I love being able to listen to the bible when I'm unable to read it. There's a night/day feature. You can change the size of the text. My favorite part is that it plays through a whole book from the first screen and doesn't shut off when you push the home button, use another app, ergo to the lock screen. No glitches. Doesn't crash. I haven't received any annoying notifications. I haven't been using it that long though.

This ap is so much better than the previous that I downloaded. The only problem that I have experienced so far is it suddenly stops and shuts off before even completing a verse of scripture. Frankly, I am not sure whether the problem lies with the app or my phone. The audio is Extremely clear and the reader's voice bekcons the listener to keep reading the Bible. Superb reading and articulation!

Even though I was able to access the book and chapter I wanted to read once I got the app, I loved it. The reader has a great voice, he speaks clearly and at just the right speed and his pronunciation ID super. HOWEVER, I have not been able to get anything else. No sound, no text, nothing. I have Uninstaller and reinstalled the app numerous times and still can't get anything. I would like to rate the app at the top but at this point I can only rate it at the lowest. Could someone contact me?

It would be great if the nighttime setting could be set. Right now, the nighttime setting resets to daytime when you use the arrow keys to page from one chapter to the next. Also, if you're having difficulties updating this app (as I did recently), try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. That was the only way that I could get the most recent updated version.

There was no issues in Jan 2022, since many updates since, it has become unusable. Phone discharges fast, overheats, and after a couple of chapters, will turn off, using audio. Why fix something, not broken? The more the app has been worked on these past months, the worse it has gotten. Moving to another app. I wish you well. Best thing, restore it back to later version in 2021, that would fix it, then leave it alone.

Very good. the voice author is very clear and pronounced very well. it makes a huge difference being able to hear the correct pronunciation of words and names, it helps me understand better and remember better. it's not read too fast or too slow. I wish there was a read along mode that automatically scrolled but for now I can read along myself. thank you for such a good free app. Updated: could you please add a save feature for when you're listening? So you're not guessing where you left off.

Good app... The voice reading is nice and loud, his enunciation is great, I didn't even need earbuds. I didn't have a single problem using the app. There's always a pop-up ad, and you have to hit your go back button to skip past that, but that's the day and age we live in. Come to think of it, the voice sounds an awful lot like Alexander Scourby, although I didn't find his name mentioned so far in the app. If you're not familiar with him, he's pretty well the recognized standard.

I very much appreciate being able to have a free version of the Audio Bible. I like the voice of the narrator. But I desperately wish it would save my spot. I can be in the middle of Kings, dont really know what verse or chapter. I pause it for 5 minutes and it reverts back to Genesis 1. 😫 I wish there was a way to bookmark where I am at. Its very frustrating.

I love this app & have been listening to it since 2019. Recently, I've been experiencing problems with it playing II Chronicles 23 through the end of the Book of Chronicles. It also wouldn't play the end of the Book of Ezra, but that seems to be corrected. I sincerely hope they fix this problem as I love the app. If it wouldn't be for the current problems, it's 5 star without a doubt.

The audible feature was good. When my eyes got tired I could listen to the speaker. I do not like the update version. I was listening to the audio and suddenly it stopped in the middle of a verse and would not continue. I had been using this app for a few years, now I may need to find another audio format. I really liked it before the change.

I like it, but dont like it. I actually enjoyed the dramatic audible reading version over the regular one. It sounds peaceful, relaxing, and I can multitask while listening! However, that moment of peace and comfort of listening is abruptly interrupted by showing (sinful) garbage from Instagram and wherever else. Talk about a mood killer!

Great app for listen to the Bible. Speakers voice is excellent, word pronunciation is exceptional which teaches you to pronounce names in the Bible. Only draw back is pop-up which are a nuisance and some are hard to get out of. You have to physically go from one chapter to the next which isn't a big deal but it would be great if it read until you told it to stop. It doesn't keep your place when you close the add but I can deal with that also. I would have rated it a 5 if it wasn't for adds.

Disappointed. I thought this was the KJV app. I had previously. That app also had a search field to utilize if you weren't sure of the book, chapter or verse. For example: if you were "babe" in Christ & unfamiliure with The Word. Yet, you did know part of a sentence, a phrase or just a word; you could use a search bar that would list all the places where it appeared (if it appeared) in the Old & New Testement. Thank you.

I'm a great reader; this man is also a great reader. I particularly enjoy his style. As he reads (he pauses and emphasizes words at the right places); He gives you time to think about what you're hearing, thus giving the hearer time to learn. A wonderful app. The best I've found in 10+ years. 02-06-22.. Today there is nothing I can add to what I've already said. If I found one fault it would be that the ads are distracting and annoying during my really Special time alone with Yahuah Elohim. Thx

I really like that you can choose between the dramatized and non dramatized versions. You can easily choose which book you would like to listen to. Yes, the free version has ads, but that's what makes it free! I was looking for an audio version and went through three other bible apps before I found this one. I'm trying to save you the trouble!

This app worked very well in the past. My android doesnt have much memory so i removed the app a few months back. However now i reloaded and it will not work/start. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled multiple times. And restarted my phone as well. Still nothing. Very disappointed. I hate other kj apps. To many adds and takes over phone. I like yours. But will not start.

The app completely stopped working. Nothing. It has froze. Nothing works. I have deleted and reinstalled numerous times. Finally, just had to leave it deleted. Sad, because I listened to it every night. Would love to be able to reinstall the app if it worked. The above review was correct at the time. Yesterday (12/17/2022) I decided to try to download the app one more time to see if the problem was fixed and it was! This is the best audio bible app that I have used. I pray it keeps working!

Great App! I love that I can choose to read or listen. The ads aren't too bad. They only seem to.pop up when you open a recording. My only word of caution is IF you decide to purchase the app, the reader is different :-(. I didn't care for the "new" reader so I deleted the app and reinstalled the free version.

Excellent app. I like being able to select individual chapters to listen to rather than having to hear a whole book. I like this narrators reading voice, and appreciate the absence of Music in the background. UPDATE: last couple months ads have become very intrusive. Last week or two they are HORRIBLE! Loud, and hard to find a way out of them. Back arrow doesn't work. Ready to delete the app. Last ad caused phone to not respond to anything I tried to do to get out of it!! Way too aggressive!!

When I am reading the Bible, it is sometimes hard for me to get the context of some sentences. This app fixes all of that for me! The gentleman reading, is a wonderful reader, and I can keep up with what is actually happening verses spending so much time trying to figure it out. Wonderful app!
