Really buggy. Must pay for link to camera. The massive open/close icon blocks huge portion of video. Very disappointing.

Everything works as it should with my gate opener mini. The only thing I wish the developers would add is a way to switch the 24 hour clock display to a 12 hour clock display in the events.

Works everytime! The step by step install was very easy.. Anyone can do this.. Lot easier to open my garage with a voice command! No carrying extra door remotes any more!

The new version of this app requests permissions on every start. Permissions it doesn't need because the previous version of the app didn't ask for them. Please disable these.

No User Management and Events History Update Still! The website says the features will be available in future update but it's an easy way of ignoring it without giving a timeframe when. Get it sorted soon!!

Initial Setup doesn't work, never able to connect to wi-fi, bad integration with Google Home - only voice commands and no off/on button, no on-call support

No widget, no button to open straight from home screen, barely works with Google home. In comparison to home kit/apple, this actually make little difference for me vs standard garage key. Disappointed

Sometimes, it works, but lately, not so much. It won't connect to ifttt anymore either. I never had this problem with go go gate. It was dependable, this isn't. It seems to be getting worse.

Works well. Some feature requests: - Android Auto feature so I can control garage from car without voice assistant - Widget for Android so I can have garage door toggle switch available from home screen

Works perfectly fine as it should. Would be great to get a widget that is essentially a remote control, so just a single button to press that toggles open/close. Saves going into app and waiting for it load.

Works but very slow to connect to settings. The lock icon blocking a large portion of the video feed is extremely annoying. In my case, it completely blocks me from seeing who is at my keypad.

The app always shows the door as open. I have reset the unit and reinstalled and setup the device all over again and now it always shows as closed it does not detect anything that happens to the door . There is no response from the email address they provided. I have been cheated

Edit: Started working again ... Previous: Ever since the last update, I can no longer connect to the smart gate. Not sure if it is an issue with the device or the app. I do receive notifications of when the gate is opening and closing. However, I can no longer control it via the app.

Shockingly poor app, clearly made for an ancient platform (the 10 year old Android 5 perhaps?) and not updated since, with the exception of minimal compatability with modern phones. Setup was a PITA. Every time I had to switch app - i.e to my password manager to find a WiFi pass, or store a new login for ismartgate - it would kick me back to the start when I switched back. This also happens in normal use. It will kick you back to the loading screen if you switch apps even for a second.

Star reduced for (1) always asking for google home code - which I don;t have but I still have to enter 6 0's (2) when setting up a guest it doesn;t email the password to the user ..seems a bit dumb. Original review: Getting better After trying to install this app at the gate which is a thousand feet from the router, even with good Wi-Fi, I decided to uninstall and bring it inside and configure it inside... that got the firmware update to install. Went back to the gate connected to Wi-Fi. Connected the two wires to my gate controller and everything seems to be fine for me, I've just given a guest pass to my wife to try out tomorrow and we'll see how that works

App works fine except for notifications, which on 3 different Samsung phones I've tested only get delivered once the screen is unlocked or after a long period of time. If the screen is on and a door notification is received it comes right away. All other apps on my phone deliver notifications fine. I've tried every conceivable setting for disabling built in background battery restrictions, letting the app stay active, etc. I'm pretty sure that it needs to be updated for newer Android versions

This app is terrible. I've had this since the original Gogogate, and Gogogate2's app looks much cleaner. While this new device works better, the app makes it look cheap. The camera gets cropped in the viewfinder and shows when the garage was opened and closed, a feature I don't care for. Also, if I create a user for someone else to be able to access it for a short period of time, they can see all the history of when I open and close the gate. So they can know exactly when I open and close it.
