Doesn't work. I read many reviews that explain this in more detail - sigh 😕. OK as many have mentioned, the mismatch error pops up Even when it's not really a mismatch. Maybe it hasn't been 24 hours yet, or it has but there hasn't been update within the 24 hours that you need. It sounds like there is a daily limit you can request status. Also they do only update once A-day around midnight. Altogether not a workable app. Yet these folks give it 4 🌟 after listing issues???? I don't understand.

Works fine for me. I wonder if anyone trying to input their information is combining both their federal and state? They just want your federal. Just a thought. I just barely filed and already my info is showing. I don't doubt others are having difficulties. Both the app and website are notorious for having problems. It's to be expected when you have such an enormous database and millions of people filing all at once.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it's saying my information doesn't match. I reentered all my information to be sure I didn't mess up. I also went to the website where I filed my taxes to double check the amount and reentered and it again and it still says the information does not match. Eh..Oh well, I guess I'll get it when it gets here or I won't..lol I did get an email saying it was accepted, I was just testing the update system to see what it would say. Star change when I figure it out.

Truly as broken as the federal agency that it represents. No useful or reliable information. Only updates every 24 hours. Now it's saying my information doesn't match. As if I don't know my social security number and tax refund amount after waiting for 4 months! Our tax dollars are being totally squandered, and this app is just a small example of that.

This app is fine for checking refund status, making payments (if you owe), and getting access to free tax filing. You can do the same and more at the regular irs.gov website. The IRS doesn't offer tax filing - free or paid. They offer access to third-party services where you can file your taxes for free. I've used the service and it's 100% legit and 100% free - both federal and state. The app is handy, but doesn't offer anything beyond what you'll find at the website.

Frustrating... I have gone turned to this app because the website it self it's inefficient when it comes to finding out about your account information or anything regardless. Turns out the same thing. No matter how many times I enter the correct information, it would still give me "incorrect information". I thought it was just me but I did my research online and it turned out there hundreds of people having this same issue. Can anyone help!?

Super simple and easy to use. Easier than trying to log in to my bank account to see if I got my refund.

The app doesn't even function. There is always an error with my information ,when the information is actually valid. Why even waste your time with this junk. In other words, pulling out all of your hair and lighting yourself on fire would yeild shockingly better results while trying to figure out your refund date. Utterly useless in all senses of the word.

2022 and it still runs perfectly. No updates, no changes, no problems. Other app devs should strive for this level of zen perfection in their apps. Old review: Does what it says and nothing else. Does not run in the background. Does not use data. I've left it installed since 2017 and it has not used data nor run in all that time and it is small. THIS is how simple single purpose apps should work. And stay. Simple. No bloat. No ads.

The app does it's job and does it well. The user needs to have their expected refund dollar amount on hand for the tax filling year. You need to have your 1040 available or have the expected or refunded amount recorded somewhere. If you don't have that exact figure, it won't find the information. The previous three tax filling years are available to look up.

An OK app. But, has some issues; e.g., changes other phone settings when it updates itself.

Very dangerous. Twice now, I've opened the app, and it had my return info filled in from the previous session. Granted, the first 5 of the social security number are censored, the last 4 aren't. The app won't give info on return unless I force close it and open it again, but the fact that I have to do that despite the app not running in the background to begin with is concerning.

Not that useful. Same information on website. No way to see what you owe, or if you owe anything. Without ID, you can't find out on their website.

This is one of the worst apps out there. Every year I use this around tax season and it ALWAYS gives trouble. Don't waste your time and try logging into the IRS website, instead.

It's saying that the information given doesn't match... my tax paperwork has been prepared by the same person for the past 4 years and haven't had no issues until now with your application.

I've been checking this app every day since I filed and it hasn't changed from Accepted. Today, my refund hit my bank but the app still doesn't even say it was approved. What's the point of offering the app if it doesn't get updated?

Dumbass app it tells u do not use $ sign but it automatically put it for and you can't delete it. Then it says oops you used a symbol sorry. Update 04/04/24 app still doesn't work. I got my refund and the app still showing only that the irs received my returns. Lol

Doesn't give the taxpayer enough information. We have waited since February and we haven't received our tax refund or know why we haven't. Do we get paid interest? They charge interest if you are late.

I am absolutely devastated. I made two payments, in Aug and Sept 2023, through this app. At the time, like a total fool, I did not look for a confirmation number. I saw the amounts had been debited and I marked down that those tax payments had been paid. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago, and I received a letter from the IRS saying I owed taxes. When I called, they told me they never received these 2 payments. My bank is currently investigating, but I stand to have lost nearly 6k over this. Terrible!!
