An hour to download assets, every time. That's absurd. I wanted to game with my group, so I downloaded all the new assets the night before. And yet, it's like nothing saved locally because it needed another 90 minutes the next morning to download the same assets again. The game is fun, but there must be a way to make the app run faster. This waiting every single time is unacceptable.

Fantastic game. Allows the person who is always the GM to play alongside friends and family. Playing with my wife and son who are having a blast. Great way to spend some family time. It is a great balance between digital and physical.

Wow, just found out I wasted $75 buying a copy of this game because it requires this app....which won't even start up on my phone!! Just a blank screen. I have a new Samsung phone with plenty of space so no reason it should just crash. Had I realized it used an app I'd never have bought it....for this VERY reason!

I recently bought this board game but now regret it. It's never a good idea to mix board game play with app technology. Because at some point for whatever reason this app will no longer be available, and a rather expensive board game will be rendered useless without it. I've already experienced problems with the app sticking mid download. I'm not saying that the game isn't enjoyable, but because of the games dependency on this app it's extremely expendable and already ebay fodder 👎

This game is great and the app makes it better. However!... please consider an option to tweak the font as it is hard to read on big screen. I would also love to see some expansions!

Keeps freezing and crashing mid-game. Can't go more than a round or two without the app locking up my entire phone. Fortunately there's some kind of auto save feature so we don't lose all of our progress, but we end up repeating previous rounds every time the app crashes.

The game is fun, but the app is a prime example of why I dislike app-driven board games. It tries to download the 600MB assets every time I load the app, and sometimes it takes forever. It also does not always gracefully handle the device going to sleep. I am worried about the game's longevity if these issues persist. Will I even be able to play this game in 10 years?

The app crashes so often that we cant play 2-3 rounds without it crashing. We have tried multiple ways to fix including restarting the device but we basically have to save after every action or face losing progress.

Bought extra data just to download this app to play the game (have to have or you have to make up stats for monsters) it downloads, installs, then "downloads new assets" .. it's been on 10% for over an hour. Did it on my husband's phone which is hooked to the WiFi as well so it's not that either. Useless app for a now very expensive mostly useless game.

The app is garbage. Load times are insane. One week in and it had a 700mb update?!?!? What kind of assets are bing updated?!?! Doesn't keep track of everything in the event of having to save and continue later. Starting a new mission shows your available equipment (armor, trinkets) but you don't input them unless it's required for app math. Minimal voice. No ability to transfer a save to another device.

The app doesn't work most of the time, and when it does its very buggy. It gets stuck upon opening the app, it gets to 10 percent of loading assets and freezes there. The few games where it actually worked the map would scroll around non stop without touching the screen. I haven't yet tried reinstalling the app yet because I'm afraid I will lose what little progress I've made.

The game is great and fun to play. The app had an issue re-downloading content but that was quickly fixed. My only issue is the power consumption, 15 min of play I go from 100% to 83%.need to keep phone plugged in with looooooong cord. Can't wait to see what comes next, also I will enjoy painting the minis

It's downloading new assets each time I start the app. Started it 3 times in 5 minutes and redownload new assets 636mb each time... Otherwise works fine and very stable. Thanks Edit: I email support about it and it is a known issue with a near futur fix. I'll come back to re-review it once it's fix Another edit: Assets doesn't download with each startup anymore. The only thing it's seriously missing now is saved files transfer from a device to another.

The idea is good, but this REALLY needs some quality of life updates. Like an "undo" button and a "restart mission" button.

Application is nearly perfect, but it have a big issue: font type is really very small, it is necesary fix it because if I play in smartphone or big TV, words are very very very small and it is dificult to read. Other thing, it is a good idea save in cloud, because not always I play in same device or with same friends.

Edit 8/21: fixed reloading issue. The game is awesome. The app itself still lacks some quality of life features. Needs: 1. Easy ability to transfer saves from device to device 2. Client/server so others can run an instance of the app while playing the same game Original: 8/7 Regardless of what you think of the game, the app is bugged in a very detrimental way. Every time i load the app, it downloads ”new” assets of 636MB in size. Please fix this bug.

Great updates, last year had lots of bugs that kept crashing the game. Recently, updates solved all those problems, added some quality of life updates in game, and the ability to cross platform save was much needed. The game itself is great and lots of fun. Looking forward to beating it before the expansion is released
