A Monday visit to JL in Cambridge, very quiet which although not great for JL we found it a refreshing change to previous weekend visits. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Couldn't find exactly what was wanted but during a lovely cuppa in the top floor cafe we searched online and found it was still in stock. Placed the order and it is ready for collecting Tuesday after 3pm. Great service in store and online. 🤗

Is anyone else having trouble with the basket? I put items in the basket, the counter above goes up by one item, when I click on the basket it says its empty. Any suggestions?

Constantly have to uninstall and install again. Twice today, not good enough. Works well once you can open it persuade it to open!!!!

It's slow and buggy, and I don't know why I'd want to browse and order things on a mobile phone, but they are so desperate for people to do it, they'll offer vouchers that only work through the app. Bonkers.

Easy to use with the search bars. Always gives great offers. Like the favourite features. Keeps things you've recently looked at the bottom for ease. Generally very user friendly.

I was helped by two ladies on the Creed counter in Liverpool who were wonderful and very helpful in every way possible giving the gift for my son's 40th birthday a special twist with personalised ribbon. Very special. He loved it. Thank you

Doesn't let you buy anything if using a Lloyds visa debit card. You then have to ring the customer services to be able to pay and they then are prone to messing up the order and remove all the deals you may receive by paying through the app. Very disappointing from a well respected brand. I was told I could claim the deals if I cancelled the order and reordered but the deals are not worth the hours of hassle that is likely to cause, two hours already spent trying to order one product.

The app is just not working anymore? I've reinstalled it a few times, updated loads, but not improvement. Shame as it used to be good.. hope its fixed soon as can't be bothered to try much longer.

App is fine, easy enough to use, search for stuff. Got into a bit of a pickle trying to pay with PayPal, the handover went a bit haywire. Worked ok with just the debit card.

In terms of app experience: Easy to use and if an update is needed it will notify you. The contents in the app is very clear and the options from the drop down menu is good.

Latest update is causing issues. When I go into the app and then come out of it...it freezes and I have to close down and reopen each time ..frustrating!

Having spent most of my life living in Nottingham, I used to physically visit the store (Jessop's as it first was) whenever I needed anything. Since moving to Lincolnshire, I find this app very handy in order to allow me to continue using my favourite shop. It's very intuitive and I find it easy to use. Highly recommended.

Great to browse but whenever I try to purchase, it just hangs after taking payment information and bank security check. Waste of time. I end up having to go on my laptop to make a purchase.

App is fine to browse. However, it's impossible to purchase items - when trying to check out, the app hangs. This is after validating the credit card payment. To purchase anything from John Lewis online, I have to go through a browser instead of the app, which is a nuisance.

We have shopped at John Lewis for years, mainly because of three reasons. They have superb customer service, their clearance section can provide great bargains from time to time, and last but not least, they have a 'No question' response to complaints or problems arising from your purchase, should you have cause to return a product for any reason. They also provide fantastic reassurance with their guarantee cover. We love JL 👌

Woeful This app offers the facility to "check in store stock" , only the stock figures are not accurate. Went to the Reading store today to buy an item that was showing 2 in stock, actually only the display item was in stock, and the box was lost. Nobody on the floor to ask either. If you're going to show stock make sure it is correct, 1hr and a half wasted time, shan't trust the app again

Fine, but some glitches. Current worst one is that when the app sits in the background in RAM for a period of time, any attempt to reopen the app results in nothing loading. The section headers appear, but the content pages do not populate. You need to close the app from RAM and then reopen it fresh, in which case the app then works normally.

Works well, despite logging in on a PC and searching for items and looking at them when I then log on the App you dont see the sane search diacover history,the account should be linked with the same historic data so you can carry on,browse and purchase. The green dot notification on Account/rewards, you have to tap the item to clear it, but not always updates. A simple cross would be better to close or hide the offers as they are pretty much useless and completely non relatable..

I haven't been able to place an order with the app for a couple of months now. It doesn't matter what method of payment you use at the checkout when it goes back to the app nothing happens and you end up closing the checkout. Tried contacting JL and they offer no solution. Really frustrating as I cannot use app discounts as I can't place an order using the app. Other reviews mention the same problem which clearly isn't being dealt with.

I have updated to your latest releas and the issue is persisting. Original post:- Your Always issues with this App. The latest version isn't working properly. If I go into the App then come out and then go into it again later (as in re open it up later in the day), it hangs and won't display anything no matter how long I wait. I have to keep uninstalling and re installing it. It's also painfully slow. This needs to be fixed!
