I love this apps guided prayers and audiobook availability, and the translation is correct according to my physical copy. However, I can not give this app more than 2 stars as the ads are out of control. Someone needs to look carefully at the ads you give because I opened my bible app at church (I forgot my physical copy at home), and the add I get sitting next to my friends is an AI porn app ad. I'm fine with ads, but there are so many and are very inappropriate. (Happened again,so I lowered it

Before the last few months, this was great! I absolutely loved my walk with Jesus after completing the prayer, but the commercials have completely ruined that. Speaking of ads, there's been some very questionable ones popping up. Nothing I have ever searched before, so I know it's not the algorithm. I REALLY liked this app before all the ads. My phone has started putting this app into 'Deep Sleep' because it says it now uses too much power. If these can be resolved, I would bump up to 5 stars!

I utilize this app a lot and think it's great. However, I had to give it a 3 for now because somehow, it keeps changing the settings on its own. I have it set to be unrestricted, but it will change over itself to optimize my battery power and then go to sleep, and I stop getting notifications. I have fixed this many times, but it keeps doing it

Update 1/4/24 The ads are ridiculous. Everytime you read a page an ad pops up and you can't clear it with the X. My husband just deleted his version and is trying another. I may follow if he likes it. I understand the desire to earn money with the ads, but there WAAAY to many and it takes too long. 😔 While some were inappropriate, I believe it's gotten better but won't hesitate to let you know about any future offensive material.

Great app for praying twice daily. I sometimes don't like being forced to open the app to get the notification out of my way. Wish there were other translations easier to understand. I like removing the ads for a dollar a month. I don't like the pop up encouragement that says perfect week or pious whatever. I'm dead. I can't stand when the prayer I read disappears and is replaced with something else. I want to go back to it but can't.

The app is amazing, and I love it; however, I've noticed there's a new devotion writer lately whose word is great but she tends to write half of the devotion under the prayer section instead of an actual prayer. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but it's definitely not usual and kind of throws me off when I'm reading it cause it's not as expected over the past few years. Please inform the new devotion writer, Chipo Biti, of the correct way to write out devotion and prayer in their areas.

I have been using this app for about a year now. It's a wonderful app. I love the devotional part. The new devotional writers are awesome. I believe since you're putting so many ads, you should allow more space for the devotional writers and do away with the prayer at the end of the devotional. Just a thought. Another thing I noticed. In the study Bible part. Lately, there have been questions asked that's not a part of the Bible. No more space to give an example.

Update #2: My phone keeps throwing this app into deep sleep saying it is "sending too many notifications and slowing down my device", which kills my widget :( Update #1: uninstalling and reinstalling fixes this issue. I am having the same issue many others are having right now: the app will start and I'll see the ad, but after that it has the welcome message and will go no further. Can't get it to do anything else :(. I loved this app before it went down.

Well, when I first downloaded the app, it was awesome. Now, along with other people, I'm sitting through ads, but I'm able to "click" the x-button and get out of the ad. But now my issue is that I can only listen for 10 minutes at a time before it shuts off. Then I have to reopen the app, go through the ads once again, then click on the previous scripture that I was listening to, just to listen for 10 minutes again, when I used to be able to listen all day at work. Please fix this.

I'd like to give a higher rating because I really like the content & functionality of the app. The problem is the overwhelmingly excessive ads. Almost every feature starts & finishes with a video app. On opening the app, the first thing you get is a video ad before you can get to any of the features. I understand the financial reasons for advertisers, but this is extreme. There has to be a better way to go ad-free. For financial security, I do not save credit card info on certain sites.

I ❤️it! It's engaging & easy to navigate, it keeps track of your progress & the medals do give a little push of motivation. I love that the morning & night prayer have the reminder. It also reminds me of my desire to read & learn more. There is only one thing I don't like. If you can't pay you got lots of ads (no biggie) but every couple ads you get 1 that even after watching the entire 54+ sec it won't let you close it. You have to close the entire app & reopen it to continue.

Why so many long ads ? Not only are there long ads, but you can't even get out of the ads once they've run their course!! I literally have to close out the bible ad and then reopen it again just to watch ANOTHER AD!! It's ridiculous!! Update to response...that's the issue... when i go to click the "X" in the upper right corner to exit the ad, it won't exit me out of the ad. That's been the ongoing issue.

Previously gave a 5 star rating back in 2018. Upadte 2023/2024. The ads are too long and come at the worst time. When I use it to get to the Bible verse while in church, here comes an ad.. when first started using the application, it was great. It had ads but they were short. Now we have 2 long ads all at once. The alarm has stopped working, and i have done everything that has been suggested. There is still no alarm.I am about ready to give up and try another.

Everytime I click anything in app I get an ad, and long ones to. It's very unfortunate because this app could really help people come off addiction and get closer to God. It's a very cool design and I think it would motivate people in the right direction.!! (If it wasn't for the ads). As an android user, I will have to uninstall this app. Great concept. Just to many ads.!!

This app has helped me on my journey knowing the Lord. Easy to use, daily and nightly prayers, daily inspiration, and quotes. Quizzes. Great features allow you to highlight different passages in different colors and insert bookmarks and notes throughout the bible. It also keeps track of how much time you spend so you know how often you are in scripture. The best app online.

This app allows me to save certain verses by highlighting and taking notes. I would have given it a 5 star before but now it's riddled with ads (that aren't even consistent with the word once it was a dating app with a girl twerking). It has started glitching and will just randomly cut out when I'm reading (I deleted and reinstalled which worked for awhile now it's back). It also keeps asking me to allow it permission to certain areas on my phone IT'S A BIBLE APP that doesn't make sense.

If "Bible" was the default option, this would be a better app, IMHO. I'll be trying to look up a verse, but must get past the pictures & the scriptures the app has chosen for me to see before I can find 'my' verse... sometimes I can't even remember what I was looking for by the time the app allows me to choose "Bible" and then look it up, if I remember what it was.
