Great game, I have a physical copy of the game and the worst part is rearranging everytime, this fixes that problem, the only thing I'll will add is make gauntlet free of energy so more people play, everyone plays co-op as gauntlet, also if you play with friends whoever hosts goes 1st everytime they should fix that. Other than that great strategy game.

I'm having a great time playing Legendary. My only negatives are that the Starter pack doesn't seem to offer much and I don't understand the online requirement for Solo play. It can really interrupt a game when I'm in an area with an unreliable connection. Otherwise a great option when I dont have time to set up the physical game.

Just like the tabletop game but with different name and drawings, only draw back is the energy, no timer on it so you never know if it's regenerated enough to use, also only having a maximum of 6 energy (atleast from level 1 to 11 so far) isn't good. Would like gan makers to add timer and have it atleast 10 energy so I can play a good 3 to 5 games before waiting for more energy. Other than that, a great game

Great UI. It's the board game digitally with their own characters and terms. One of you're friend group can purchase most of the expansions and set up games. Solo mode is a great way to teach new players as well. I think the devs have abandoned this but they should really pick it back up.

I used to love this game as much as the physical board game. But then they did updates that completely erased all my hard earned progress so I stopped playing. Tried again recently and it won't even connect to the server. Essentially a dead game as far as I'm aware. It's why I try to avoid sinking money into app games. They only last a small amount of time vs physical copies that can last a lifetime.

Decent Game. Shady In App Purchases The game play is pretty good. It follows the physical game and is good for learning the game and playing different strategies. I purchased the $4.99 pack so that you can play without waiting for energy. However, after the first 4 levels they bring the energy back, even with this purchase. Seems shady to me.

I haven't been playing for very long, but I love deck-builders, and this seemed like a great one with a great deal of strategy required. I purchased the expansions and am glad that I did. Definitely look into this card game if deck-builders are your thing. This is not just yet another basic one with barely any thought required. I hope they keep updating this game! I look forward to learning the strategies necessary to become a successful player.

Legendary is one of my favorite real life board games, and what very little I got to play of this version was spot on. That being said, I have fast internet and pretty good mobile service, but 80% of the time I try playing this game, it says I have "low connection" and won't let me play, even the single player campaign. This would be five stars for sure if it would just let me play, but instead, I'm deleting until I hear this problem is fixed.

The game is a lot of fun to play. Problem is you don't get to play often. It has a energy based play system that gives you little energy, has large energy costs, and high recharge time. I understand most games have something to get you to buy things, but this system just makes me go play some other game till I feel like playing again!

Really enjoyed the game for the times in between game night. Scratched the itch. Now when I try to play a game after trying to join a raid it gets to the vs screen, says loading, then returns to the main menu. Really a shame but I've tried clearing storage, uninstalling, restarting my phone. Just a dead app I spent 5 bucks in.

The regular Legendary game lets you chose what heroes you play with. This games doesn't give you a choice. Minus 2 stars. The only way you can get ahead in the game is to 'pay to play'. Minus 2 stars. I really like the game, but with these screw-ups, the game loses uts fun really quickly. Perhaps when these problems are fixed, then I will re-install this game.

Buggy experience, with quite a few lags and crashes. When it actually works it's not a bad adaptation of the tabletop game, but the UI is awkward and there's a gross film of mobile game paid upgrade ick all over the experience. Seriously, why do I need to have an active internet connection just to play this? Why are you nickel and diming me to get basic functionality? C'mon, guys. This could be a great game, so stop strangling it with that stuff.

Finally, I get to play this on the go. But I still prefer the actual card game(s) for the full experience. Besides, this app drains my phone's battery like a mofo. UPDATE: It won't let me play. Now that it's out "officially," I thought I'd give it another go. But it won't even load up. Just spins at the splash screen. I gave it permission for storage access and it's still a bust. You just lost 2 stars because of this "bug."

A great mobile version of Legendary, if you play the Marvel one all the cards from the base set are there just re-themed. Only problems with the game are you have to be online whenever you want to play and, you can't resume a game if you put the app in sleep mode for too long both of which can be frustrating when playing Solo games.

