly useful resource for a very long time. The ease of use, forums and discussions have allowed me to improve my German no end. But like others here I've noticed that since the most recent update the discussions now open in the browser. I would like to request that the old functionality be restored so that discussions are opened within the app. Otherwise keep up the great work.

New user interface is not for people. What for 30% of screen was taken for useless elements? Could you please return it?

The version before the redesign provided integration with other apps to e.g. translate words directly from an e-book reader, the new version has lost this function.

The new design is awful. All the history is gone now. Revert it back and listen to your users!

The new version is way too slow. 10 seconds startup time on the flagship phone is outrageous

Please get back training with just cards. No test. And provide back an ability to train same set of words so many time as users want.

I have loved the app and use it since years, but the new layout is very bad... the former one was way more intuitive.

They recently overhauled the UI. Now it doesn't only have a small dictionary, but also a nigh unusable UI.

Does not comply with RGPD. They force you to accept seeing targeted ads (and therefore to accept cookies) and tell you you can "later" remove your consent in the settings, but when you do that, the message forcing you to give your consent pops up again and takes up half the screen making the app unusable unless you consent. Very disappointed. I'll signal this to the CNIL if it doesn't change anytime soon. This is unacceptable. You should have the option to refuse from the start.

Ouch! The redesign... Sorry, but: the left-right structure, displaying languages juxtaposed was way better 😢 Could you add an option on the settings to switch back to that view? Other than that I love Leo and you guys saved my life for nearly 30 years, helping me to be successful abroad and elevating my English skills to near-native speaker level. 🙏🏻

The dictionary itself is quite good, the app with its outdated UI and its "unique" color scheme not so much. The UX isn't great either, tapping on a forum discussion, for example, usually just leads the user to some sort of mobile homepage, not the discussion itself; retrying a couple times usually (but not always) works. The forums are an important part of what the app has to offer, though, as the dictionary entries are sometimes incomplete or missing.

Well done dictionary app. I use it all the time and being able to check conjugations on the fly is very useful for beginners. My only issue is sometimes when I search the sesrch screen will go away and instead of showing me the results it'll show me another search screen with my previous search. Hopefully that bug gets fixed soon but it's still great. It helped me a lot in my study abroad to germany.

I've used this app for years and have always loved it, it's one of the most accurate translation apps in my opinion. However, since they've updated it, it's extremely difficult to use. The user experience is terrible now, the compact view is gone, the colors are difficult to read, and it takes way more time to sort through vocabulary suggestions because of the updated view.
