Cool idea, but: 1)The game is not responsive enough so when you play blitz or bullet it is not nearly as optimal as it should be and you always start a few second off your clock. 2) This game should never affect your rating on the real chess,com account, **THIS IS A BIG NO NO**. You can use the chess,com ratings for matchmaking but never affect them. 3) There is not enough clarity as to how the game works. It looks good and it has potential, but first I would fix the gameplay & rating issue

I've been waiting for an update for a while. Can't progress further, the bots are too easy and for some reason there aren't daily puzzles.

Still quite a few bugs... RNG is broken now, I can't get missing items in the puzzle piece store now. Can't choose board and piece customization.

A base construction game focused on chess seemed interesting but it feels very incomplete to me. I don't like that playing other players requires you to bet resources and is required to progress your kingdom. The customization of your kingdom and character of extremely lacking. Overall this feels like a good idea but also like a first draft of a game that needs 80% more work before it becomes worth spending time on. Just go play chess on their site or elsewhere, don't waste your time on this.

Educational, but levels are designed to have long pointless builds. There's some bonus skins with puzzle solving and leveling up. But there's a BUG that makes me lose the skins whenever I changed my avatar. What's the point. The Review feature could be a lot better if it tells you which move is better than the one you made ( rather than just best, excellent, good, mistake, or blunder)

The game freezes roughly one in every four games. When it does, it normally freezes within the first dozen or so moves. The opponent's time continues to run down to 0.00, but it is counted as a loss for you. I would love the game if that didn't happen, but it does too much damage to my ratings, to lose one in four games because it freezes. And it is also extremely annoying each time it happens, which takes away much of the joy of using the app, no matter how good it is the rest of the time.

App won't load. Progress bar stops at 34%. How does testing miss something that big?

The idea of the game is great and I really like that the bots' ratings grow in small increments. What I don't like is that you get the best possible move in review, without being shown the following moves, which kinda defeats the purpose of learning. Later edit: one bug I just discovered: if you review the same bot game multiple times, the results (in terms of accuracy, # of best moves, # of blunders) is always different.

Didn't mind this app -- but it doesn't work for me since the latest update. Loading freezes at 55% every time I open it. 4 stars when it does work.

After the update, once you click into the game, nothing loads. None of the different buildings, shops, or puzzles.

Launched a massive update before 4th of July then everyone leaving for holiday. It is hilarious such a situation may be allowed to occur at some places. I haven't played a single game since then and realized I now have an extra hour for other things everyday 😂

Overall experience is great but add-ons for puzzles, such as clues, for free to play users are extremely limited. A pc version of the app with cross save is also missing.

Focus more on bug fixing than on UI/new clothes... resigns/time loss are counted as draws. The animations/transitiona take a lot of time - i always start the game with 4-6 seconds off the clock & quinning a pawn takes ar least 4 seconds- for a bullet game this is not good at all - better to remove bullet at all from the app. trophies can not be achieved once you get to gold I and i cannot down rank even if i lose 10-15 games in a row.... UX not existing.... shop is not loading from time to time.

Good idea, but it doesn't run snappily enough for a chess player. I've lost multiple games because the game takes too long to send my move to the server and I lose on time. When you're in a time scramble you don't want to lose because your little avatar has to emote and dance and it causes some latency (or whatever causes it)

i finally got the game to start and it is fun, it's like clash of clans mixed with chess. however the game has so many downfalls such as starting the game before you load in so you already start with less time. the review feature is a crapshoot it works when it wants to. also it's confusing trying to figure out where everything is.

A fun new way to introduce people to chess and stay interested. Serious chess players may find it kind of tedious. I do find collecting scrolls being blocked by a paywall a little too early on. At least one or 2 castle upgrades should be available before having to be day limited by a paywall, but I understand this is a new concept and it'll take some time to reach it's full potential. Loving it so far for speed chess. If you are worrying about losing rating I'd stick with the main app/site.

Would be awesome if not for two major bugs. Checkmate opponent and time keeps going. Had to close app to fix. Also, waited 8+ minutes for opponent to time out only to be stuck with them at 0:00 and upon relaunch, lost ELO. Puzzles look like they'll get good after upgrades. Cool idea here but have to fix the issues with game conclusion.

The concept has a ton of potential, but some of the features provided could be better executed. The Review feature should show engine lines based on the best move available vs. the move you made. Also, a bug; if while playing, you make a Pawn move to check the enemy King, the game will not allow you to continue IF en passant is a possible move in response. The AI does not respond and you are essentially stuck (opposing humans are unable to make a move in this case as well). Please fix!

The idea is great but the app is full of bugs. My rapid rating was 400 and my blitz rating around 1290. I played the 1st game in rapid and took my blitz rating. It doesn't make any sense and on chesscom It doesn't happen. Every update I need to uninstall and reinstall the app because my character disappear. They continue to update my avatar as female but I'm a male. I could continue for one hour about all the bugs. Update July 5th: now the new bug is in the training camp the amount of money
