The app is horrible. As with others, It doesn't sync with Headspace nor am I able to enter workouts etc on the activities tab. 6 emails and multiple phone calls to tech support gets me nowhere. Scrap the app and start fresh.

Terrible hard to use website! Very "clunky" ,confusing and cluttered. Instructions on how to use, and descriptions of menus, buttons to click on are inaccurate. The web designers obviously forgot who the site is for, namely the end users. I've wasted a lot of time fighting with it, when I could actually be practicing wellness, i.e. exercising, sleeping, meditating, etc. Horrible experience. I only use it because I have to yo get my discounts! Impossible to get through via pho.Shame on you.

I loved this app but since yesterday it no longer supports my phone. And there is not full functionality on the website. This has caused me a lot of disruption and disappointment. I used the app for so many things and now nothing. Why? I am a loyal customer and this is how I am treated. I am having trust issues!

Never keeps my log in info, so every time I must reenter all credentials including 2 step authentication. Edit. Well I've had the app for over 2 years now. If I could give it less than one star I absolutely would. Edit 2... Log in issues still not resolved. I am convinced the people who created this app have a special place in hell reserved for them. To any app developers out there, John Hancock is currently offering master classes on how not to develop applications.

This app is great in theory, Google fit integration is buggy at best. Step tracking appears to be ok; but calories burned doesn't update after the first time it is accessed in a day and I cannot tell if I'm acquiring points as I should be. The application serves next to no purpose if that is the case.

Unfortunately the Google fit integration is iffy at best. Lots of missed 15k steps days. It also doesn't pull in sleep info from fit to give you credit for 8 hours of sleep. Refreshing points hasn't worked in a few months. Always says to try again later. Needs bug checked for sure. But the idea is solid.

Frequent bugs. App hasn't been updated since March, but last week it began to hang on login, looks like an issue with a vitality wheel. It's not very fun to have these kind of recurring issues with an app that I literally have to use to reduce my life insurance rate. Prior to this for several months I also couldn't login via the app.

There are too many problems with fitbit link or their accounting software. Too many missing points. it's been like that for a long time. Emailing support will get the points back, but I shouldn't have to it in the first place. It's a waste of time. But since this app is tied to my insurance, I have to use it. Very disappointed!

Generally, I'm very impressed with this app. However I just started using this sleep monitoring and it is now crashing every morning. Yesterday I had to uninstall and reinstall it, and today it's behaving in the same manner. If we can get that working again I will go back to five stars. The stakes are high with this app because the points acquired have a material impact on rewards and fees paid for life insurance.

The app is not loading, says there is a bug. Tried to Uninstall and reinstall but it will not open. Seems since the new target reward update there are some issues. Reached my weekly target today so hopefully will get a wheel spin when it gets fixed. You can't do the wheel when you log in to the Vitality website. I've really liked the app but something is amiss now.

Not permitting access to "updated " version of the app. Appears that I am caught in a loop, and while I once had been able to enjoy using the app, it has ZERO functionality as a result. Prompts to download an updated version, which seemingly does not exist. A shame.

very frustrating to get started. They send a verification code and it doesn't work.

The app stop working with my version android device. I had been using the app for the past year plus without issues. Then the syncing with Google Fit was inconsistent until it stopped completely. Today I got a message I need to update the app. I thought this would be good and correct my problems but the situation got worse. It now tells me that the app is not compatible with my device. Why would an app be allowed to be released that eliminates customer access? This is only app with issues

App is slow to log in each time I use it. it's a health tracking app not an investment account. It should not be so slow to launch nor switch to while exercising.

This app is getting very frustrating to use. It doesn't have the location for multiple gyms I go to and I've requested them be added with no action for weeks. Also i set up my fitbit but it doesn't appear that it works even though it shows checked that I set it up. I almost feel like they want you to fail using the app so they can charge you more. Very frustrating when I'm out here working hard every day.

Used to be a great rewards program. Be sure to log in frequently enough that you don't get signed out and need to make a 10 minute call to have the app reset. The new "benefit" of meeting their monthly goal is terrible. Weight training workouts earn fewer points, and even when you do earn a spin, you get 5-10 points. Used to earn gift cards, but those seem to be a benefit of the past.

The app has not been able to sync with my Google fit for about 2 weeks now. I have tried all the recommendations to no avail. All was working fine until about 2 weeks ago. Google Fit is recording all active data but the Vitality app can't pull the data for some reason. Missing my weekly target goals and wheel spins!! Loved the app when it was working properly.UPDATE: Not sure what you mean. Has been working for years now nolonger works!

Went to activate my sleep monitoring, and the App will not open- or error HTTP503, WTH! Update as of 4/16/24, all day today i have been trying to log in, and is stating " unrecognized account". I have requested verification several times, and it still will not let me log in on the app, or through the website. I am in the middle of tracking "sleep cycles" and for the 3rd time, it is not allowing me to log-in, and in turn, I cannot start my sleep cycle tracking! Frustrating as hell!

I like that this app allows me to get points and rewards for exercising, but syncing with fitness apps to earn those points is such a pain. I have to connect and disconnect Samsung Health repeatedly and hope that it'll eventually work. I've reached out to them in the past about this, but it's still an ongoing issue. It's a good app to manage your points and personal goals, but the cross-application syncing is just a mess.

App keeps crashing. Now new update won't let you add activities. Keeps getting worse. update: this app is horrible. it never remembers your log on information, doesn't matter what you do. will always lock. won't let you recover. doesn't like biometric log in. the list is endless. I have been fighting this app since I've had John Hancock Life insurance and frankly the application is horrible and has never gotten any better.
