It only works if connected to wifi. If there is a disconnect with WiFi, even if you have data on your phone it doesn't work. It keeps recommending jobs no where near my search criteria. Also the app gives weird recommendations that doesn't go with my experience/ education. Most of the jobs you can't apply on the app, it needs to transfer to a website, but it never connects. App alerts to new job. Click on the altert, transfers to app, get error message everytime, never seeing the new job

I hate the effort required to apply for to most jobs so the "1 Tap Apply" button is great for me. I can apply for several jobs very quickly. However when I first got this app, I used the "1 Tap Apply" button not knowing that it sends over my resume. At the time I didn't have a resume uploaded so it sent over nothing. I did this several times before realizing what was going on. I wish the app would force you to upload a resume if you don't have one uploaded when you apply for a job.

My only gripe so far is when replying to messages, the keyboard hides the message and what I'm typing rather than adjusting the display to pad up above the keyboard so that you can see the message as you're typing. Also, needs way more filters when cycling through jobs, whether it be searches or suggested. distance alone is not enough to filter out the obvious garbage.

The app and desktop do not sync or keep both application date and application viewed date. One replaces the other. When a job is closed, no info remains about when you applied. This is very frustrating. Indeed seems to be a better app with less inconsistancies like these. This is at least the second time in a few months where I've had similar issues. Fix them. I'm sure tens of thousands of other people have the same issue.

I do like app and it's been very beneficial to me. I would love to see this app have the ability to sort better - specifically, I would like the ability to be able to weed out certain keywords and types of jobs. Also, the veteran preference question does not work well. I am not a veteran, however when I choose the option that says that I am not a veteran, it defaults to the 'I prefer not to disclose' option. Overall, it is a great app to discover wonderful job opportunities.

This app is incapable of finding a job in your desired range. Zip will never stop showing you entry-level, low paying jobs. No matter what. It will also show bilingual and certification or degree requiring jobs that you do not qualify for, and it knows it. Say you're looking for part-time and fully remote. Zip recruiter will email you about a job that is full-time and 100% in person, even requiring it regardless of weather events. My plea to Zip devs, change the surfacing feature and search func

Has helped me find jobs that are perfect for right now and others that will be perfect to look for when I graduate college in a year. If provides great, detailed info on each job in the emails I get. My only gripe that keep me from giving it 5 stars because it shows jobs that you can't apply for directly from their website which is inconvenient. It would be nice to have an option to select jobs you can only apply for on their app. Otherwise I love my experience with the app

This job app actually does what it says and doesn't reroot you all over the Internet on some wild goose chase to nowhere . I highly recommend it for anyone whose job searching. Also, they have more job listings in the area I'm looking for and I don't have to go to extremes to upload my resume on every application like indeed makes me do... Love it! Keep up the great work!

Personally, ZipRecruiter is absolutely my go to app/company whenever I'm looking for new job opportunities! The interface is very user friendly with a clean look making it easy to navigate. All available information for each job listing has been laid out in a way that makes it quite simple to find answers to your questions (if made available by the company). While I have and do utilize other job search apps, I always find myself coming back to ZipRecruiter and have yet to be disappointed!

The filters on this are terrible. They really leave you to sift through a ton of garbage to figure out what is really in your area, remote, hybrid, etc. Absolutely useless filtering and suggestive algorithms. Dismissing jobs does nothing, they will be back in your results on your next search. Job suggestion algorithms are absolutely terrible. Full of scammers.

UI looks dated and ugly. the import of your resume for your profile resume still requires you to manually input and edit many details, and also cuts off details after a certain amount of characters, and shows you lots of jobs unrelated to your job search. This app needs a lot of work. It looks more or less the same as it has for years now.

Overall its decent. However, when you press the bookmark button, it then asks if you want to save it, which is redundant. Why do you think I pressed the button? Just save it so I can move on. There's barely any filtering so you are wading through tons of jobs that don't match. The "AI"(?) is unimpressive. I'd rather have better job filtering! Clicking on a job doesn't give you job details, gotta press again. Redundant. It functions, but could be much better.

Out of all the apps that I have collected during my search for employment, ZipRecruiter has been the app that has produced the most contact with prospective employers. I especially like the instantaneous pop up that appears when your application has been viewed. It's a great app. It has a very fluid feel to it, and the activity of searching and applying for work is very simple and fluid. Lots of recommendations that are relevant. Better yet ? I haven't even seen the settings menu!👍😎👍

Since indeed stop working, I got desperate to try this after years of uninstalling it. Distance is automatically set to 25 miles which is annoying, you can't view any jobs that ain't on zip recruiter, it's just blank. Can't hide jobs you don't want to see unlike Indeed that somewhat does that. This app so outdated, every app have basic things now but yet Zip recruiter is still stuck in the past, I still give it 1 star. Get with the times. 3 weeks later no new jobs!!! Useless.

The set up process for your profile is easy and straight forward. Searching for jobs is really easy as well and you can add filters to find jobs that fit you the best. They also bold key words from your skills list in job descriptions to further help you in your search. Applying is simple as well. Easier than Indeed if I'm being honest, because Indeed glitches you out of everything and fights you to get things done. So far the best job application app I found.

I absolutely love this app! It provides real time jobs that are available with correct pay information. Employers respond quickly and professionally through the app and the best part! The applications are so simple! I would say the only thing that needs work is the employers questions, sometimes they don't make sense or you can only answer one option even if it's not true. But reaching out to an employer to clarify while they look over your resume couldn't hurt!

3rd time Tried yet again totally wrong jobs. Not fixed any issues with resume to title job matches. Garbage. Still not even close matching. I also looked at the part that shows you what employers see. Just slight information & only 2 skills out of dozens..... I deleted my account... This app is mostly useless. It doesn't even show targeted job matching results at all. It is showing all random jobs that doesn't even match any words in my resume in the slightest. Totally a big fail.

I recently started using Ziprecruiter and I'm impressed with how user-friendly it is. The interface is intuitive and makes job searching a breeze. I appreciate the wide range of job listings available, catering to various industries and experience levels. The notifications feature is handy and keeps me updated on new job postings relevant to my preferences. Overall, I highly recommend Ziprecruiter to anyone looking for their next career opportunity!"

Love the 1 tap apply feature. once you've gone through the initial setup process with your profile and resume and everything, some of the jobs will say '1 tap apply', and those applications literally are a single tap on that button and your done. Occasionally you'll find a 1 tap app where the employer has a couple questions they want you to answer after clicking it, but at that point the application was submitted soon as you tapped the button. So convenient

The AI recommendations aren't always accurate. I put in accounting job titles, and I often get recommendations for customer service and medical billing. The inability to copy text is annoying. I live in the middle of nowhere and would like to check the distance of addresses on Google Maps to make sure the salary range is worth the drive. Being able to copy text or even just click it to open in Maps would be very helpful.
