Four stars because I think the challenge for Burial Grounds is bugged. I fully fail 1 minute in no matter what I try, even though I still have 10 lives. Overall the game is fun and challenging. Increased difficulty in the right places to push tower upgrades. Hero controls sometimes is frustrating because they won't stop attacking to respond to a move order.

I love the game, it's very fun, I love the story line, controls are good, gameplay is fine, but it can be a bit to grindy, not much reward increases for how hard the levels are, most of the heroes are behind a pay wall like your new hero, I think you should increase the rewards for the hard levels, I also think you should continue the storyline, like have some levels in cities, forests, and other places and continue in defeating the zombies. Overall, I love the game, but needs more improvement.

Fun game but like all of these games, you cap out and eventually get bored. That isn't to say the endgame is pointless. There's some fun to it but you're just playing the levels on hard/nightmare. The initial run through is very fun though. There's a story that actually progresses throughout the entire campaign. Maps are actually challenging and it requires some strategy versus brute force. Plenty of different towers, heroes and unique maps. Worth a shot.

Very Fun Tower defense with a zombie theme. Works offline. Feels well put together. Had it for a couple of weeks to kill time, but I'm playing it a lot more than I thought. Not Pay-to-Win but paying is optional. The pacing is great. Waiting for upgrades or maps adds a nice longevity. You can replay any beaten map for additional coin. Grinding isn't too long. You have heros that you can work towards and upgrade. I really enjoy this game! Best one I've owned. Give it a try.

I'm finding the story compelling, and the gameplay quite fun. The development tree and game balance is very good such that one needn't excessively grind (unless one so chooses). The $$ spend options can be worthwhile, but aren't so obviously skewed as to require spending an excessive amount for relevant progression. The ads don't takeaway from gameplay (you could avoid them altogether, but you're well rewarded to watch them). Overall, one of the better mobile phone games I've played!

Okay, so far, this game is decent. It's your typical TD game where you go through levels, aim to get 3 stars and earn points for upgrades. A fast forward button is there, but you must press and hold it, which can be annoying. Along the way, it gets difficult and you must grind for points to go further the levels. Upgrades do have a wait time too, so there's that. It's also and okay story too.

Storyline awesome. Just downloaded and spent hours playing. Great game! Just wish there was a way to slow down the action a bit.. so many variables to think about! Ads are non-intrusive. Watch only if you want to, and does not bother gameplay at all. Again, just wish there was an option to control the speed of the game (slower). Also, I understand the round silver stars are for upgrades and hero items, but what are the gold stars used for? Can't seem to figure that out...

This is a great tower defense game. It has a perfect balance of options and upgrades without being too complicated. It's really fun! The ads aren't too intrusive. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that upgrading tower types, power, and other attributes takes a very long time. 6 upgrades in and it is a 2 hour wait time for one upgrade, plus you can only upgrade one at a time. Otherwise, it has some unique attributes that differentiate it from other games such as heroes and more.

Decent tower defense. The theme is slightly off but it has a lot of upgrades, interesting heros(and abilities), tower types. It's not super spammy with ads like a lot of other games. They have a few high end heros that can be paid for but there are quite a bit that unlock from playing. I still haven't unlocked everything, my only complaint is how long the timers are on high end unlocks and traveling to new certain levels. Overall fun and interesting.

This would be a really good game if not for several small annoyances and, most importantly, the fact it's a major grindfest. It's possible to beat without spending money, but it takes forever, playing the same levels over & over & over for money and XP to be able to get strong enough to proceed. There are also issues with difficulty balance/spikes, and most of the game really isn't much of a challenge, even on nightmare mode. All you need is maxed out arrow, air, and defender towers for 99% of the game, and possibly mortar and stomp towers for one or two levels. There's more difficulty in dealing with some of the game's idiosyncrasies than in actually beating the levels. If they'd focused more on making the game balanced and properly challenging (instead of hard just because you haven't spent enough money or enough time grinding) instead of just trying to get people to spend money, it could have been 4 or 5 stars. Instead, it's only ok and not worth bothering unless you don't mind spending the time and/or money.

