I wish I could try this for myself, but the App is incapable of detecting files. I created literally the exact same folder structure that is used in the provided screenshot, with a ROM that's a supported file format, and yet it still says there's nothing there. Maybe an issue with newer Phones? I'm on a brand new Pixel 7 pro. Very disappointed since people seem to really like this emulator.

Just found this emulator. It basically merges John GBA and GBC. Like the cleaner menu and the virtual buttons. This is all super convenient. IMO, this emulator has the best visuals and sound quality. My only issue again like the older emulators is that there's no online connectivity. Also there doesn't seem to be a paid version to take out the ads. If you add the online and make an adless version, I will change my rating to a 5/5 stars. (Edit): Found a huge graphical bug in BK Grunty's Revenge.

A really good, stable emulator. A lot better than most that I've used. It gets the job done, and best of all, it isn't glitchy nor does it crash. Love that I don't have to install both the John GBA and John GBC thanks to this, and yet, while still being a mashup between the two, it makes sorting between ROM types for GBA and GBC really easy. Ten out of ten, would definitely reccomend.

I have used every emulator on the store. This is the best GBA/GBC emulator of them all. I have never had it crash. The optional cloud saves are fantastic. The UI is leagues above all others, with options like favorites, play last game, and theme settings. I have occasional sound issues, but they are minor and rare. The one and only thing I can think of to make it better would be something another emulator offers - cheats pre-loaded. By that I mean no need to copy/paste them myself.

I've been using your emulators for years now, they're the best emulators for their respective consoles on Android, that's why about five years ago I decided to purchase all four of them. These new and improved versions are great and all but naturally they come with ads, nothing wrong with that but I purchased your emulators before to get rid of them. I feel that for us people who had purchased your apps before these new ones we shouldn't have to pay more to remove ads. Keep up the good work!

Great emulator, recognizes all the gamepads I've attached. The only problem I've come across, and it's a pretty annoying one, is the in-game save only seems to work like half the time. Too many times I've saved, closed the app, and come back to the game and it starts me back like 8 hours prior to the save. I shouldn't have to rely on save states to play, but I guess that's what I'll have to do.

It works really smooth and well! I was even able to move my saves over from John GBA Lite, which I'm very pleased about. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to change the orientation of the Dpad and buttons. I have a long phone, so it hurts my thumbs to play.. is this an option that I'm missing somewhere? Good work by the way!

There's 3 important requests I have that would make this app 100% perfect. 1. Some roms don't work properly or work at all. Problems range from visuals to no sound to some delay on the game to some being blacked out. Needs to be tightened up. 2. Cheats and save states for GBA roms don't stay after closing the app. Fix this, please. 3. Add diagonal controls to the d-pad. It can be frustrating to play fighting games right now, a fix would be greatly appreciated.

Great emulator, a little uncomfortable to control with a digital d-pad. it would be nice to have an option to use a joystick. Other than that this app is great the emulation quality is good and the ads only appear when first opening the app and changing but do not appear during gameplay. This is an all around good emulator and I recommend it.

I used to love these emulators. JohnGBA, GBC, and this one have plenty of options for people who want to casually take their favourite handheld games on the go. It doesn't have every possible customization you could want, but it doesn't need that when it can just play the game. However, recently all three of these emulators freeze any time I try to load a game. I've made sure it's nothing on my end. Hopefully the dev fixes this at some point

I absolutely love the easy to use & visually pleasing UI as well as the wide game compatibility & optimization of this emulaton (even with hacks!). However, I have to complain about the fact that it's been two years since its initial release and there still isn't any shader options. I would also suggest options to apply audio effects which is something that I rarely see emulators use but is definitely a nice-to-have.

I'm loving this emulator. I use it mainly for pokemon and have had zero issues so far. I only wish I had more inputs on screen. If I could have 2 different speed ups on screen to switch between or more speed options to choose from than I'd give it 5 stars. I also wish I could enable turbo buttons while playing, without having to go to a menu. Other than that, this app is the very best.

Amazing GBC and GBA emulator. A large amount of features are available gor free, including but not limited to: several different game speeds, cheat codes, save slots, and screenshots with no watermark. The UI is just great too, having clear markers for all your games, ability to filter what platform they are on, and a number of different color themes to choose from. Highly recommend, will be purchasing full version to support the upkeep of the app.

A perfectly average GBA emulator. The ads, while not intrusive while playing, are very frequent. The whole app feels a bit clunky and could benefit from a fair bit more options to change. When I first used it, I had one audio channel only in my left ear, and there wasn't any way for me to switch between mono and stereo audio. Overall, this is a perfectly serviceable emulator. It does what it needs to do, but if you have access to a PC, there are much better emulators out there.

Works well enough, but don't expect to keep a save on any long playthroughs. At multiple times in the last few months, with no rhyme, reason, or warning, the library just appeared empty and the app wouldn't recognize any GBC or GBA files. I still have my save states, but the app just no longer recognizes the games. Usually a quick re-install "fixes" things, but not this time. I ought to give this app 1 star cuz it just doesn't work, but I'll settle for 2 since it sometimes actually works right

(Editing) uninstall and reinstall the app. They actually tell you the fix in app. I've had this emulator for a few years now. It used to work fantastic, but the last update seems to have messed up how the emulator scans my storage. It doesn't recognize any of my old roms. After deleting them all, and redownloading, it still doesn't recognize.

Been using this app for a few years now and never had an issue until today...suddenly I tried to open the app and load a save but the game just crashes and closes. When I try to re-open, it says the game has a bug and try Uninstaller then reinstall, which I did, and it loaded a bit further before crashing. Now it says to wait for an update from the publisher. Plz help! I love playing this game and reliving my childhood pastimes! Edit:after not playing for a couple days I tried it and it works!
