It's sneaky.. it makes you think you're getting a free trial, but then you have to pay for it to make a batch of 100 images from only 10-20 photos each time anyway. Only like 25 or of 100 images that resembled me.. some of them, the AI interpreted my look completely different and you couldn't tell it was from me at all. I loved maybe 10-15 of them, but I wanted to try something else. And then would've had to pay again.. so I didn't do it.

Seriously? This app is garbage. You can use a free trial, which is fine, but the avatars cost about $8 for 200. I bought 3 sets because each time they were just horrible! I figured i had to be doing something wrong. Each time i did it, i uploaded 20 unique photos for it to use, and all three times, i feel like it only used the first picture as a reference. Many of them had awful smudges on them. It's not worth any amount of money!

.This app has a lot of potential to be something great, but it will never get to that level so long as the current payment structure is in place. You're only allowed Five pictures a week before purchasing [I have yet to see any other apps impose that] - as a digital designer I use a Lot of drafts so I find it limiting, and the current available features fail to justify the higher cost. You Can have limits on your free trial without sacrificing the general "taste", if done right.

I had this app installed before, but didn't feel like paying to use it, so I uninstalled it eventually. I decided to try it again and this time subscribe. Five minutes into my trial period I find you have to keep paying, on top of and in addition to the subscription fee, to use more features. Sorry, but if I can't have complete access for the subscription price, it's not worth it. There are free apps that do more than what yours does for the base subscription price. Bye! Uninstalled.

I bought the $12.99 package for 100 images and feel it was not worth it. First, the app glitched out and didn't recognize my payment. I contacted Lensa support and they were helpful. Once I finally got the app to work, 80% of the images didn't even look like me, had crossed eyes, or were otherwise unusable. I saw some people get really awesome results with this app. Unfortunately, mine were lackluster. It looked like they just put my eye makeup and lips on random Asian womens' faces.

I'll update if/when they respond. I got the subscription thinking 1.99 is not that much to simply try out the app, but then, of course, like many others, I tried to use the magic avatar only to find another payment was needed. I paid for the Magic Avatar & it still doesn't work. Every time I select photos, it keeps asking for payment even though I already paid. It's disappointing. I contacted their support hopefully they get in contact with me soon.

Not a great experience. So when it comes to selecting the package it jumps to the more expensive package so you may miss the cheaper one unless you scroll up so I bought that more expensive package and the pics didn't load, so I tried another package and reported the issue. They replied that I should instead select the same package and I would not be charged twice. Also, if I chose the wrong package accidentally the 2nd time, they would refund me. None of those things happened. I was charged 3X.

Gives an interesting array of AI generated art. Enjoyed the images it created. However, the payment wasn't clear that you were purchasing a one-time set of images. (7.99 for 50 of 5 styles/11.99 for 100 of 10 styles). Since they have subscription options I thought this was for a month for the respective 5 or 10 styles available. Not just a one time purchase of 50 AI generated images. Would definitely not have paid that much. Needs better distinction between one-time purchase & subscription.

I was looking forward to trying this but the purchasing buttons are buggy. They'll take your money, but it won't proceed to the next page. There's also a glitch when purchasing the subscription. I had to cancel and try again due to the bug, and it said my first payment won't be until 2024. Odd. It still wasn't working so I Uninstalled and tried again, then it said my first payment won't be until 2025. Definitely something that needs fixing for everyone's sake.

This app is terrible quality, plus you purchase it and then have to pay more to use it? 200 pics it generated, all of them terrible. TERRIBLE! I read your response, it's still simply too exorbitant to have to pay on top of the annual fee. As a show of trust, I sprung for the 200, not a single one usable. 200 duds? That goes beyond AI being difficult to control, and into my having wasted about $40 for something that turned out to be absolutely useless to me and not even entertaining.

DON'T DOWNLOAD!!!! NOT worth it! Signed up for a free trial (with the yearly subscription to follow) and then I got started choosing pictures and filters. Got to the point where the next step would be for the app to do its thing but it popped up a notification saying I'd have to pay separately for this (even with the subscription I was already trialing!) and I find that to be very shady. Canceled the trial immediately and uninstalled the app. No thanks!!

Too much money for an unstable app. This is just about the Magic AI. Doing it twice now has resulted in images with no heads, completely warped images, and only about 10% that actually bear a resemblance to me. I understand the tech is new and learning. But a headless avatar? And multiple at that. I only imported head shots as instructed. When I told them about the issue they told me to try again and assured me I wouldn't be charged. That was false. And the second round was worse!

Downloaded this app mainly to try the avatar feature only to find out that I have to pay for it first...what a blip! You should at least let a person try this feature with 2-3 pictures 1st. You could even put a watermark over it to show what they'd be getting 1st, instead wanting money right off. Not a good sales tactic and definitely a turn off for me. Also, the app seems to have issues when you try to push certain buttons, because nothing happens. Uninstalling, not worth it.

Update...the app is cool. When it gets it right, my pics are awesome. Unfortunately you can't control if and when, or how many results actually look like you. The newer styles added to the app seem to produce less accurate results. Pictures without bright lighting and with strong features/ produce better results. The better the app can detect the outlines of the photos you choose, the better the accuracy of results that actually look like you. I don't care for the prices lol.

Very Frustrating App. After jumping through several hoops (multiple screens, multiple selections, choosing 10 selfies) and signing up for a 7-day free trial, I still have to pay to test the app. Their other apps are awesome, and I'm sure using AI and their servers isn't cheap, but I'd like to test it before paying $30 (US) for an annual subscription and even more to have 10 images processed.

I don't know what's wrong with Lensa! Right after I got the annual subscription, I can't edit any picture at all. When I try to save the edited picture, it just restarts. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and even updated it, but nothing seems to work. I feel scammed😒 I would give zero star at the moment if I could!

It used to be an amazing, 5-star app for editing. Even as a professional, I used it when I wasn't at my computer for basic adjustments. However, since this last update, it won't open. I have to uninstall and re-download it just to use it every time. There are also a lot of new bugs that have popped up. I understand that coding errors happen, and I hope the developers fix them soon because this was one of the best apps I'd found for editing, and it's sad to see it in this state of disrepair.

UPDATED 2024: I have purchased the yearly subscription, which was around $40.00, I believe. On top of that, you have to purchase AI images every time you use it. They usually cost between $5.99 and $7.99. It just depends on how many. I have purchased over 9,600 images from their AI, and I can honestly say that maybe 50 of the images are actually useful. As someone who has wasted hundreds, if not thousands of dollars already, save your money. Even the photo editor isn't that great.

Seems like a cool app to edit your photos but really just grabs your money and runs. I signed up for the subscription after buying a cheap back and haven't been able to use the subscription ever since. Basically, I paid over $30 for the app to edit a handful of photos for me one time. And over half of them were deformed looking. Don't do it. Highly disappointed. I'm trying to get my money back, we'll see how that goes.

I liked that I could change backgrounds around a subject. Now there's been an update and they seem to have removed a lot of the features I used. Fail. Update in response to the developers. There is no "blur" on the bottom menu. "Magic. Erasure. Crop. Filters. Light. Color. Details. Effects. Art Styles. Borders. Frames."
