2 things I'm struggling with is... 1.It doesn't have my Country 2.I don't have an I'd or Passport so it won't let me enter I really wish it would remove those features and add all the Countries so it equal to all of us, Because I see America or SA isn't there so please fix this so we can all use this app peacefully, Byee

Love the idea and concept, but implementation is not customer friendly, it's slow, cards take up to a minute to appear and sometimes it isn't able to authenticate and login into the website. It's already a hassle to take my phone up when logging in somewhere, you should make it snappy and quick, with the least amount of actions for me to do! Please improve, there's so much unexploited potential in this! Also, make it less Belgium specific if you plan to expand in Europe!

EDIT Since a while I don't have anymore the issues mentioned before. Works great now. I don't get the meaing of this app: on ing.be, when I choose the itmse login and enter the correct details, I get the usual error messages saying the values are not correct. It works fine with the reader and with the same values. Easier and faster? Maybe more frustrating...

After talking over an hour to install the card reader software and finally being able to get a code, the system crashes. After spending 20min on the phone, trying to do everything again but resulting in the same problem, i get transferred to technical support. As it turns out, my Android version is outdated. How about making the system pokayoke (failproof) by ensuring you can only download the app if you have an Android version compatible with the app? No, "it is listed in the faq" is better

Could be worse, but the more important point is, could be a hell of a lot better. Means of integration turns out being absolutely pointless on many sites, too restrictive on certain security features and whatever happens, even if the earth is splitting beneath your very feet, make sure you do not let the token for initial login time-out or you may never get it to work

It's limited to a few countries and that doesn't favour other people that would like to use the app

Getting it installed was not straightforward, but once set up it is a great tool!

It suddenly stopped working after an update. I have uninstalled it, re-installed it and reactivated several times, yet the app disappears every time I select to log in to a site. Despite reporting the problem several times to the developers, I have received no answer. Horrible experience, Government services should not rely on an external third party app that is buggy and lacks customer support.

Thanks for the app that simplifies lots of tasks for me. I'd like to report a minor issue : about 2/3 of the times I use the login, the app stops (the app simply stops working without any message, and I'm brought back to my home screen) working when clicking "confirm" during authentication process. I then have to relaunch the app and start over. It never fails on second attempt.

I can't get a 5 number code via sms, tried 7 times. So I can't verify if I get vacation days from work. Thank you for your incompetence.

Oh yeah. Let me add another feature that is awfully unnecessary. All links are opened in browser. Seriously? You've ever heard about functionality of apps? Partners - open in browser. Support - open in browser. Info - open in browser. So if everything is only in browser, what exactly is the instruments of itsme? It's also incorrect and shows wrong information about person. Unbelievable.

It can be a tad tricky to set up, which isn't that strange considering that they have to be absolutely 100% sure that you are indeed you because it gives you access to covid status, taxes, financial information and everything else governmental as well as your bank (if you set it up for that) etc. In short, once you have it up and running it makes life a whole deal easier. And it being a two-authentication method means that once set up it's pretty darn safe. If you can't make it work, then you just have to slow down, read what you have to do, and do it. I personally have had far less problems setting this up then using eID readers because I need it that infrequently that by the time I need it again I need to download new versions, update browser, find where I put the ID card reader etc etc etc...

Trying at activate my account but I never get the SMS with the final code... I've tried activating it through my KBC as well as using a card reader. I get all the way at the end with no problems except the final step, never get the five-digit SMS code. Pixel 8 Pro - Belgian Citizen - US (Verizon) GSM/Cell phone #

Not fantastic, not easy at all. Extremely buggy to setup. The app itself is "ok" (after setup) but the process takes us to a computer that has to deliver a code but therefore we need an extra component in the navigator. etc etc etc. Each step is a mountain. Well, to be clear, I was able to finish the setup several times (for my relatives) and the best I could do was to retry 4 or 5 times (either for unknown errors, or strange messages like "do it on the computer first which of course we did, or because simply it got blocked, ...). It is common to restart the process up to 10 times to get it to work. Not acceptable.

Itsme has a flaw. I live in Spain so I have to register with my ID ticking Spain in the box. My ID says that the place of issue is Alicante, as in the consulate of Alicante. When I take a picture of my card the program does not recognise it because it doesn't say Spain.

Since you're basically stalking me to review your app. Here is a honest review. It sucks as you cannot register foreign numbers. So it's useless for Belgians with a foreign number wanting to access government information. I recommend using Windows authenticator or asking the government for a special token.

impossible situations when browsers (chrome, safari, ...) update themselves and itsme doesn't follow these updates, you're completely locked out, misunderstandings between the programmers and the ice service of the government. all you can do is try on a friend's computer, wait for a couple of months.

Does not work on non-rooted devices claiming they are rooted, because "security". Useless, stupid, and nothing to do with security moreso when it gives false positives so easily. Are the Devs incompetents? When it finally works, you find out you can't use your ID in another country than your nationality, even though you're in the EU and both countries have eIDAS working. Useless.
