There is no other no-root firewall offering all these features.
Why does InternetGuard top the data usage chart?
It’s an illusion. InternetGuard uses your device’s VPN package to create a firewall. As every data packet sent or received by your apps passes through the VPN, all the incoming and outgoing data traffic gets attributed to InternetGuard.
The good part, however, is that InternetGuard now comes with its own Data Usage feature which allows you to check data usage for each app. To view the usage, choose Data Usage from the home screen.
ATTENTIONS:
1. This app is based on VPN interface, which is the only way to implement the firewall on no-root devices. It works as the proxy between the common apps and the servers. The app doesn't steal your data or send even one bit of its own.

Other apps I have tried stop working after a while, even when you turn off the option to 'freeze' the app when in background. This app holds up to the task and thank you, developers, you did a good job.

It's very awesome app. Very useful app. But these days it's not working I enable it but then also I receive notifications from my what's app. I have re-install this app also but then also there is no improvement Please tell me somebody that what can I do to fix it because I am facing much problem due to this.. Do something to fix it as soon as possible

Excellent no root firewall. Provides detailed Internet access control and logging by application for novice or geek. Does not slow down phone. Ads are mostly in backround with a few exceptions when they jump at you.

This app works perfectly. You can stop the app from accessing the internet. There are some apps which shows add when you open it. To stop the ads, you need to pay. I restricted that app by using internet guard data app. It is working fine. No need to pay money.

The best firewall sofar. No killing, no crashing. Is a complete watchdog. The only thing i need developer to do is to add auto connect when booting because sometimes i do forget to activate it and this do affect both in and out flow of traffic. Thank you for the good work

idk ... my phone is a ZTE Sapphire with Android 7.x.x ... i am blocked from tapping "Ok" to bring up VPN options and enable this app as VPN, except that i follow the alert notification, turn battery optimising off, and "magically" [now] it's working right. ... weird, and i'll hang onto it if it reengages on its own on restart with this version of Android because the built-in data saver does not. :/

I've used this app literally for years and haven't found one better. It gives you absolute control over what can or can't pass between your device and the DNS servers. Real time control of every bit of data transfer in or out. Nobody does it better!

it's so cool. I love it. You can turn off apps internet access that uses mobile data anytime you want and it is very effective in saving mobile data. it's so cool when I turn off internet access for apps to avoid ads and pop up notifications.

Totally awesome app and I found it very useful, there are ads but they don't interrupt much as they are arranged wisely, well over, reason of missing stars is that some bugs made me confused. The major one is that I cannot find the Playstore in the applist so kindly fix this as early as possible. 😊 Thanks

This will not stop any Google operating system app from using lots of expensive data on your phone. I . This does do a very good job though of keeping certain apps off the internet. But I really dislike it that I allow Google Play Store to use my Wi-Fi, but then they got to turn around and use it as much app data as possible

Because of this app i lost all my data, when i installed this app, the lockdown button appeared in notification bar, when i clicked on it the phone started screen blinking, i did alot ot tries, i reboot the phone, then reboot the phone in safe mode, but nothing happened, the last solution was to factory data reset the phone, by which i lose all my very very important data.

Started to use this app to replace NoRootFirewall on my redmi7a. However besides the 4 stars the truth is that this app does not work perfectly in my phone. For example telegram still connects even though I blocked it. Facebook app is blocked but still connects and redmi analytics. It also seems that the batery optimization setting in redmi does not work correctly and the setting constantly reverts and this may be why the app is not blocking everything I told it so.

This thing has a mind of its own and does what it wants, not what you want. I block a site and it allows data through anyway. I specifically allow a site and it stays blocked. I have reset the links and blocked or allowed them as I need and this thing does the exact opposite. Time to start looking for a new firewall. Just cant deal with this blocking sites I specifically allow which breaks the app. Have to reinstall the app and that only works 50% of time.

Outstanding product! Essential for completely stopping background traffic by all apps, including system. Identifies the names of all sites that each app is sending your data, even when they haven't been given permissions! Used for months with no problems. Thanks developers, excellent work!

Usually the apps using the accessibility service m my Android Oreo are "unloaded". This app works forever, you can configure everything, stops everything, banners inside apps. ★ ★ ★ It keeps appearing the "system update" message and the "Google services update". This later updates to the end. It's annoying but i suppose it's my fault.

Just fixed my problem thanks to this app. My phone just kept downloading and installing unknown apps like a virus does. I somehow couldn't find the culprit so I decided to filter out the apps that will be using my internet connection (wifi/data). Tried other firewall apps but problem keeps on going. Then I try this app and it somehow worked. It blocked that system app, that until now I don't know which one, from downloading things and annoy me with those installs. Thanks. Great app by the way.

Excellent app very easy to use. My only problem is I have a bad apple into my system and this allows them to change my settings! I do not think there is an app to correct this; so since I tried every app out there, I can confirm that this is the best out of them all including the expensive apps I tried in an attempt to get rid of the one controlling my system? I guess I have to clean out the phone professionally. Factory testing it or clearing everything by factory resetting it over and over

I barely started using this app and it already asks me to rate it - way too soon. Some adds are almost fullscreen, preventing usage of the app until closed by tapping ridiculously small close button - VERY annoying. There is additional (unnecessary) settings button in lower right corner of the screen, overlapping wifi and mobile access buttons - what is it doing there is a question that even sages would have difficulty answering. Now I want to test how well this app actually works... :)

It's a five star experience for me. The app works so well on my phone. I can now disable data connection on apps I'm not using and it saves me lots of data. The feature that blocks adult websites is the icing on the cake for me. Kudos to those behind the app. The app drains my battery faster if not optimised and you may have to improve on that but overall I love the app's performance.

Had problems during the first setup and it had to reinstalled and reboot phone. It worked properly second time with some minor adjustments. You can configure the app to block connections when the screen is off it's something i wanted. You can also set filters to block access to specific addresses. It's a brilliant app and greatly recommend it.
