*update 2 months later* still not usable. Used to order from and shop here regularly. It was so convenient. But it most definitely isn't anymore. So i can count on one hand the times I've shopped kroger in the last month. It used to be 2-3+ times a week. Not even usable anymore. Takes 2 yrs for anything to load. Whatever y'all did when you added the new view for ads, which totally sucks btw, messed up the app.

This app is so frustrating! 1. Everytime I search for a product to add to my list, it takes 30+ sec. to load. 2. When I'm in the store, my list gets cut in half. Half is organized and the other half is "aisle may vary" and the items are not specialty items, they're normal things with physical places where they belong like milk, eggs, cereal 3. I can't keep a list of "regulars", the things you buy every week so I often forget to put things on my list. I have more, but I'm at my character limit

Update: App almost unusable now. The "How are you shopping" pop up seems to have broken the remaining parts of the app that were still working. Every page takes several minutes to load. Close to having to go elsewhere all together due to the time wasted. Kroger! Fix this. Multiple people are having the same issues if you read the recent reviews. And I don't want to call in; just fix the app. I have had to uninstall and reinstall twice now to fix bugs 😣.

Every update. App gets slower and slower... Seems every update to improve the app is making it shower. The app is trying to do way to much data mining, searching, doing somthing in app is now like being in slow motion. Item/ Coupon searching was fast, now it takes way too much time searching. I give up searching waiting on it to find an item or coupon often.

Edit: 6/6/24 - Updated again. This app signs me out almost everytime I use it. I even have the box checked to stay signed in. This has become so annoying that I don't even wish to use the app. Edit: 2/19/24 - Over the years, the app has changed so much that I now find it user UNfriendly. I have to search for where to find things, and now they have it where you must download a sale coupon for items you see in store. Those are not on sale without downloading the coupon for that specific sale.

Love that we can order free curbside pick up through the app, but for some reason, 9 times out of 10, a few items that we ordered will disappear from the list and thus not be included in our order. But there's no way to know what item(s) this happens to until after we pick up our groceries, because it appears just fine on the app all the way through to the order being placed (it's not an issue of something being out of stock - we're informed when that happens). Really hope this can be fixed!

This app is terrible! When setting 'how to shop', the setting is removed at each new product view, and the listings don't always filter correctly. The add to cart button doesn’t always work. At times, when clicking on a product, it will generate a different one. I could keep going. I'll just use a different store to schedule pick up or delivery.

Slowest app I've ever seen. Upon opening the app the "loading" icon spins sometimes for 2 minutes before the app opens. When adding items to my grocery list, each item takes a long time to appear and get added to my shopping list. I've tried clearing the app's cache and Uninstaller and reinstalling it with no change. This is the only app that does this, all others run fine and fast.

I love that I can clip coupons in the app and have them automatically applied at checkout. I just wish the filtering in the coupons worked properly. There is an option to show in-store coupons only, but that option lists 0 coupons. So I have to look through all the coupons and it isn't always easy to tell from the short description whether it is a pickup or delivery only coupon. It is frustrating to see a deal on items you want only to realize it is only pickup or delivery.

I enjoy the app. It's nice to have the option of choosing or turning off the pick-up and delivery coupons at the bottom of the page. I would like to have more control to opt out of the baby and animal foods, for instance. I've tried several combinations of department lists and categories but have been unsuccessful in filtering those coupons well. Still, it's a handy app and provides lots of savings. Finding on-sale foods helps in planning a varied menu.

This app just keeps getting worse and worse. Lagging, bugs, failure to load, couponsnor loading, the list goes on. The pharmacy redirecting to the web page is the worst! It doesn't work half of the time and the multi-factor authenticating is useless and horrible! You can't turn it off, you can't change it to text message, and it never sends the email most of the time. And no, Kroger-bot, the emails aren't in my spam folder, nor do I need to un-install and reinstall it for a third time.

A good idea with bad execution. Menu is scattered with difficult to follow paths . A simplified menu would be optimal. I just want a button for "shop", "sales", "coupons". And maybe fuel points. Everything else should be in drop down menu. I clip coupons and then can't find where they are (easily). Eventually I do find them, but it is definitely easy to lose my place again finding my shopping list isn't simple enough either.

The weekly ads do not show up in the app. For over a year, the weekly ads tab in the app has said, "It looks like something went wrong. Let's try to get those deals again. " and does not refresh. I've updated the app, changed location, and uninstalled and re-download everything. It makes me feel like they're trying to hide the deals so I "accidentally" miss something and buy a full price option instead.

User interface isn't intuitive and seems to change often. The worst "feature " is that if the latest version isn't installed while you're in the store, you're out of luck. The app tells you to go update and not work. Not handy for last minute trips to the store. When it works and the interface is figured out, product locations in the store are accurate.

I would really love to give this app a good review but the majority of the time I can't login or I get a "Webpage Not Available" error message. Also, between numerous customer service calls; uninstalling, reinstalling the app and deleting all it's data; restarting the device; app, device, security and software updates; soft and hard resets; we are still back to square one and no further ahead. Three different devices, same problem, no solution yet. Unfortunately, still waiting for a fix.

App CONSTANTLY needs updated or it cannot be used. Never seen an app that needs updated as often. Very annoying! Being computer literate, this is by far the most confusing app ive ever used. So much navigation required just for buying food. And it gets worse with every update. I try to only download coupons for the week and exit the app asap. Its way over the top with confusion all the way around.

Update: after uninstalling and reinstalling the app, the issues I was experiencing resolved. It works great - fast and easy to use!! 5 stars! It's so helpful for grocery pickup...when it works. It takes 1-2 minutes to populate search results for one item. I've also added 20+ things to my cart, gone to my cart, and everything disappeared. I hope there is a fix coming soon because it used to be so helpful.
