Intvl is a pretty motivational app for jogging, because it makes you exercises in an entertaining way. And, by doing that it makes you jog outside, motivates you, and make you beat your addiction. And, mostly helps you become fit! UI : The UI is very responsive, sleek, clean feeling when you open the app. The app is very optimised for both softwares, Android and IOS. Based on my experience, this is the most optimised app I ever seen in 2025 and this app has real effort! And the map is the best!

I'm rather disappointed in their customer service and the glitchiness of the app. I ran a very difficult route, recording with this and Strava simultaneously. Strava had no issues with accuracy. INTVL, while recording the correct total length, dropped the last two miles for some reason and would not credit the territory on Terra. I tried to use their chat it, no luck. It claimed to forward my messages to a person but that was almost two weeks ago. I guess I'll just re-run that route.

Gamifying running helps me run farther and push myself harder than I ever would on my own. I find myself mapping out new places to run each day to either claim new territory or to take back territory that was taken from me. It's an absolute blast and a game-changer when it comes to running.

during my 2 hour run the app froze (error message If I want to wait for a response) after less than a km. Because it would not come back after multiple clicks on wait, I ended and restarted the app and resumed the run tracking. It than recorded for another 7 km and froze again. In the end I only got 12km (5 were assumed as a straight line between the first start and my manual resume aftet restart) tracked out of a 21 km run.

Updated Review. PLEASE FIX THIS APP! It's devastating to end a run to see it not count AGAIN I have emailed about this week ago and have not received a response. Sometimes a run won't record. When I'm excited about claiming a territory and one that is pushing my limits... and I'm so proud at my pace... I go to finish my run and find out it stopped recording less than half a mile in... my other constan issue is how far off in distance it measures compared to my watch, Google maps and other apps.

not gamey enough. I see that people have taken part of my territory but I do not get a notification, why? I want local war with the people in my area who are running! but the rest is cool, I would love this app if they just focussed on the competitiveness of local battles and if it was possible that that part was free, although I understand everybody has to make money somehow. it's solid but has potential to be awesome.

Very poor app experience. I am disappointed that it is unreliable on a modern, popular device (S24). The app completely failed to log the area of my run twice (out of 6 times I've used it) despite everything looking nominal when I ended the run. The UI and features can also use some work but those are small compared to lost progress on 10K runs

I really like this app and the purpose of it. It keeps me motivated, but sometimes it has difficulties recording my runs. for example I ran roughly 4 miles the other day and it recorded 400 meters. I sent a message to their bug report because this wasn't the first time and Im hoping to hear back soon.

The onboarding experience is so terrible. Anyone who downloads this app is most keen on the territory capture. That's the first thing you should show anyone. Even before I could play you asked me for a card further more you put me through a tedious data capture routine. Please invest in getting a product Manager, if you dont pay for talent you will pay for mistakes. The potential is there just hire the right people. Email me once you fix it This user journey clearly was done in the dark.

The app provides a fun way to break up the daily running. I'm rediscovering old running routes as I try to break into more territory. it's a reason to run more than the daily loop outside my door every day. I've had a few issues with runs not registering as a completed loop, but the INTVL staff has been good at correcting those issues within a few days.

i love this app and am a big fan of it. I would like to give a suggestion: Adding new modes like walking and cycling. so you will have 3 activities with different maps, if someone selects walking he goes into the walking map, like that. coz sometimes i just to walk around on rest days feel like it would be cool to capture territory by walking. I hope this suggestion reaches you well and you do implement it in future

Sometime buggy and the UI/UX is a little annoying, but this is a fun game to give you some extra motivation to run and try new routes. Unfortunately, we also can't have nice things because cheaters have to ruin it for everybody.

I really enjoy this app and competing with friends. It keeps you accountable in running to stay on top and hold as much territory as you can and beat your friends. Looking forward to when other devices like Samsung will sync so I dont need to run with a phone anymore.

This app has the potential to be amazing, but the premium price point is off the scale. If this app wants to take market share from Strava, its free features are abysmal and the 7-day free trial is pointless. Strava's cult and community are entrenched, and without the ability to track key analytics or export directly to Strava on run one, this app won't survive.

I love the concept. I don't like that you have to level up to unlock basic functions of the app. Also I find it extremely expensive considering that you already pay for strava. But you can still use it and play the territory game for free which is super fun! Unfortunately not that many members in Greece...

It's a great app in general, it is fun to run and compete, you can create private lobbies with friends, but the only thing I don't like is that they charge us for having more than 5 runs in private lobbies, I lost a lot of emotion for using the app after watching this, but if you prefer competing with everyone/local people, this app is awesome, you should try it

Have been quite fired up using this app. Learned how to map courses on my Coros to methodically take over areas. Biggest gripe, can't just click on a territory after someone takes it to give a heart or comment. Should be able to click a run at any part of the app and edit your own or comment on another's. Also...just ran a marathon, received notification of the 5 people's areas I stole...yet map shows all the territory belonging to another runner from the event. So It has some work to go

It was useful in the beginning, but the subscription plan expanded by disabling workout plans and not making them free to use. Another annoying thing is the distance tracking system. - you start a workout, and it may be canceled by the app itself, not registering ANY progress. Also, the button/switch colors are so confusing. I wanted to log a long run into TERA, but the switch to apply the run to TERA did not give an obvious indication that the workout would automatically be transferred.

this app was super motivating, and i had a lot of fun using it, but after my first run, it just kept deleting my progress. I'd walk 4 miles, and it would track it for a while, but after a while, it would just close itself and cancel my whole run. im honestly just sad atp bc i was really excited to track my progress. the only thing running this app did was drain my battery.

love this app! it's motivational and I have fun competing against others. The concept is great. I think there's some kinks that still need to be worked out. I can never claim xp when I go on a daily run for some reason. It just never recognizes the run I already did to let me claim it. And sometimes the app is a little slow and buggy and I have other little issues that happen on occasion. Still awesome and loving it. if you need motivation to run, get this!!