4.5 stars for me. Minimal ads, good graphic quality, challenging enough especially on early boss levels. There are some longer wait times for tower upgrades. I wish you could at least do multiple upgrades at one time to mitigate the wait. A bit difficult to play on a small screen due to the size of the levels and small tower and character sizes. Overall, though, it's looking like possibly the best free TD I've played so far.

TD games have always been a personal favorite of mine, and this one definitely impresses me. The beginning levels are structured so that you can learn the mechanics while not being mind-numbingly boring; difficulty progression is also very appropriate. The combination of heroes, towers, and the upgrade system is nicely planned out and keeps things fresh and enjoyable. Worth a try for anyone looking for a game that you can pick up and put down at any time.

With the wait time for upgrades and the necessity of them for level completion, out of the two months I've had the game I've only played it for 8 hours. Between the map sizes and the complexity of wave paths, I've been more frustrated than satisfied with my experience. I learned quickly that some $$ needs to be spent. The alternative being level grinding with underpowered towers to build funds enough for the next 4-8 hour upgrade... or 31 hour upgrade.

Great TD game, but I hate the infinity levels, which are usually my favorite in TD games, because it destroys half to all of your towers every 5 rounds. I hate it so much, I had to take 2 stars off. Please eliminate this in the next update, don't care about getting more coins, I just want a longer game and to be able to build up my towers and not have to frantically sell them in the 3 seconds before the missles hit. It's not fun, it's annoying.

Its the best tower defense game I've played in a while. You don't just upgrade towers, you get a heroes to upgrade too. Plus I LOVE zombies. Best part is it doesn't kill my battery like other games. The game reminds me of gauntlet+Tower defense... with a hint of the old diablo PC game. Fun stuff. Not to sure about the mixing of different themes when it comes to the heroes, I'll have to play more to see if it feels weird.

good game but lacks longevity. I've spent about $20 and would like to spend more to get the last couple heros but theres nothing to do. I would give anything to have the endless wave levels not missle your weapons periodically. that's sooo cheap. it is very defeating and zaps the fun out of what could be a awesome addition to the games longevity. other than that, no complaints.

Great game for a free to play. There are a few points where you have to figure out what towers to pick for certain maps, so you have to go back to levels to farm currency to upgrade different towers. Other than the grind the level of strategy and difficulty is great. I found a exploit though on one of the levels, I forgot what one exactly since it's been more than half a year since I played and beat the game. I was able to farm infinite currency and buy everything on one of the later levels.

I'm on about level 12 and it's still fun. The weapon upgrading is balanced and good so far; I like theres a lot of options for how you want to upgrade your towers, i.e. upgrading one tower more or unlocking multiples. My only complaint so far is clicking towers when the view is widened is difficult, it often doesnt select the tower i am trying to select. Another concern is theres so many heroes and unlocks for towers that will i even get to unlocking those before i finish the game? I'm feeling like it's a "if you go this route then u need to commit to it fully"kinda thing. Not a bad thing but if it makes using other towers or heroes unviable then that's kinda a bummer.

Tl;dr -- Unique and very engaging TD game, keeps you on edge. What I like the most about this game is that it keeps you, the player, on edge. Enemy spawn points and routes can change mid-game, and that is a nightmare in maps with multiple exits. Fortunately game is not unbeatable: you don't need "cheese" tactics and the mobile, controllable heroes breathe life into your strats. Each map's own "challenge mode" is also arranged differently from the story configuration. Great TD game!

Last Hope TD combines everything I want in a tower defense game. There are tons of upgrades, heroes, towers, and more. The game is quite challenging, especially if you're trying to 3-star every map. In addition, each map also has a challenge version of itself which can change up your defenses. Limiting the number of towers, reducing your lives, and sometimes completely altering the map. This adds lots of replay value.