I've never played the board game and new to the deck building genre but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it lol... I've ran into a few bugs but hasn't ruined the game play (as far as I can tell, still learning so unsure)... I'm not sure if I'm missing something but feels like there should be more of a selection of villians, rather small decks you play with while in a match... and would love to see some more animations, sounds and events... As well as restocking the store/market....:)

Tried it yet again another year later. Game performance is still as bad as ever if not worse. You can't get through one game without it suddenly becoming unresponsive with nothing you touch doing anything. Still riddled with microtransactions for every little thing imaginable. They just can't get it together. They cannot do it. It is beyond their capability.

This is the most mixed review I could possibly make. I am a big fan of the Legendary deck building game in its physical version. That one is mostly Marvel, but it branched off into all sorts of other licenses, too. This app is a good chunk of the base game plus a little more, with everything re-skinned to be a generic fantasy theme. That's fine, licensing agreements can make things really rocky, so keeping it to a generic theme helps you keep it going forever. When the base content includes Avengers, X-Men, Spider-Man, and Dr. Doom, from BEFORE the big acquisition, that would certainly make things difficult. To what the game actually is, I would say this is one of the best *systems* for a deck building game. It's immensely customizable. A random mastermind is trying to accomplish a random scheme, with random villains stomping through the city, and you recruit the skills of 5 random heroes to stop them (or all the randomness can be picked, which I usually do). Stars are used to recruit new heroes, claws used to punch stuff, punch the Mastermind 4 times to win. Cool, neat. It's a fun game to play, admittedly a bit diminished by the now generic fantasy theme, but I really enjoy playing it. For as fun as the game is though, there's a lot of problems. This game is SUPER glitchy! It's so glitchy, it has a "force refresh" option to quickly reboot things. That's a really bad look. Some scenarios can't even be saved by that! The campaigns are also effectively a puzzle with heavy RNG, so even if you've figured out the ideal strategy, you could just end up not allowed to win. I've lost to RNG far more times than I've won in the single-player campaigns. I don't recommend them. The theming is also pretty bad. Most of the villain groups are just one enemy, and the cards represent different aspects of that enemy. They don't feel like villains rampaging through the city, so when one escapes, I feel very little is lost. It doesn't feel like I'm really accomplishing as much when I'm effectively just "wounding" a villain instead of totally beating them. The henchmen are all just 10 copies of the same generic mini-villain, so they work out fine. However, the overall game is workable. For being a FTP game, it ain't terrible. Ok, the "force restart" is annoying, but it's still a way to play Legendary with your friends. That function on its own makes this worth a try. Just stay away from the single-player campaigns and you'll be fine. Content is still rather light as of this writing, but that's coming from someone who owns all the Marvel content in the physical game. I'm sure there's some shock factor involved in coming down to such a smaller variety. There's enough here to make each game at least interesting, so while I have reservations, this game is still a decent pick-up. ^^^ The above was mostly taken from my Steam review. Since that writing, this game has introduced epic masterminds. Most of the time in the physical game, epic masterminds are just so ridiculously overwhelming that I have trouble imagining any scenario that could beat them, but here, we finally have epic versions of the basic masterminds. I am extremely upset that you are forced to purchase that with real money. It's the only object that can't be purchased with in-game currency. It does not indicate health for the game (get the thing to stop glitching and maybe I'll support it). If nothing else, it gives you a basis for transferring those effects into the physical game. I appreciate that much.

Cool game, but impossible to get past 3-2. The real game is multi-player, with the ability to make it easier if it's 1 player. This game doesn't do that, and without 2-3 other players all.attacking too, it is impossible. I've tried too many times, and basically, only have random games, as the campaign is dead, and that level, is impossible.

As it stands, this app is completely unplayable. It crashes constantly, it freezes constantly, it is riddled with bugs every single step of the way. Things don't happen which should, things happen which shouldn't, the game prompts you to do things that you can't, the store is broken and shows some things as having no cost and then demands more payment, the game doesn't show any sort of gallery of who the hero characters are or what they do, there's no pass and play option, there's no option to solo play as multiple players, there's no option to choose which heroes you want to play with, it's random whether or not the game bothers to start up games with the mastermind and scheme you chose or not...I love Legendary, and I WANT the option to play it on the go. As it stands though, this app is a massive amount of trouble and is barely playable.

If you like the Legendary deck building game, you'll love this. Same mechanics, good user interface. My only nitpick would be that you can't sort your hand in any way. You have to select each card to see it fully. But aside from that, a very fun game and a good digital companion to the physical card game. Hopefully they'll be able to bring in the Marvel and 007 license into this digital version in the future.
