Game is, as usual, rigged in order to get you to buy items to give you a few more turns, or buy gems to "keep going". I like the art and Roman-era theme, but not interested in a casual game that deliberately tries to make you run out of turns (i.e., refuses to drop tiles you need for 15 turns while stuck in a corner, and having to burn through ALL my energy to have the EXACT same thing happen every time). "Toon Blast" is another one that is rigged like this.

To date? My FAVORITE game so far! Nowhere are the intrusive ads, gameplay is smooth and very doable. Sure there are challenges, but no ripping your hair out after 20 times trying to get past a level. And if you can't seem to pass the hurdle? The developers in human form compassionately recognize this all too real circumstance and have made it gamer friendly to submit to progression. KUDOS developers! Rarely is there a game to be found without the obligatory palm out demanding money. You rock G5!

At first, loved this game! Still early in the game, bought a couple small things. After every level after this, advertising to buy packages unnecessary! When you can clear on your own! Confusing on what story to stay on as you move on & time on each... Like to adtvertise their specials again to early in the game! Deleting! Shame I enjoyed the storyline, so now I rate you money hungry to 1 star. Bye

I really enjoy the little animations throughout the scenes. I think the swans are great. I am a little disappointed that I can't get past certain parts without buying Rubies. There should be ways to earn them other than leveling up (just 1 for this) or sharing to social media. Maybe allow a small number to be purchased with the in game "money". I am considering uninstalling because of this. If the developer's goal is to make money off the game, maybe it shouldn't be advertised as "free".

Game is fun for a while, but you quickly reach the point where you have to spend more and more money to keep playing it. I reached level 68, and I could not progress any further. As you progress, the game gives you fewer and fewer moves to complete each puzzle, until you reach the point where you have to spend money (buy rubies) to buy more moves. Graphics are great, game play is great. But you will get tired of the constant pop-ups trying to get you to spend money.

I liked the game on the beginning but the levels are getting a little more difficult. You don't get enough extra items to help with completing levels.i did pass the Halloween or Christmas events so I feel like all my hard work is in vain. I keep playing the game because its entertaining and I want to see how far im going to get.

I really enjoyed playing this game until the Easter update, when it would not keep progress. I reinstalled and solved that, but a few days later, it refused to load. I missed most of the Easter challenge. I reinstalled again, come the new update, and now the game freezes, looses progress and gifts every time I try to play. Seems the more the updates, the less cohesive the game becomes.

Enjoyable when the thing isn't making near constant pop ups inside the game & for their own ads. The worst thing about ALL G5 games is how they kick you out with their ads if you don't instantly press something. When you set it down when an ad is playing to take a drink of water, tidy up while listening and watching the ads for example BOOM kicked out. This wouldn't be as bad if their games didn't take so long to reconnect, if it didn't involve more ads, and it didn't affect EVERYTHING!

The game is fun but can be frustrating at times, especially when the play plateaus at one particular level for a while. Sometimes I need just one more move to clear play but have to use a gem. I would prefer to use a few of my many accumulated. coins. Sometimes the ads freeze and I have to exit the game and lose the task on which I am working. I enjoy the game, however.

What do you have to do to get a philosopher stone. I've finished at least 2 levels without it being offered. I'm now at level 133 or 134, so you know I play a lot. I don't think I've missed a day since I started playing. A few rules on how to achieve rewards would be nice. Concerning the new game graphics. It's hard to tell if the statues are flashing so you can claim rewards. The snow flakes makes falling confuse the background. Its also hard to see the daily reward baskets.

As with all G5 games, good graphics and interesting gameplay. BUT, the higher you go, the more impossible it is to solve puzzles and finish quests without spending money for tools. Difficulty is one thing, impossible to solve is another. And now they'll post a canned response ... YADA YADA about YADA YADA ... Save it, I'm not interested, because you won't OWN IT. Some puzzles (on ALL your games) are impossible to solve without Tools, which are scarce w/o buying them. I've been playing for years.

below level 10 & already sent here for a review- I keep a ⭐ for that. This should come after level 25 or higher. I keep a ⭐ for graphics. They are decent enough but they have a dated look of graphics from 2012. However, that is my personal preference as I like my games to look a little more 3D cartoon-ish with a high bright volume to the colors. 3 ⭐ for the story line, it could go a little faster but I've tried playing slower storyline match 3s that drags the features on and on. Easy gaming.

This game has a lot of potential. The graphics and info bits with quests are fun. Unfortunately though, some balance issues (not having nearly enough resources to complete collections, not enough boosts) that can be corrected through purchasing very overpriced one-time use items. I have no problem spending on a game, it's good to support them, but there should be lower priced packages and much more reward (like a permanent bonus or more boosts, if you're paying $10-20 on one purchase.

Updated: Love it. There's no time limit so I can play and watch TV without worrying about time restrictions. This game is ADDICTIVE. I've enjoyed the updates over the past year and the additional monsters added. I don't follow the storyline. I have no idea what it is about but it does have a story if you like that. I play to keep my brain active and it is fun. If you take your time and strategically plan your moves by looking ahead it will aid in finishing each goal with fewer moves. Great game!

Seems like a fun matching game so far. They have a lot of quests to keep you busy and I haven't run into ad spam at all. The game does make your phone vibrate after you win when the bonus happens and I don't see any settings to turn this off. It just needlessly uses up battery. (UPDATED to 5 stars thanks to the developer response about how to turn this off). Overall pretty fun. Will update if my opinion changes after longer playtime.

Beyond annoying! Too much useless "chatter" and too many ridiculous forced tutorials. I had to play 4 levels before I was able to access settings to turn off the music and sounds. Y'all seem to think you've created something special and complicated. It is not. It's just another match three and tutorials should be optional. Giving it a couple more days, but it will probably be uninstalled.

Guess my old review got deleted? I love how each building has its own puzzles to explore, so if you're stuck on one you can do others. I love how the buildings and the town improve & grow as you complete puzzles. I enjoy the overarching storyline and all the individual stories. It's a great game! (I've been playing on & off for several years, now.)

The graphics are great. I just didn't like that it reset my game before I had the chance to set up a G5 account. Although it did seem to leave the gold and gems I had accumulated. Now, I have the account saved. I hope it doesn't get imposdibly hard to beat in higher levels. I play these games for relaxation to get away from stress of the daily grind of life. Let's leave the stress factor to the multi-player roll playing games. I like the way the reward statues change appearance, as they level.

I love this game. My issues are not enough moves for the board, or have too many obstructions to where it's almost impossible to clear the board. It's taken me 10+ times to clear the board or I win the board and have to play multiple times at to get the object. It's frustrating. When I play a game I like a challenge, but guys you make it very difficult and it's frustrating. I'm about to delete the game again. It's that same way with Wild West and Egypt too.

I had this game since the beginning. This last update would not open, though I tried many times. Very disappointing. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still no luck. Good, relaxing game. Superior G5 graphics, but the music could use a tweak. Also, that one chick needs to learn more than four words. Get back in school! Lol. New update and happy with the improvements. Thanks for listening.
