Edit: dropping to one star. App doesnt work, it just loops, cancels the order and makes me start over. No option for help and qll payment methods do this. I dont have this issue with any other app. App works for one of the two local locations, any order placed at the second is either rejected or loops and then cancels. This has been an issue for over a year now. App has a very small selection of meals to order and feels behind most other apps in features.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Extremely buggy and unreliable, but I'll come back and add stars when it improves. My current error is that trying to make an order just produces a blank white screen. The menu won't appear, and I can't seem to select a location, either. UPDATE: As the devs said, the error has been resolved, so I've added a star for the fix and prompt reply. KFC was slow to get into the app game, but I think they're gonna keep getting better.

Overall, one of the better fast food apps I have experienced. It actually works well and is easy to navigate. The buttons are too big and so are the photos. The biggest problem is the coupons/rewards either don't save you any money or are not something that is actually wanted/desirable. A discount on something I don't want, is pointless. Also lots of upcharges for certain customizations, so you basically end up paying a la carte price. Good convenience, bad discounts

I was surprised several months ago to find that KFC did NOT have an app, so I was pleasantly surprised last week to see that KFC now has one. For overall functionality, the basics of placing and paying for an order, it's fine. It needs more options for various combinations and customizing of orders. Right now it only has their main, standard "combos" and ala carte individual items. For example, I typically order only the chicken and biscuit with no sides or drink. This isn't an option in the app. I also like to get a mix of original and crispy in a single order. The app only allows one or the other. I also had issues as some others described. I ordered for ASAP pickup. The app said pickup was IN store. Even when I got there the signs AT the store said to go inside for mobile pickups. But the lobby was locked (after I actually parked and walked up only to find it locked), so I had to go through the drive-through. Luckily in my case the drive-through only had 1 other car in front of me. But even when it was my turn, I still had to wait a bit to get my order even though the app said it was "ready." As do most other restaurant mobile ordering apps, it should give the option to pickup either in store or via drive through (and curb-side would be a great option too, but not required). AND, if the store lobby is closed, then the app needs to block off the in-store pickup when ordering. The McDonald's mobile app does this.

I'll cut right to it, if you want to do anything more than the most basic of orders then this app is garbage. Half of the menu isn't available in the app most of the time, you can't change your drink or side order size in combos or meals (hardly unique to this app, but it's a major frustration for fast food apps), and the pricing mostly seems disconnected from whatever the selected restaurant has set. At least it seems to actually work most of the time unlike some fast food apps like Sonic's.

Oof. Absolute garbage. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted my phone, tried another phone, you name it. I've tried 3 separate times over a few months. All I get is the "THAT AIN'T RIGHT" screen and jack all else. Real bummer, because I would love to enjoy the occasional KFC treat, but all the other fast food restaurant apps actually work and offer all sorts of coupons. I wish the Colonel would hurry and "resolve this issue."

It shouldn't be a PITA to order online. Plus my husband beat me to the KFC I was trying to order from online. When he read off what I had selected more the 2 items wasn't even available yet it was listed. This has happened more than once. I have deleted the app and started using the online menu option that way my husband can pick up our order for our dinner once he's home.

The app itself is really good! A lot of App Exclusive Offers that is really great; no need to wait for coupons in the mail. One thing I don't like though, you can't get reward points with your receipt. Sometimes you're in a rush and just want to order through the drive through, you don't get those points credited in your KFC Rewards.

I'm very unsatisfied. Whenever I try to open the app, nothing happens most of the time. And even when it does work, using it for rewards isn't helpful. Unlike other apps like Panda Express, where you can upload your receipt to get rewards, this one takes up too much space on my phone. I couldn't even place an order, and it's painfully slow. I had to express how bad it is before uninstalling it.

I've only been able to successfully place an order once. Every other time I've tried,Ive had problems. I can't order anything without being forced to use the default options;can't choose sides or drink. The only way that I can add to bag is to click on the option as soon as I click on an item. Otherwise,I get no option to add to bag. Really an annoyance! I really like that the points build quickly,though.

Just updated this app. Was glad to see they now have rewards. But that doesn't do much good if you can't open the app. Some weird thing where they send you a link to sign in. Half the time the link doesn't come and when it does you get in a loop where it keeps wanting to send a link. After many attempts I finally was able to open the app and was signed in. (without a password.) So I thought I was good to go. Until I closed the app and tried to open it again. Whole mess started all over!

Unable to use Reward Points even though I have enough. For example I tried to redeem 500 points for a Chicken Sandwich, and when pressing the redeem button, it begins to load, then the redeem button reappears again and nothing gets added to the cart. The location I frequently visit has posters all over the windows to join the rewards program, so they are definitely participating. No one at that location understands why it does not work either. No one has been able to redeem points there.

I have use this app several times at our old house. But once we moved, I can't place any order. It doesn't allow to update the credit card details on file (the zip code for the cRd changed once we moved). I cannot delete cards on file (only change the "name"). And I cannot add the same card a second time under a different "name" (since the old one fails for improper zip code). Now the app is effectively junk...

Collect rewards! Just won't let you use them. Not a one off thing, first time I thought I messed up, but you can select a reward (in this instance a famous bowl with drink) for 750. I had 860 points. You can click the big red redeem button for an hour and all you get is "please wait..." Before it returns to "redeem". But it won't add it to your cart. Otherwise fast service but the app not working properly = -3 stars. (Yes, I cleared cache and even reinstalled... Twice)

The app used to be easy to login to. Now I have to enter my email in the app, switch to my email client to click the link (sending me to my browser), then FINALLY clicking a button to get back to the app. Way more complex than most other apps. I addition, the last order I made on this didn't mention the store was closed, and there is no way to cancel the order in the app. Hopefully I won't be charged for it. I will delete the app in a few minutes and not go back to KFC for quite some time.

Great so far, could be better. The app is great. The only problem is that you can't customize your order. My family likes a mix of crispy and original but the app doesn't let you mix them. Doesn't let you pick the chicken pieces either, I personally like more thighs than drumsticks. I'll give it more stars when I can customize my bucket of chicken on the app.

The login process doesn't work. I've used the app frequently since its inception and now I can't login at all. Usually I never even receive the authentication email. When I do get the email and click on the link it loads the app and just hangs on a white screen. Even if it did work, it would be an annoying process. Very disappointing. Now I get Publix fried chicken.
