The gameplay is really top-notch, and makes for a fun action RPG; the graphics are gorgeous, and fluid, and the music is seriously nice compared to other similar mobile games! My only gripe is how low the unit summon rates are. You're mainly going to get nothing but Arks, a type of equipment for your units, while units themselves are fairly hard to come by. Arks are beautiful drawn, and animated, but...I just want to have an easier time summoning characters.

It is a good game, neat story and honestly you could easily beat everything with the free characters they give you. My only issue is that once your done with the story, there isn't much to look forward to. You can pull for new characters and arks but low rates will depress you even with money. They seem to take forever to put new story in, and for me that is the main draw of the game. They keep releasing characters and arks instead and that gets old.

I've played many gacha games and usually I get bored and eventually stop playing. I've been coming back to this one since I installed and I must say it's probably one of, if the not THE best I've played. The combat is a bit easy (so far), though there is actually room for strategy, unlike other games of this type which are pretty much just clickers with random enemy selection that you truly have no control over. I like the asthetics of the graphics and the flashy moves are always cool to see.

So leveling up is a bit of slow, and I think that was intended in such way. But what I don't like is that the in-between time for each attack is taking too long, and that the characters are too often randomly changing target during the fights which is annoying as hell! You already not attacks fast enough and often, and that you still running around on the battlefield wasting time due to randomly attack different foe! Why? Consider the foe can still attack back or even cast spells, this sucks!

I first played this game about a year ago or so and fell in love with it! I will say I did lose my first account as I didn't save it properly but my newest account is way better so it all worked out! There's been some pretty cool crossovers in this game so it's definitely worth checking out! DMC has been by far my most fav but I would love to see some other crossovers in the future if possible: Resident Evil, TMNT, Final Fantasy (7, 8, 10, 15), Marvel? Idk the ideas are endless!

As much as i want to give 5 star there are some problems. Auto battle AI needs improvement, i watched as i slowly died off while my set healer(who has nothing but heals set) did nothing but auto attack the entire time. Need 1 more red spot for current game state. A few more higher difficulty sub quests would be nice. Monster collector should show locations. I would love to see a free roam area or two added in the future. If AI is improved i will change to 5 star. I do LOVE the game. Well done.

Great game honestly. Been playing on and off. The only thing that would really help is if there was a search option for arks learnable skills so players could pinpoint specific skills for characters instead of going through 100+ arks. It is so tiring trying to build characters without a filtering system for that. Maybe from unit show all skills and add a shortcut from character to ark based off what skill they don't learn naturally. It would motivate me to play more I believe.

A worthy successor to Brave Frontier, for those who remember. Story, art, music, layout, and general gameplay loop (with a well built team) are incredible. A suprisingly deep equipment and ability system that allows for a lot of customization that, understandably, can be intimidating for new players. This, along with low pull rates for featured units, exclusive, high-level equipment locked behind paid banners, and generally large commitment to character builds add to this issue but, overall 4☆

After playing this game some more I have decided to edit my review. The gameplay is pretty good...you can tell the writers of FFBE had a hand in it. The game stands out because it has many intresting things to do and plenty of secrets to uncover. The pool of characters is still very small and the odds of getting a character vs an ark is pretty low. That being said, you have a lot of creative control when building your characters. You can teach them a variety of skills because of Arks.

I don't know how responsive the developers are about the game, and how vocal the community is for it, but I would like to point out two gripes I have about the game that are pretty minor. 1. Your characters when you press the attack button seem to only have one voice line they always use, and it's kind of irritating, so I play with sound off usually, which is a shame since the music is good. 2. You can't use your ultimate ability to overkill enemies, units just keep attacking nothing.

Love the graphics, but the game lacks content after finishing the story. It's fun for a free mobile game. Gacha doesn't feel super necessary which is nice. The ark system is cool so that you can build any character however you want. However it gets stale as the grind to lvl 100 is tedious and awakening materials can be hard to come by. The AI could use a lot of work as well. Overall the game was fun for about a time, but falls off a cliff once the story is done.

Great game. I see many negative reviews focusing on the dual energy system and being locked behind it. I've been playing for two weeks non stop, having spent only $8.00 on unit upgrade mats. Not once have I ran into blue or red orb issues. And I've played a lot. Definitely above average. The ark system is fun and allows for flexible characters. Unit pulls are rare, but so far it doesn't feel bad as the free characters are serviceable when paired with powerful arks.

Honestly one of the best games I have played. The characters are fun to play with and its extremely exciting when you obtain another one. Though it can be very heavy on grinding through lvls to get enough gems to do a pull, it still gives many options for free progression. Would recommend if you like slow climbing games that are gocha induced. P.S. - The game seems to crash when trying to open it via phone. Hope it gets fixed soon. I am looking forward to playing the new event. Thank you!

I really enjoy the gameplay, and the art style is fantastic. What really hurts this game is their monetization. For a lot of the items, you can purchase them with the currency you earn in-game. However, for the best items or Gatcha items with the best probabilities of units/arks you want, you need to use crystals that you have to purchase with real money. They don't even separate the in-game crystals with the purchased ones. It makes no sense to do this other than to strong arm you to spend.

It's a great game the art is beautiful and the game play is smooth and fun. Really feels like your doing and the story is decent. But not a bit fan of how much the MC is bullied in almost every cut scene. And the amounts of cool units to get are few. And the chances of even getting a new unit is lower. And personally wish there was more personal units that can be added to a party instead of just 3. Besides that the game is great and have lots to do!

The game is good. But there are various things that need to get fixed. First of all, the dialogue needs a bit of work and I have noticed when it's loading it's relatively slow. The game also tends to lag quite a bit and during the battles the units move by themselves even when auto mode is off. And randomly auto mode will turn on which is annoying. And the battles themselves need to run a lot of smoother. Over all alot needs to be fixed in this app. Once that happens I will rate higher.

This is surprisingly one of my favorite games I've ever played. addictive, and kinda complex/overwhelming at first as to what to do.. but I like the freedom to focus on certain events. Like the Devil May Cry collab is awesome. I'd like to see others! But I have 1 huge problem I'd love to be able to fix! It seems After playing for an extended period of time, my phone will just freeze. Cant do anything. Til Then it ends up shutting my phone off completely after 5 mins of frozen..

A nice game with great art and visuals. The gameplay is fast-paced and seems complex but it's really simple. The arcs are a interesting thing, it gives units stat boost and abilities. Story is not of a masterpiece but it occasionally catches my attention. The main problem I can see with this is the grinding. It does take time to grind in order to get stronger. Getting new units is not that bad but the good ones are just a lucky chance. Nice game if you have some patience with grinding.

The game overall is great. However, the difficulty indicators need a vast change. One stage with a 3 star difficulty has level 11 mobs and is fairly easy to complete, while another stage with the same 3 star difficulty has level 55 mobs. I dont think the mob levels necessarily need adjustment, but the stages need a much better indication of the actual difficulty. Also, the 10+ difficulty indicators need to be tweaked, as the slightly larger stars are not visually different enough to indicate it.

This game is amazing. Of course, all games will have their shortcomings, but in terms of mobile games this is the one I've stuck with the longest. You can truly build your characters however you want, even if it doesn't make sense. That level of freedom isn't available in many games, and combine that with the fantastic art style and constant events, it's absolutely worth playing.
