no relevant matches, I get recommendations for people thousands of miles away. inactive accounts still appear. now app won't open at all. I'm trying to ensure that my subscription doesn't renew automatically, but I'm told I can only do that on phone app, where it's not working🫣

buggy and missing functions. cant view a profile from the chat screen. slow, app always running in the background. several years passed and the app is still broken. I canceled my subscription because it had no benefits. i had to find workarounds to navigate the app.

The app is HORRIBLE. I don't understand because the owner (Sparks Network) of the app has other apps I've used that have been ok. We're going into 2023...get it together. Stop charging so much for nothing!!! Sooo many glitches. Can't access profiles of those who have reached out. Takes several days to get profile pix and info approved. Not user-friendly. NOT WORTH IT. No link to get customer service help. There's really is no point of this app. I think it's a scam.

Absolute worst user interface *(UI) it is so bad it's almost like they dont want u to meet anyone. 1. The pics never show up so it's just the generic place for a pic but no pics 2. The search function is slow (they must use cheap data center and servers ) 3. The ability to interact and message is practically retarded 4. There is no one using this app. Heres a suggestion to app developers. Go look at seeking app and fix your situation. No point using app. Highly do NOT recommend.

This app is horrible. Filled with bugs. The private message system will erase half written messages and only some sent messages actually go through. It's clunky, confusing, and often behaves unexpectedly. I see three instances of the app notifications on my Android, indicating bugs. Do not recommend.

I give ZERO stars, this app is TOTAL JUNK !!! Nothing works!! You can't see who is sending you messages. You can't open any profiles from the message screen. The back arrow doesn't work. None of the icons work !!! So frustrating....this app is TOTAL JUNK, DONT USE IT !!! I paid for the subscription and I can't even use it !!!! I don't have time to do your job for you. The developer should have figured it out themselves and tested their product to make sure it works BEFORE making it public!!

1) the app fails to show a return key in the keyboard for messaging 2) the app refuses to switch back from sending message to viewing profile. 3) the Captcha login screen is almost impossible to use. The images of sea planes are hard to distinguish from regular planes, same with bicycles and motorcycles, and with busses vs trains. There is no reason for this nonsensense.

Paid for this. The filter to see people online does not work, I keep seeing people who aren't online. The views while browsing profiles cannot be sorted in any of the options listed. It just keeps them random. I could scroll down for almost 20 minutes before I may see someone who is online whereas the filter is on the Online tab. I regret paying or even downloading this app. Once my sub is over. I'm deleting it.

Notifications cannot be enabled *edit*- to make it clear, when you try to enable notifications, a toast message appears saying app cannot be found. Then when going into the settings for the application and trying to manually enable notifications, the option is greyed out. Additionally, when going to the notification settings main page and scrolling through the application list to find and enable the app - it is not there on the list, even if you check system apps as well.

so this is an update to my update and your response. No I will not contact customer service. The issue is your app is extremely slow. It does not load pictures right away despite having a very modern phone with tons of memory. your app is slow. I have to wait forever to get pictures I will continually embarrass you publicly until you actually respond and do something. Neww update 7 /13/19: now the app has totally crashed and has not worked for 3 days!

Bummer. Had high hopes. App doesn't work right. Can't access profiles that send me mssgs, text formatting is off, help support not functioning, w/ a paid membership still getting mssgs of not having full access, and no match recommendations given in Today's Matches tab. Been on four days and canceling. Not worth the 1 month sign up at all plus you can't see more than 1 or 2 photos without a paid subscription or communicate. Poor service-beware!

Once you have this app, you can't stop subscription. There's no link to stop and kept on charging on your credit card. I sent an email to stop charging on my credit card, but I did not get any response. Please use different apps instead for online dating purposes. In addition, if you use an Android phone, nothing is working with this app, sadly, not a smart app! Will dispute the charge!

11/18/19: After the November app update, THREE notifications that JDate is running every time the app is launched. One would be too many! Even worse, the notifications won't go away unless you tap one and Force Stop the app. 10/28/18: Can't see more than the primary user photo after your subscription expires, but it doesn't tell you that's why. ... App doesn't let you know when your subscription expires. ... If it weren't so ridiculously expensive, I'd stay subscribed.

Do not purchase this app. It will not let you unsubscribe. The app is rigged to charge you month after month after month. Dishonest app and dishonest developers. Even when I have looked at the Help list and even after repeated emails they don't help me at all. The help list goes to an error screen. They won't help you as an individual at all. I've tried to email them many times. No response. Nothing. Zilch.

The app and the site are terrible. Not worth downloading, not worth paying. -the app & website are slow and glitchy -there is no point setting preferences because you will be shown matches, and be shown to others, wildly out of your preference range (men 25+ years older contacting me) -when they send you matches, not only are they out of your preferences (and I only set age and distance, so it's not like I was overly specific) but 50% + haven't been online in years WASTE OF MONEY

Updated 9/22/18: Deleted the app. It costs $60 for a one month subscription! Without a subscription you can't view more than one pic of members, can't see who viewed you, can't read messages. Essentially you can't do anything. Not to mention there aren't many members on there, even when you expand your search parameters. And I'm in NYC! Original review: Just downloaded it and like everyone else, it only shows one picture in each profile even as you scroll through the multiple pics they have loaded.

This is the most broken dating app. It's a pretty thin crowd. The app's behavior is unreliable (website slightly better). Worst of all, others cannot even see your messages unless they are paying members, and even if you are a paying member you have no way of knowing if your messages are viewable by your match at all when you initiate contact. Actually, even worse is when I went to cancel my subscription, there is no button for it. This is plainly illegal.

I'd give this app a zero, but one star is as low as you can go. It sends all sorts of alerts to my phone that it's running in the background and the only way to make it stop is to shut the app down, but that becomes so irritating I just uninstall and reinstall when I want to use it, each time hoping the bug is fixed. And I'm not going to email you at your support email, that's just your bogus bullcrap. You have no intention of fixing this app. So stop your lies, the app sucks and you know it!

This app is TERRIBLE! It constantly crashes, is glitchy (can't even display punctuation properly in messages.) It feels like the app was designed 10 years ago and hasn't been updated since (it's almost unusable.) Couple all of that with it being super expensive. What a waste of time and money!

The new app looks nice but is not compatible with Galaxy phones. The buttons on the bottom of the app are in the same places as the phone function buttons and therefore I cannot look at other parts of the app bc phone functions override the press. Also, when is this new version going to take in our preferences?
