After installing the app, select your primary language and the language you are learning. Choose from the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese Cantonese (Traditional), Chinese Mandarin (Simplified), Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Kurdish Kurmanji, Low German, Malay, Myanmar, Nahuatl (Central), Persian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.
HOME
• Receive encouragement to learn new words with featured content and activities
• Access recently viewed categories
PHRASES
• Play phrase audio in any language without downloading (while connected to the Internet)

• Learn useful vocabulary with pictures

ACTIVITIES

It's a good application. The only problem is, The moment i start using the application it automatically downloads all audio files into my music gallery, which i don't want. Even after deleting the audio files.. I come back to see over hundreds of audio files again. Please do something about it. Thank you.

Its always been a mostly positive experience. However I have recently found that when I highlight text from Examining the Scriptures Daily, those highlights don't remain. For some reason the highlights from the previously always disappear. I to highlight and it stays. It's always just the previous days text that disappears. I don't I'm more if this an app issue or if it's related to my Google account as I have the same issue on my tablet as my phone.

My experience has been excellent. Really love the 'activity' part of the learning process (it does not judge your retention and memory - it is a tool for you personally to use), but it doesn't randomize the tests enough (it repeats a test a lot).

Excellent way to learn key expressions in a variety of the world's most used languages. The variety of activities to help you practice are effective for learning. Listen to videos to hear a native speaker. I notied a bug with the audio... sometimes it doesn't play anything, and sometimes when i open the app it does.

Please update the korean language and it has two types of numbers one is sino-korean and the other is native korean numbers.

Brothers, this is an excellent app and very beneficial. The only problem is some of the audio is trimmed too short so that certain words are incompletely pronounced. For example in Vietnamese and Mandarin. Others too, but all in all an excellent app designed to save lives. Also, unlike the JW Library app, there is no way to prevent the screen from auto-rotating when using.

I had a problem with this app taking about half a minute to open. I had to uninstall it because of a lack of space on my device, but when I downloaded it again, the loading times were fixed, and now it opens as quickly as JW Library. This is just a tip for those who might have this problem (and also something the developers may want to look into, though maybe the problem was caused by some obsolete buggy version that was somehow still affecting me, who knows). Worth the five stars now though.

Mine after downloading, it doesn't get past the "choose a language you want to learn page" then it closes the a pop up say "Jw Language keeps stopping" appears why? Please do something.

Thank you for the app. Though in this release, the font colours do blend in to the background making it difficult to navigate.

Just take a look at the pictures in the examples section below :) The app also downloads new data really quickly, and the download all section is the biggest example of this :)

Persistent issues with app on android devices. Wonderful program when it works, but I've had issues on both tablets and phones that run on Android. I recently tried to download on a new android phone, and the app does not display primary language options or languages to learn upon first opening. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times without success.

Excellent app. I really like the feature where I can passively view flashcards while doing something else. It has a way to learn for everybody. Great way to get familiar with Biblical terms for someone trying to learn a second language. Has helped me a lot with Spanish. The only thing that would help a lot is a daily reminders option, but not a big deal since I put a Google reminder. Keep up the great work Brothers.

I have found this app to be very helpful in learning proper sentence structure, phrases, and useful terminology. I really like the sample exercises and how different examples are generated if you choose to stay within the exercise to really test your knowledge & retention of what you've just learned. This is a well developed, helpful tool. Thank you for making learning practical, fun and interactive.

Wonderful app, I use it to study for my meetings in Korean. However, I have one suggestion as to what could be done to improve the app. For example, when I try to search the Korean word 견해 (opinion), it doesn't appear in the results. But if I search 견해를 (opinion (noun) + object marker) it appears because the results only show exactly how its written in a sentence. Please consider making it easier to find a word in its basic form for easier lookup. Thank you Brothers and Sisters ❤️

So grateful to Jehovah for such a wonderful gift. It's not easy to learn another language but this is absolutely what we needed. Update 5/14/2024 The app continues to crash on my new Samsung Galaxy S24+. I deleted the data before uninstalling and reinstalling it but it's not working. It skips the part of language selection. When i try to go to its settings to try to select the language that way it doesn't even show the settings menu it just crashes. Please fix!
