Super expensive game. You will need to top up constantly to not lose rankings, plus the game events are back to back and super expensive. I'm talking about $99 real life currency for an in game dress kind of expensive. LOP, you got to really change things before you lose a lot of players. This type of expensive is not going to be able to maintain a lot of long time customers.

This is honestly an extremely entertaining game. Great for passing the time or if you need a little escape from the real world. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars, is because after a little bit the game does slow down and become quite a bit harder to move along levels without purchasing. (Not impossible though) There are an insane amount of events and fun sub stories that you can also partake in too!

It's fun, a lot going on. Maybe too much to do. I've turned off the sound and music but each time I open the app, the green guy pops up with a LOUD jingle and interrupts any sound (music, etc) I have going already. When I turn my music back on, it's at a lower volume until I close LotP. There's no setting in app permissions to make it not do these things. Can you fix it, please?

Great game, its similar to others but does it much better in my opinion. Good story that makes sense with interesting twists ! The only problem that keeps me from giving five stars is that it's ridiculously hard to level up your partners. I just managed to get one of my partners to lvl 100 and now I'm struggling to get two more partners to lvl 100 while everyone else is stuck at lvl 60. It makes it super difficult to defeat archrivals. Please make it easier to get exp, that is my only complaint.

Really loving this game. Fellow players are very friendly, the story is interesting & it gives you ample opportunities to gain gold if you don't want to pay real money. My only issue is some outfits require you to pay real money to unlock the opportunity to get them. If you don't finish the events in time you don't get the full outfits. I paid, was busy, returned to the game and I was only able to get 2 of 6 pieces to the outfit. A little disappointed.

I've been playing for three days, so now I can give an honest review. The art is gorgeous. The dubs are pretty good, with the exception of a few characters. Unfortunately it's becoming much more difficult. It takes an obscene amount of EXP to level up partners, esp. when each chapter requires a large amount of momentum for archrival battles. I found the game very enjoyable in the first two days, but I'm getting tired of not being able to progress. Also wish cloud brocade dropped more.

It's a pretty game and you can do quite a bit without paying in if you're patient. However there's definitely a push for you to buy "ingots", especially to get better items from events. The click box for some of the buttons also seems really specific, to the point it can be confusing if you clicked something or not or you accidentally click the wrong thing.

I really like the game, it does get repetitive when you have to farm, but it isn't boring, there are very fun mini games as well to pass the time and the story is very interesting and does make you want to know more. I love the art style and costumes. You can easily farm to get some good loot, but if I like the game I myself don't have a problem buying a 10 dollar VIP pass. Wouldn't exceed 99 dollars for something though, lol. Grammatical issues, but overall great game.

Ack! My game keeps crashing during initial loading. Cleared the cache, but it still won't start up. Help! ************************ Fun game, complexity of play and well-written storyline keep it interesting. I'm only giving 4 stars as it's a bit of a cash-grab. It's impossible to get a lot of items without paying for them: lots of micro-transactions add up quickly.

So far, interesting and works well. The first few ranks are good to get but without purchasing any Passes, but there comes a point where you need to start buying stuff to move forward. Other than that, no problems. There could be more instructions on how to "defeat" rivals and win debates though, like a how-to section. Not everything is an intuitive as it could be.

I've been very happy with some of the improvements made lately to streamline gameplay, like allowing you to skip confidant scenes you've already done while viewing those you haven't finished, picking up cooked dishes later, etc. I also like Orange Meow and the story elements. The only thing annoying me lately is that they added a pop up prompt to watch a video when collecting dailies. This slows down gameplay and should be removed; there are already other ways for the game to make money.

The story is over the top dramatic, but its so bad that its good. The voice acting is terrible. Especially with the confidents, and it gets cheesy at times. The biggest issue is microtransaction. While you can still enjoy the game without paying, you still need to shell out large amounts of currency for event items or to obtain certain partners or confidants. I don't recomend this for impulsive shoppers. Its basically a dress up game, visual novel, and dating sim.

This game is amazing and super fun at first, but the requirement of spending money to make progress gets more and more frustrating as you go along. I've put about a month into it now and deleting now since it takes too long to make progress and I don't want to keep spending more and more. I had a good time while it lasted though :) very pretty art and fun gameplay

1 star. I am a paid player and supported the devs because the story is interesting and the art is beautiful. But the cost is ridiculous! I have the lifetime & monthly passes. Everything costs a lot of real money, from guilds to quest progression. There isn't even a discount or bonus for large purchases of "gold" (in game currency) and what you get isn't worth it. Save your money or spend it on an app that isn't so obviously trying to bleed you dry. I wont spend another penny unless this changes.

We used to be able to switch out our cabinet scholar once we surpassed the old one's initial attributes and potential. I bought and used potential to do so, but I haven't been able to change my scholar for over a year now. The game is making things more difficult and impossible when it used to be achievable with a degree of actual thought and game play. It's all about buying now.

Keep coming back to this one. Imo, it's the simplest one to learn and just better overall. You don't have to spend but you will if you want to be competitive. If not, it takes a lot of hard work, but I've seen some f2p and low spenders in the top. It's still enjoyable without spending if you're there for just the story. Just know if you spend to be competitive, be prepared to spend A LOT. F2p, you will have to save for a long time to get the stuff you want in events, and story progress is slow.

Love this game! I've been playing for years and still am not tired of it!! Sometimes the events can be expensive, but as long as you are willing to miss out on a few outfits/cards and wait for the next go around, it is pretty affordable and a fun, relaxing game. The stories they come up with for the main story line, confidants, and events are so fun and cool!

I honestly love the game. There is a variety of things to do and has become a lot more fun when finding a good guild. The dresses and other pieces are beautiful too. But the game has become obscenely expensive! The prices for majority items along with events, I can't seem to justify paying for... If there could be deals thrown from time to time or games to try to win some in-game currency, that would be more attractive to players. I'm not understanding why it's becoming even more expensive?

I've been playing for a while now, and I used to love this game. The art is stunning, and I love the story. But, as a casual, somewhat competitive player, It's turning into a money grab game. Modo has put out so many events back to back that you can not save enough ingots and have to buy more and more to participate. I've paid for the monthly and lifetime pass as well as bought ingots for specific outfits, $15, $25 to $30 worth. Unless you're in that 1% with money to burn, It's not worth it.

It is unfortunate that this pay to play game has gone into overdrive with events. There is no chance to recover and save ingots for another event. Not spaced apart AT ALL. Many times, there are 2 or 3 major spending events at the same time. Outfits and land objects for these events are wildly expensive. Many users are abandoning their accounts because they can't afford to play anymore. I do pay to play but even I am questioning whether I should slow down or leave the game. Disappointed.
