It's a great app until recently, it takes care of all I need in shopping, from paying bills to flight and hotel booking but recently the app is a mess, it keeps shutting down when you launch the app, at first, I thought it was a device problem, I uninstalled it and reinstalled, no improvements, am used to the app but it's very disappointing now, please fix the bug

This app is superb. I applied a couple of minutes ago as a first-timer, and the loan amount I applied for is already in my account, in seconds. No collateral, no documentation or whatsoever. Just a NGN 5 charge to bind my card, that's all. God bless the developers of this app. After going through so many apps with very frustrating conditions attached to the loan application, I FINALLY discovered a VERY RELIABLE app with affordable interest rate and payment period. APP IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Poorly made app. It cannot connect to the internet anymore. I updated it. It's still not connecting to the internet. When the app opens it shows "there seems to be an issue please try again". The devepers are not ready to fix the connection problem in the app. It seems the replies to people's comments are from some Artificial Intelligence robots. They keep stating the same thing.

The experience with this app is getting progressively worse. Card details can't be saved anymore meaning users have to continuously type in card details for every transaction. The OTPs fail sometimes. And many transactions fall through. I'm at that point where I'm seriously considering abandoning ship and seeking alternative apps.

The app isn't very reliable for when you need to buy data, especially for someone that uses MTN for data connection. The network isn't the problem cus all other apps still work fine online. I just think it's an effort that's put in not to open the app. Except from that it's a very good app and one of the best online shopping platforms out there. Fix the issue and get 5 stars!

This is the worst and lowest that any app can get. It just doesn't matter how many times you try paying for an item/a set of items using the JumiaPay (or even the Jumia Online Shopping app itself), you just can't get past clicking on “Pay.” When, after a hundred attempts, you finally succeed, you just could never receive your OTP to finalize the purchase. This payment problem has persisted for so long, I finally have to get rid of everything Jumia and find some other online market platform. 😡

The card I've used for more than a year on the platform suddenly stopped working. Contacted them for resolution after checking with my bank and that is where I had the most horrible customer support experience EVER! Sent an email replying to all their request but they claimed to have 'resolved' the challenge. Despite sending several emails that it has not been resolved, more than 5 days l , I've not gotten reply again. The worst customer support EVER!

Worst support ever! Have a problem in completing transactions, contacted them on Messenger they referred me to get support through the app, only has email and phone, sent email and got a response asking for more info and another one that the case was closed. They wouldn't reply back. Tried the phone, the IVR extension closes the phone call. What am I supposed to do? Was nice while it lasted.

This app was great before, but something terrible happened to it. Whoever changed the design of the app needs to be hanged or something. Jesus Christ, this app became the worst nightmare I ever had. Buying airtime is so hard and takes so long. I can't authorise payment with my fingerprint, and I'm sure my 4 year old can design something more beautiful than this. Bad all across the board. I have to manually type my password all the time before buying airtime. Zero stars if possible.

It was good at first, then eventually it started glitching. They market it as a fast bill payment platform but the transactions take over 24 hours to process after the money has been deducted from your account. Bought airtime and that happened, bought my prepaid, same thing. What's the point of buying airtime from the app of you can't use it when you need to. It's become trash honestly and I'm disappointed because I'd gotten so accustomed to doing everything on this platform.

I'm editing this review cause over the years I've become so accustomed to everything jumia, not to talk of how i prefer making payments on it. It almost feels like I'm an agent 😅 One highlight is the rate at which they refund funds on failed transactions like it's an amazing thing. There's always room for more improvement though, one of which is the inclusion of the IBEDC electricity bill payment.

For about 2 weeks now, the "special" vouchers are no longer applying. For example, there's currently BILL15 voucher. I received the email concerning it. It's also right there on the app's homepage. But, when entered, It doesn't get applied. If they won't work for me, stop sending me emails and notifications about the offers. 1 star is generous, until it's done!

The latest update has just made the App more horrible. You go through so much stress to complete a payment. 1. Card details does not safe anymore 2. Logging in got more complicated. First you have to login, then wait for verification code that never comes in if you are using an Airtel line. Should you opt for verification code via call, it takes not less than 20 minutes for the call to come in. Next it request for finger authentication, then OTP. The verification process is just so frustrating.

The recent update is a big mess. User experience is horrible. I can't add voucher code when paying electricity bill anymore. Whenever I login, the system must ask me for my personal details like names, phone numer, birthdate etc. Except for the phone number, I don't even know what you need other information for. I use the app to pay just bills. I haven't requested for loan and don't intend to. So, don't ask for unnecessary personal details until when needed.

The idea for the app is great. There are a lot of features in one place. But unfortunately most don't work properly. I always have to re-log in every time I open the app, it takes me to a whole different page and after all that I don't even get the cash back when I purchase airtime. The process is too much and takes too much time. Also I think there should be a way to deposit into your account, if there is already then there should be a tutorial in the app.

I think the app and the services was great, but I found something quite disappointing. my mastercad expired 2months ago; after I got a replacement from my bank, I haven't been able to add it to my payment settings! I'm only being offered to add verve card or bank transfer methods to my payment method. There's just no way to remove old cards and/or add new ones (of the same type). worse still, I'm yet to get any feedback from their customer care on the complaint I made over the issue. really bad!

COULD BE BETTER. Love the app, lags at times but gets the work done. Also have some connection to the server issues and there is no way to cancel orders that you were unable to complete then start a new one. Had a lot of offers but shaking it gives me some offers that I've never used, It should learn user pattern and give offers in that line. Otherwise, I like it and look forward to the improvements suggested. Thanks.
