first off.. great job bringing it back I love that you did! but come on bring more of the original back, like being able to pause the game and plan out how to tackle it, or able to choose a single lemming for a job, the energy thing is just ridiculous like really? don't be like other games out there n pay to win type stuff, make us earn it! not pay.. it's not really that challenging as the original, there's less thought put into it and the levels are basically the same each time..

the original game used to have a set number of abilities per level... this one uses energy to buy what you need, when you need it. if you had alot of energy you can purchase enough to pass any level. beings you can spend $$ on energy, kinda takes the challenge away. also, I can't seem to find a way to go back and play a previous level if I didn't get a perfect score. looks like one you pass a level, you can only move forward.

This version brings back some of the fun of the old games, I grew up on, but with drawbacks. 1- You can't replay the levels to try again, if you end up falling short a lemming or two or a perfect rating. 2- the energy system is a huge hindrance. You can maybe do 3 levels before you run out, and god help you if you screw up, cause that's just more energy gone. 3- I would like to be able to turn off the Tribes custom lemmings. They are cool, but they can make it hard to figure who is in the lead.

game itself is very good. However adds are too annoying. I will tolerate a small amount if adds but this one had adds that you click on (by accident) and then when you exit the ad it stays over again and you can't get out of it until it finishes. if you actually touch the screen again you have to stay out over again. removing game. this is a totally a game i would consider paying for if it were an option.

It restarted the tutorial. I already spent a good 15 minutes on the, waste of time, tutorial. The game is intuitive, if someone needs help there should be a button for it. If there was a way to turn tutorial off, I couldn't find it. Waste of time, disappointment, and the game is just way to slow. I played the original the other day and even that was faster paced. Get rid of the tutorial and it would be at least a 4 star game imo.

Sad to change my review after so long, but too much has changed for the worst. First, $6/week up to $49 per year for vip is insane. Most apps you pay for once to unlock special things and ad free. I would pay 6 to 10 dollars for this as a one time fee and I've never paid for any other apps. I've been playing for over 5 years every day. I stop for 2 months, come back, and suddenly they have 2x ads and I can only unlock 4 characters each season unless I pay for vip? I'd go on if I had more space.

Game was a really fun nostalgic throwback, until I started coming across levels with no way around an obstacle. Most of the levels up until this point you could always find a safe way around all obstaclez(even if it took a lot of energy) so they could all get home safely. This latest set of levels though has unbreakable blocks above and below and traps with no way around except to expend energy for blockers and time the gauntlet. Obviously a cash grab for purchasing "powerups". Not worth my time

It's a decent game that's ruined by its pay-to-play structure. You can play for maybe 15 minutes before you're out of "energy." At almost $50/year for VIP play, it's just not worth it. The other option is to watch an excessive amount of far-too-long ads which sometimes glitch and make you rewatch them to get your "reward" of continued play. They also track and sell a ton of your data. No thanks.

Impossible level I've been playing for a few months now, maybe longer, but I've come across a level that is quite literally impossible. I'll attach a screenshot if I can with the problematic level. The only potential way to beat it would be by using balloons, I think, something you can only gain temporary access to via a paid VIP.

It could be a great game but it has serious issues: 1 The Piggy Bank makes the game so slow, just remove it, I wanna finish a game, watch the ad & start again, the Piggy Bank makes it too slow. 2 Most animations take way too long (eg egg opening), they should be skippable. 3 No option to pay $3 / $5 to get rid of the ads 4 Too many ads: win? Ad. Lose? Two ads. Do spin? Ad. Abandon level? Ad. Get repeat egg? Ad. Etc. Conclusion: The last one is understandable, but the rest could be fixed

Update: I got a new phone and it is starting at the beginning...Fun but frustrating. Occasionally glitches and lemmings fall through the stairs where they touch the wall. AND they need to fix how you select Resurrect- the select button is exactly where you are often clicking to put in an instruction so it just selects Resurrect without you ever seeing the choice (essentially stealing it from you). They need to add a confirmation for that, or at least move it to a lesser used spot on the screen!!

I first played lemmings way back in the day on Windows 3.1, definitely entertaining. This version could very well be excellent as well but its pay to play model is egregiously, greedy. The developers decided it'd be fun to make as many ways possible for you to attach a credit card if you wanted to play more than ~10 minutes at a time and the wait time takes hours to fully reset. Want to continue play immediately? Be prepared for some of the longest and a countless ad bombardment to do so.

I've been a lemmings fan since the 1980s on my old Amiga. Found this game years ago, and it was fun and nostalgic. I played for a couple of years, and the game started crashing a lot, and I got annoyed. Stopped playing. Picked it up again, and nothing has changed. Spend power up, using 20-25 energy on one level on for it to crash before it picks up the level is beaten. It's even worse when you waste tickets on the season and it crashes.

Another adaptation that ruins my childhood memories. Climbers. Exploders. Etc. All gone. Also the "you play when I say you play because you don't have the 'energy' to build" model is obviously infuriating. If you are a millennial, or younger, with no concept of non in-app purchase games, AND never played the original, you might like it. Otherwise it's a sad money grab version where $50 will get you a year only and you STILL can't just play it without being locked out eventually.

I've been playing the last couple of years. It's definitely fun, and you don't have ads forced on you. The cons. The energy thing is unnecessary. That want even in the original lemmings, poor judgment. Also, how lemmings will allow down near traps. Also, not in the original lemmings. Intentional sabotaging in the game makes me want to uninstall

Please fix the bugs!!! I love this game, but I give it 3 stars because the game is constantly locking up and restarting. It plays normal through a level, but when the last lemming gets home, it will sometimes freeze and restart, losing all of the energy I used during that level. Very frustrating, especially if it takes me 20 energy to solve the level. Fix the bug, and I will give it 5 stars.

It runs smooth, it's visually interesting and challenging at times, the collectable lemmings are cute! So what's my problem? Energy. Easier levels take 10-15 energy to complete, and harder ones can take almost 25-30 at times. With the proper enegry, most levels can be past first try in a few minutes. If it takes 5 minutes to regain 1 energy naturally, that means it takes 5 hours for a full recovery. Waiting several hours for a vital resource only to have to wait more is quite frustrating.

There is a new bug. App just shuts down or freezes, mostly in the challenge levels. This costs you your ticket. Considering how few tickets you get in the game, and how much money they want to buy 5 tickets... They want us to pay to create levels. They should pay US for finding these bugs. This particular bug is now in it's third season.

I have a love/hate relationship with this app. I've been playing casually for a couple of years now, and have always found it to be enjoyable and challenging. My issue is that I've reached some levels that are SO STINKIN HARD it's virtually impossible to complete them. I refuse to pay money on a game, so I just keep trying (until i run out of energy of course). Games are supposed to be fun and relaxing, but these hard levels are taking all the fun out of it. Considering uninstalling.

Lots of potential here but it's one of those games where they try and coerce you into buying lives. But in this case you're buying moves. You get 60 moves at a time. And then they are all gone in 2 or 3 rounds. not to mention if you're close to finishing a level and need to wait for 1 or 2 lives to populate the app will crash and lose all of your progress.
