Please integrate some i18n modules so volunteer translators can help create a multi-lingual version for foreigners who buy the JRPass

If there's a website in different languages, why does the app only support Japanese?

How unprofessionell . No English function. Also if you want to activate your Jr pass to be able to make seat reservation in advance and plan to your trip you can only activate inside Japan 🤡 great for tourists Also in their travel guide they send you via ups for 10usd with this useless Jr pass vouchers which you need to bring to activate, they recommended several apps but they are all japanese only🤡 How on earth can be something so little thought through??

This app is pretty convineinet for the passengers who want to get the way to the destination. But it would be better providing the service in more languages for visitors from other countries

Installed the app, but did not get far as couldn't read Japanese and could remove it, because I couldn't read Japanese. I had no choice but to uninstall as unusable. I guess it would be a great help to visitors if offered in different languages, but regrettably, not solely in Japanese.

As an app that is recommended to download when travelling to Japan with the JR Pass, it is unfortunate that there is no english setting within the app. Perhaps JR could create another app purely for tourists. Or allow the user's phone to translate on their own, similar to the Universal Studios Japan app. Only has Japanese but allows my phone software to translate straight to english. Otherwise I'm sure the app works as intended.

Used to be a very clean and swift app. After the recent update, it has become a very complicated and dump app. Very difficult to search for a route between stations unless you are a local Japanese and knows exactly the routes and lines of the complicated Japan railway system. Better restore to the previous version, or at least provide the old version as an option.

I'm travelling in Japan now, but lived in Tokyo for 3 years, so I know the transit fairly well. For the most part I found the information in the app was really helpful and I've been using it a lot. But I was surprised at the routes that it recommended because I know of other routes that are more direct and cheaper. For example, to go from Tokyo to Shinjuku the route it recommended was Yamanote line to Akihabara and transfer to Sobu line. When the most direct route is just the Chuo line, with no transfer. There were quite a few examples of odd route choices that makes me wonder how route optimization is being calculated. I noticed comments about how this latest version of the app, including the English version, are a lot less useful than the old one. My guess is that it's been made simpler for the benefit of tourists coming for the 2020 Olympics.

The app seems to have amazing functions for real time updates for my commute and trip planning. But my Japanese isn't good enough to understand it, so I have to waste a lot of time taking screenshots and google translating. Wish it was in English.
