Terrible company don't use them. They nickle and dime you for every little thing. Trying to get the device is even more of a headache. Their app doesn't help with much of anything other than taking your money and renewing your lease. Had the device for over 2 years now and calling in to report something is a pain and most of the time they tell you to use the app instead of calling to get a real answer.

Only been with the company for a couple months and it's been such a frustrating experience that I'm on the verge of changing providers rather than dealing with this for 2 more years. Most recently I had a missed test while my car was in a mechanic's shop and despite providing ample documentation showing I was not in possession of the vehicle at the time of lockout I'm still being charged $75 dollars. Also expect to spend a minimum of 20-30 minutes on hold every time you call to hand then $75.

The app is ridiculous.. it does not correspond with accurate payments. It constantly says I have something due when I don't. I've paid more for renting this device than any other bill. It makes no sense that I have zero time to pull over in order to blow into the device. It's dangerous. I don't understand why it goes off when I'm not even in the vehicle. This device is horrible n I cannot wait to have it removed from my vehicle.

Can't login (even though my password has always been saved) and when I try to reset the password, I'm redirected to an error page. It seems like this could be fixed, as they certainly have no technical problem with my automatic payment draft. Perhaps they should try to apply the same effort to service as they do for collecting money.

False readings about once a month and their device just died on me after 3 false readings in one month. Several times I got in my car at 4am it read right at the acceptable limit(.025). 10 min later it read all zeros. Today it left me stranded at a busy intersection. I went through the trouble shooting with someone who spoke impeccable English only to find out the device was faulty. They have to schedule the appointment mentioned to get it replaced which takes forever as it has to be within you.

Avoid this company like Covid. The equipment is seriously unreliable and faulty. Expect to wait up to 30 min to start your car. They're ridiculously priced and will charge you for anything. When, not if, their equipment malfunctions they'll accuse you of tampering with it. "Customer service" will lie to you, imply you're a liar, belittle and condescend you, not follow through with what they say, and often make mistakes. All of which you will be paying to endure. App is nearly useless, too.

They kept charging me after I removed equipment with authorized dealer. Then after having to go through all the nonsense that was their mistake in the first place I made sure my account was closed after spending 40$ a second time to close it. They then kept charging 9$ for roadside assistance after my account had been closed 2 times. I then had to call again to send a damn email to tell them I didn't want the assistance after I closed my account. DO NOT USE SCAM COMPANY.

Terrible experience with intoxilock. They took unauthorized payments out of my bank. They tell you a install fee then go and get install and it's 80 dollars more. Support is nowhere. Not on the app anywhere, calling them to get the service it's so easy to get on the phone. But after my install I can't even get a call back or get a human on the line. This place needs examined and removed Update 9/21 Called back both numbers got voicemails minutes after getting the response.

Currently not a good app. Most things you must manually input on the device. However, when inputting your work orders or even when you have issues with things. You send an email but no response is it from the application!!!!!!!! Why do i have to call in when in other apps i can be in an instant messaging an associate live and without any wait time. This application needs a lot of fixes from the customer support response or at least the sending out of email. The reminders for the app work.

Worst customer service imaginable. Don't update automated messages so you receive wrong information, transfer you and direct you to different numbers, sneak in hidden fees for things like "roadside assistance" and the insulated sleeve it comes in, have insane wait times, and are not helpful at all. They messed up charging me multiple times and when it came time to take it off they were terrible.

Company is horrible. It's a scam. I've paid so much in fees because of "lock outs" I haven't had a drop of alcohol in years. If the device malfunctions you're out 75 bucks. The plastic blow things don't stay on the device and nearly caused me to die while reaching for the thing. The rolling tests are extremely dangerous in hazardous traffic situations and led to the death of a child. The customer service is horrible and non-existent at times.

Description of my experience with this app. ,and the device! Not good at all! The device was not installed properly. I started my vehicle forgot to blow into device. The car started up and then the device beeped and said it was in lock out. I drove home .then called them up.they said I had to pay 70 dollars to send a signal to reset the device because it wasn't installed properly. The signal didn't work.i had to drive back to the place that installed it wrong.the car was there all day .

The device has killed my car battery every day it's been installed. The app is useless unless they are taking money. I was directed to the app for everything but everything including lease signing had to be done not in the app. If you call with caller ID they route your call into directory hell. It hasnt been one week yet. I can't start my car without help. Battery isnt even 2 years old. The agents always ask for reviews and i will begin leaving them in droves. Price no where near the stated og.

My experience has been rough. At both of my jobs I do a lot of walking. By the time I get to the car to blow into the intoxalock I'm out of breath. Like it makes passing difficult. Every time I go to blow into the intoxalock I get yelled at "blow harder", "retest missed", etc. They should make these devices according to the person using them and/or have a variety. I almost missed a retest due to being hearing impaired and I didn't hear the device make the alert noise. The car was silent

Terrible app from a terrible company. Scheduling car maintenance doesn't work, you'll always have to pay the lockout fee when Intox fails to recognize maintenance. No helpful functionality, you won't be able to schedule removals successfully. The only thing the app does is create a pay portal. Don't enroll in autopay, you CANNOT adjust when the charges hit. If you have to get a blow n go do it through any other company. I was easily overcharged $400+ & they steal that money with a smile.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT use Intoxalock. Numerous hidden fees that you get hit with after it is installed. They are addressed in the lease, that you receive AFTER it is installed, so you don't read it before. Recalibration service every two months and can't be completed without signed lease. Can sign lease in app, but app is ****. Customer service based in Asia, somewhere. Requires retest every 6-8 minutes, not sure if that is par for such devices. Device works, only upside.

This app is not very useful. You can't get anything accomplished within the actual app for your account. It just mainly shows you when payment is due and how much you are paying. Pay attention to the bill! This while company will scam you out of every dime possible. Hidden fees, random amounts, and things you never agreed to showing up on your bill. Don't try customer service, they just waste your time and say they can't do anything, that's after you wait forever to even talk to someone.

This app does not work well. I signed 4 leases, and it just keeps popping up a day after it's signed and says it hasn't been. The only use I get out of it is a reminder for calibration. Plus, if this confounded device is installed on your vehicle, you need to know that it has a constant draw on your battery. It ruined one of mine, and I had to keep a battery maintainer on it.

The app is nothing but a payment portal. Within 1 week of having the device I had to pay 100.00 above what was quoted to me.When I called to find out what the fees were for the rep wouldn't explain. When I asked for a supervisor he hung up on me. I have had the unit 5 weeks and have had 3 lock outs ($300) not because of "failed" tests but because of "missed" tests even though I blew every time. I can't blow hard enough for the machine until I am locked out then I blow hard enough.

I've had issues since day 1 of install. leaves me stranded a lot in my jeep. my work car has issues, not near as much as the jeep. it cost so much to have it. it's cost me to lose a few jobs. it's left me stranded away from home. I don't drink so that's not the issue it's the machine itself. I've had 3 lock outs in a month when they knew there was an issue with the device. I called to schedule an app for it to be looked at and the Intoxalock Rep got me locked out telling me wrong time for app.
