Used to be easy to use and intuitive. The new upgrade is terrible. Trying to make an order sends you through several screens and they take forever to load. It seemed to bring in my information, but I couldn't redeem my rewards points, and had to enter my credit card again. It wouldn't take me to the next screen after I entered my card, so I just closed the app and went to another restaurant's app that works. Bad move guys, you used to have the best app in the biz.

UPDATE: The scan feature is back, so that's good. I can now scan receipts to add points. However, the "additional toppings" feature was there a few weeks ago, but now it's gone for many items. For example, I can't add tomato to the bacon ultimate cheeseburger. There used to be a way to add extra sauce to sandwiches, but that's gone too. Please restore these features, as it adds flexibility when ordering.

Upgrade made the app clumsy to use requiring more key strokes and it keeps asking me to sign in ,pick a location every time. It's not easy to browse the menu and place an order. Also, you can't simply return to previous page. You have to go to home page first and start your order again. I can't see my reward points. Where are they? The app designer needs work. So does the clown in management who approved it.

The app is stuck at the main screen with a loading spinner that never stops. Please let this be canceled, or set a quick timeout. I also hate how the menu takes 5 seconds to load, whereas it only takes 1 second in other fast food apps. I don't care about pretty animations, I just want to order food! Previous review: Good deals, assuming your local franchise doesn't block internet ordering. App is a little laggy but it's easy to use.

The app just doesnt work. Pages randomly refresh, it says I don't have an internet connection when I clearly do, can't sign up for an account, can't sign into an account I made online, and there's only an option to pay with a card and not @ location like many other businesses. Y'all have more than enough money to make a functional app. I recommend y'all delete everything and start from scratch. Don't you dare tell me to go to heyjackbox, because they'll just send more automated messages. 0/5 ⭐

Be warned! If you have a problem picking up your order after you put it through the app, you need to visit the location IN PERSON WITH YOUR CARD, to get a proper refund. Taco Bell doesn't charge your card until you pick up your order - this should be the standard! I just went through this when I tried to pick up an order and the drive-thru was CLOSED...TWICE, at two different locations (close to each other). Now it's a major pain to get my money back. Please corporate change thus policy!!!

Completely unusable. For the past one to two months, once you hit checkout and pay, it will say "we are unable to process your payment please check your payment info and try again" does this with every single card. Discounts offered on the app are rendered completely useless because you can only use them when you order through the app, which doesn't work. They Won't accept an app coupon in person. Update the person who replied to me isn't even familiar with their own app, apparently.

You have to appreciate how there's options to "customize" items that truly are not customizable. For example, the chicken sandwich or the fish sandwich - it says "customize," but there's nothing that you are able to add. You can't even change it to a lettuce wrap! All that you are able to do is remove toppings that it normally comes with, and yet still pay the full price. You can't even PAY to add additional topping. So ridiculous. That is the sole reason we have cut way back on eating here.

Menu items are almost completely not customisable. You can't add things, not even for an extra fee. You can't do extra anything on most burgers, except some let you do extra pickles. That's it. Pickles. The cost of the deals and convenience of the app is that you can't get the food you want. It's sad and honestly frustrating. Additionally you can randomly get logged out. So you're on your way to work and need some quick food but you're logged out of the app and it deleted your card info.

Please explain it to me like I am 5 years old, why do you bury the option to choose between carryout and drive through so deep in the app that you don't even see the option until you are ready to place the order? This is absolutely infuriating. I force close the app, clear the catch, all for nothing! In effect, it took me three times longer to place the order through the app that it would have been if I would have just gone to the drive-thru. Please fix this issue immediately, and without delay!

Placed an order with a saved card and it failed and said invalid token. Tried to put in a different card and that didn't even register in the app. It then just logged me out. I went somewhere else. Then I find out in an email later that the order did go through on my original card. Wont use this again... probably won't go back to jack in the box for a long time if ever.

This by far is the worst app to use out of all the competitors. Not just offers but ui and feature set. You have to actually search for location. You have to order and pay through the app. Point earning is slow. Change order? Good luck. It was the worst app design I have seen on a long time. You can tell it was just thrown together and outsourced. Did I mention it is horrible?

Menu missing. I thought maybe starting an order would provide a menu, but no. It asks for my location. I don't trust you to keep my information private, so I give a zip code that is near mine, but doesn't list any locations and won't proceed to the menu. Website has the same problem. You're a restaurant. Providing a menu isn't difficult. Get your act together. I'm not tapping that link. It's your website. Fix it.

Only download if you understand they have zero security for protecting you from fraud and canceling orders made in different states. With that being said, I like the app, but they should have the basic minimum online security. Update: Finally got new credit cards and will for now on type all my receipts in manually, but after separate 3 attempts, I keep getting errors. It's sad, but I think I need to try a food place. Prices are getting insane and I might as well spend money on real food.

Much easier to use than most apps, but i do wish that there were more customization options. At Taco Hell and Burger Kink, i can change up the ingredients on the items. There aren't a lot of choices like that here. However, i don't go to either of those places any longer as both the apps and the customer service SUCK! American companies need to realize that the human touch is more important than the technological touch. Apps may help companies, but they don't help customers.

Not sure why it needs location services enabled when it cannot ever connect. It sure does the loading screen where the Jack character sticks out his tongue, winks at you, and puts on a cowboy hat. Hope that's literally the only thing you want to use this app for, because it sure can't anything else - you can't even manually enter your address, it's actually useless for delivery.

There's no way to dispute wrong deliveries, or issues with orders on app. Purchased some food for delivery through the app. The items that were delivered, were no where near what I ordered, I tried to refund through app .There's no option. I tried to call the store, got the run around. They said the driver has to refund..how I ordered through them, they sent the wrong stuff. I've been calling corporate office for 4 days ,just keep getting recording that they are closed.

Continued due to maximum character limit 2) When I attempt to sign in again, it gives me an error that it can't sign me in. Arg! 3) When I attempted to sign in, I couldn't enter my password because my pop-up character keyboard was covering the PW input box, and I couldn't scroll the screen up to access it, so I had to type my PW on another screen and save it and then paste it into the PW box. Arg! Not sure how these issues weren't caught and fixed before releasing them for public use.🤔

App was fine for a long time. Now it's a useless piece of junk. Says password is incorrect. Request an email to reset it. Reset is successful. Still says password doesn't work/can't find account. Try to create a new account and it says already exists. Which it does. It just won't let you log onto your account. 100% certain that the email and password is correct. Junk.

The only fast food place that's still affordable while also being pretty good. Two tacos for .99 is not something I would expect post covid. The app is a little janky, but not so bad that I couldn't get my order. I had a hard time entering my apartment number in the address because it kept automatically filling it in, so I had to type it into the delivery instructions. Not a huge enough deal for me to take a star away, but it could be better.
