The app itself is difficult to work with. Sometimes support can be hard since they're remote. But ultimately, if you follow the app's directions, then grind out shifts, you can make money very easily here. Places hire out of here. Back up positions are paid! There are even small opportunities to advance within instawork. Its good, but could be great with a little more support.

Instawork used to be great when I first started back in 2021. Now you have to put your work experience, a resume, a picture of your attire, take all these quizzes, do a coaching calls a background check and that's to get "approved" for positions. The fact that I have over 15 years of experience and can't get approved for positions is a joke. And you have to have 4.5 rating just to qualify for status. It's Terrible. You're better off using Goodwrx or WorkWhile because app is an absolute joke.

I went through a series of documentation provided as required. Filled and went above all fields, inquired on practically all selections of jobs that they offer yet nothing is available in my area. All of them are further out with a very poor selection to choose from as they are all taken with a waiting list. It doesn't make any sense to drive out so far to earn very little money. They need to structure this app better especially for those who are willing to put in the work with better selection.

It's good, but you need experience to book a shift/ confirm certain attire/ verify employment, etc. It'd be nice if you could apply for a job without having to fill all this out first, especially if you don't have the time or means to. It's not like I haven't tried applying for shifts the the app says I'm qualified for but every time I try and apply for a shift under one of the approved jobs it just takes me to a paged askin for the stuff listed above, it'd be nice if a resume was all you needed

I havent been able to find work consistently for the last few months, until I decided to go through a few steps of getting this app all set up. Now I've been able to find jobs all over, some do require a bit of driving but the payout is always worth it. The more shifts you work the more access you will get to shifts that are greatly coveted.

Unreliable! 2 weeks without being offered a shift within 2 hours travel time. If your a dishwasher or like to bus tables then this app is for you. The app defaults you with a work radius of 100 miles! I'm in West Hollywood. So when I didn't take a shift they offered 2 hrs 30 min travel time when not rush hour, it negatively affected me in getting any more shifts...it doesn't point you to the option to adjust travel time. Look at pic of the app developers, out of college never worked blucollar

I hope they have jobs that can be 100% remote and related with video games tester, Dasher/Delivery Driver, sorting(Packages, mail, and books), and Library Assistant. Also, the app needs fixing with loading times and while using the app because it's very slow. They need to update app to have better customer support to talk with person and enable to have access permissions to send attachments and pictures on the app on Samsung Galaxy A03s and Samsung Galaxy Tab-A.

I love most of the app, however... there are glitches and no way to access help/customer service to alert them to issues that are not predetermined within help/FAQs. Among my issues, I have followed your acct on FB, and am now rating you on Google Play as "contributions", but despite the fact that I have allowed your app permission to access photos via my phone, your "allow access to photos" links in app do NOT work. I tap on the link and NOTHING happens. Please fix and allow messaging!

As somebody starting their own business and diversify their income this app is actually is extremely impressive and simple to use. I'm just starting out with it however so far it's a really awesome service and more businesses should use them. Very decent vetting process to ensure that I'm not lazy or unreliable or bad at the work in the shifts it take. Also as a bonus its a really stable app it's responsive, reliable interface really help me be able to depend on the service.

Easy to work shifts, but if you end up having any issues it's hard to get it resolved on a timely manner because they respond late to messages. The app is glitchy, I am being offered shifts in other states when there are shifts here in Michigan it's a bit outrageous because you can't even book the shifts in other states because they are too far.

App is a hot mess, and they only have automated assistance. Such a huge waste of time if you have any problem at all! I've spent hours trying to set up an account, have run into a problem AND THERE IS NO ACTUAL PEOPLE TO HELP YOU. NO EMAIL, PHONE, CHAT, NOTHING! NOT A SINGLE BREATHING HUMAN BEING! So after all that time, since there is a technical problem apparently I just can't work through instawork. WASTED SO MUCH TIME! I'm so pissed...

Tried MANY times to upload my resume... Restarted the phone, app, made sure it was updated, etc... eventually uninstalled it. My resume is all Software dev and QA experience of you all need help with that 😂 *Edit* I tried it again and still didn't get my resume to upload. Did it manually and I was already able to secure a little gig. Feature wise it's great, but the resume thing is a bother... Serious about that "if y'all need help" thing.

"Instawork is a highly efficient platform for finding gig work. The app is user-friendly with a clean interface, making it easy to navigate and apply for jobs. The variety of gigs offered is impressive, catering to many industries. However, improvements could be made in the notification system to ensure more timely updates about job opportunities. Unfortunately it's still a little too new around my area so it's not easy finding jobs close to where I live which I hope to see more jobs soon!

Finding jobs wasn't a problem; trying to rectify a problem has been atrocious. My actual work location didn't match the marked location - I couldn't clock in. I found a help article on adjusting the location - couldn't do that after the shift. The next day I was marked as a no-call/no-show, my account deactivated. I tried to call my contact and wasn't able to. An article said I could appeal the deactivation - there was no option to do so in the app. No customer service phone # or email anywhere

THERE'S NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM!!! That wasn't even my initial problem. Was gonna rate higher. Initial problem was my work distance settings kept changing! I'm near Chicago and it keeps showing me jobs in down state and other states. It's a lot to scroll through when there's nothing local available. It's a waste of time and makes me want to delete this app. FIX IT!!! Update: AI would've given a better response! Nothing about a resolution, huh? Just an automated blanked response. Thanks!

I liked this app at first, I did everything that was asked of me and more, then came the issues. Rectifying app issues, shift, location, and or company issues is a nightmare. Dealing with customer service is a headache. The pay is good sometimes, but most times it's not great at all. There are 99.9% W2 shifts and only .01% 1099 shifts, which is not what was advertised. I had high hopes for this app, but as worker an independent contractor I was let down immensely!

The app would be rated higher if we can communicate with someone.. It's like right in the new year 2023.. They decided not to want anyone communicating with them.. So much holes in the app that they do not want to fix.. I have trouble getting work close to me.. Also, the specific time I want to work pops up, and it won't let me pick that schedule time.. Now, if it is overnight, it allows me to pick.. Which I do not.

This app is badly optimized. It takes a long time for pages to load, and it can be frustrating doing anything. They're very slow to notify. Every time I get a notification for a job, it's gone by the time I open the app. You might have to find a program that will automatically accept these jobs on your behalf. Between the slow notifications, and slow app you will always get beat out.

Would be great to sign up, but verification codes sent are not to be found! Seems my device is not cooperating - set on phone mode by default, on a tablet. I can't get it to switch. This app came recommended by NoGiggity recruiters. I suppose that's a biz partner? This one, & one called UpShift they sent me. I haven't tried the UpShift app yet. Also most available shifts are across the state, not in my area at all

It seems that the app gets worse and worse with each update. Every time I have an issue and need support, it is impossible for me to get back to the chat. I select help and there is no link to previous chats. Really terrible experience all around. When I do get a response in my email, it's one of the FAQs, which don't really help my issue. Then have to start over again.
