I depend on Instasize for picture editing on the go. There's a glitch now that only shows you the ad for premium without the little 'explore' option at the top right corner that you can click for the free version to see if you want premium. I reinstalled it and it is back to normal. I hope they continue to offer a free version because I really like Instasize to edit pictures before posting on IG.

I used this apps for years, I recently upgraded my phone and lost all applications. when I I redoenloaded instasize I was thrilled, until I finally opened the application only to find that the "upgrade to premium free trial" page, would not let me bypass to use the basics only. I am furious. This little trick may force others in my situation to cave and pay the 3.99, but I refuse. thanks a lot instasize 👌

When I go to crop the image and add the border size (like 0-whatever) it cuts from my image. In the iPhone version, it makes the photo smaller along with adding the white border. That is what I want and the Android version wasn't capable. Edit: my photo was buffering as someone else reviewed and not loading, the issue here is the pathway in which you open it. To solve this, use instasize itself to access the file, instead of opening through gallery or photos.

USED TO really love this app because it was the best one compared to the others, it was straight to the point and not really difficult to use. However- I just tried installing it today and premium option kept popping up, with no option to opt out of it. I uninstalled and reinstalled thinking there was a glitch or something, but nope. It's just how it is now I think. Sad.

I have used this app for years. I got a new phone this month & installed this app but it won't let me past a pop up requiring me to subscribe for "free" but will automatically start charging $3.99 after the first week. I reinstalled the app to see if I could get past the pop up & even that didn't work. I'm so disappointed because this used to be my go-to app for editing. Now I have to find a new one. Thumbs down for Instasize.

Horrible, only has a paywall which it does not mention. Forces you to sign up for a trial on android. Then there is no where to cancel it or change anything. The edit profile gives you no options but to change name or password. If you download it to try it out good luck canceling your subscription. They do not make it easy. Looks like i will have to contact support.

Yeah, no. Just like everyone else, I'm not going to suddenly pay $25 a year for an app I use maybe once a year, that doesn't even work all that well in the first place. You add crappy borders in order to resize photos; that is worth zero dollars. Also, the interface is overly sensitive and impossible to center. Should have stuck with ads, guys. Plenty of other apps will do this for free.

The app will not even open for me any more, despite clearing cache and info and deleting and reinstalling. I have the latest version but still nothing. I see a ton of poor reviews saying that they cannot use the app at all anymore without paying for a subscription. This has turned me off to the app all together. I would have possibly been interested in a paid membership but not a forced one.

Used to work just fine, and then all of a sudden, the app is unable to save anything to the Gallery (rendering it essentially useless, since that is all that other apps can access, and it is designed to be used with Instagram). Extremely bitter I paid for the full version because now it is completely worthless to me since I can't actually upload the resized images any of the places I was resizing them for

Update: STILL won't bypass the premium screen. Just got the new Pixel, downloaded it to give it a second chance and still can't access. Not sure if this app just favors Apple, but not Droid friendly I loved this app. Used the free version for YEARS, yet every single time I open the app now, it's forcing me to pay for premium! There is no option to bypass, go back or close out the screen. Beyond disappointed and not paying monthly for an app when there's other free alternatives. Look elsewhere!

This app sucks! It does not allow use of the app unless you agree to subscribe to its trial to pay for an upgraded version with a card on file. It does not allow you to exit or skip the trial either so you either agree with a card on file or you can't move on, stuck on that home page. What a waste of my time/download! Wish I could give it zero stars.

I really enjoy this app and it's my go to to add background to photos, but really wish I was able to log out to save all the work I've done. I got a new phone and there's no way for me to sign out, but I can sign in. I've added the app to my other phone, I've signed in and nothing gets transferred over. It's a bummer since I have the subscription and a bummer if I've deleted the original photos to save the edited version from instasize.

This app use to be really great, I've used it for a few years now. It sucks however that with each new update, we lose great borders / backgrounds. The ones left have horrible quality compared to how they looked before. The app has also had issues with not wanting to save my pictures to my phone. I've loved this app but it's not good anymore. Will be deleting it and hopefully finding an alternative.

When I choose a font in the text portion it chooses it, it chooses the color I pick but when I double click it goes to the window to type in, but clicking on the "click twice here" letters are not bringing up my keyboard as it does for anything and everything else on phones. And he words don't go away. So I'm not able to add text to photos? Is there is something I can do to make that happen? Y'all have some really cool fonts that I haven't seen before and very excited to use them.

I used this app for a LONG time. I have always been pleased with the way it framed my photos and the free filters but now I cannot use it without upgrading to premium. Upon opening it, the home screen becomes a pop up for upgrading and there is not a way to exit to use the app...unless you upgrade to premium (there is a 7 day free trial and then you pay). In conclusion, you cannot use this app unless you pay even though the download is free. Very, very disappointing. Hopefully this changes.

not to belabor the point, but like many other commenters, I definitely liked this app. however, after uploading it on my new phone I can't get past the subscription screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, made sure the update was in effect, still nothing changed. The email support has been slow and unhelpful. hope this can get resolved. Edit: came back app, I got 4 posts in and now it's giving me the subscription screen again. It has to be intentional. Will not use if "problem" isnt fixed.

I used InstaSize for EVERYTHING.. and now I can't even change the color of the font!? And you took away many of the font options & replaced them w/ones that I have to pay for? $3.99 a month to unlock many features = $48 p/year is exorbitant! it would be a different story if you kept the former features and charged for only the new ones. I will happily use other apps. Shame on you Instasize.

Like everyone else, I used to LOVE this app for resizing photos. Now it will not let you use the app unless you enter your credit card information for their premium package. Basically it's not a free app anymore. It forces you to do the free 8 day trial, which I did just so I could use the app and immediately went to cancel it and its nearly impossible. Waiting on an email response to make sure I will not be charged for something I didn't want in the first place. May need to go through the hassle of canceling my card now. Uninstalling.

Re edit: once again, I used to love the app. Honestly, I don't remember how long it's been since I've last used it. But I do remember not having to pay for borders or anything else to use on the photo..... Now if I even want to use borders or any other filters, I have no option to pay for EVERYTHING... yes, it's a small charge. But still ..... I rme her when I was able to use all of it's features for free...

I have been using this app for quite a while. I've never upgraded in the past, but may soon. I am loving the background eraser option. It does an awesome job! I highly recommend this app for anyone looking to add a bit of interest and creativity to their photos (In my opinion, most backgrounds are gender neutral, the filters aren't too dramatic or unnatural..etc) and it's not overwhelming to navigate this app, either. The Instasize app is my favorite of it's kind. 🤩
