Wow you REALLY want people to upgrade. Can't do anything without asking TWICE. No thank you. Needs polishing, and I found another app that works better anyway. Your app asked me for age & gender when it first loaded, then it didn't save the info. I took my first reading, and it asked for my age & gender again. Then it made me scroll thru the calendar all the way back to 1964. Not cool. Please give me a keypad. I know how to type. 👋 bye

This app is a game changer for my workouts! Yesterday I was searching for an app to check my heart rate, and came across this one! Not only does it check my BPM, but if you subscribe to it, it gives you daily workouts (20, 30, or 40 min.), a diet plan to fit your needs, and give you monthly reports of your BPM. It's cool that it also syncs to Google Fit. I am hurting physically, but there's no stopping me! 💪

Nice app. However lots of commercials and expensive to buy, or actually can't buy but expensive in-app purchases and to buy time limited license. Creators seems to think they have created something very valuable, however its just a simple little app with ONE useful function, to measure your pulse. It should be free and have a few commercials, in that case I would rate it 5/5

I downloaded this app because I was having a lot of trouble with my heart rate. It would race and then slow down so I wanted to monitor it and keep a record. The only problem I have is that sometimes my heart rate rises and drops too fast and for too long that the monitor can't read it. Great app if your HR doesn't fluctuate too much for it to read. Would highly recommend this app to anyone who needs to keep tabs on their heart rate.

Honestly, this is the one to choose. I have used two heart rate monitor apps that are okay but sometimes they scare with a reading way high when you are not doing anything. ChatGPT recommended this app and one of the others. So far this app is the most accurate one. It takes longer to read your finger and it needs you to be stable.

Android app forces signup to an account. Well, I've got enough things to sign up to, and I don't need another one with my email and a password for what is just a basic and simple function. So goodbye after using successfully for years on iOS prior.

2019-08-31: last version did fix Google Fit synchronisation but is there a way to sync older data? I have data logged in Instant Hear Rate App since 2012 that are not synced in Google Fit. If you fix it, I'll update my rating to 5/5. Thanks ---- I've been using this app for more than 2 years but I'm now switching to the Runstatic Heart Rate App because they allow you to remember all data and have an average.

The app works, save observation bias lol (all the inanimate object pulses?- vibrations etc. simulate "real" data; program doesn't know difference). Needs to be linked to its sister apps (stress level) and absolutely needs to have information to give context for results. Great use of simple tech, poor to average delivery of product.

I need to login to whaaaat?? F you! The app was useful without login. I don't need to contribute my personal data to your marketing database (users: that's why everything asks for login nowadays). And let's not look at the permissions this app need which are pretty invasive. Except for the camera, they don't need anything else. At all. Zero stars if I could. I was reading all your other reviews... It's amazing how the devs effed up! Everyone hates the new version! Such a bad taste.

Thanks to the app I found out that my bathroom cabinet has a pulse of 146 and my toilet seat is super healthy with the pulse of 75. This made me experiment a bit more with some objects that also have the puls like street trash bins but all in all I decided not to use the app as a reliable data source for my own health. I am not sure how the algorithm works and why it 'saw' pulse in all those objects so maybe my rating is totally unfair. In that case, let me know so I can edit.

First few measurements are free and accurate but pretty soon the app becomes unusable due to the constant intrusive ads and constant requests for you to subscribe.(£9.48 a month!). A quick look at the reviews will show that they are mainly 1 star ⭐ people who have used it for a few days and realised it's not free. Or 5 star by people who have only used it a couple of times and haven't yet activated the constant subscription requests.

Used to be simple to use and follow your stats. Since they've upgraded it buggers around trying to auto detect your finger and freezes if other apps are open. Before it measured when you tapped to tell it to start and that was quicker and easier... also hate the new stats arrangement. I liked the big long list view and being able to see the ones I had added a note to without having to click into each one to see if there was a note. Used to really like this but now I think it's rubbish

Two reasons NOT to get this: 1. I bought the full version years ago. That was supposed to be a one-off payment. Now I'm being asked to pay several pounds a month for what is supposed to be mine already. 2. It doesn't work. It doesn't work at all. It worked brilliantly on the first mobile I used it with, ok on the second, but is completely incapable of picking up a heartbeat on any of the mobiles I've had since, and I mean premium android phones from Samsung and Sony. Down from five stars to one.

Readings would change dramatically , takes to long to read and the pop up for the premium comes up so much that I hit the purchase button by mistake and ended up charging me the app. Cancel the subscription but the only option is for the end of the billing cycle. Trying to get a refund but only way to communicate is by email. No phone number to call. Emailed them and get an email response that the email address is not found.

This used to be my favorite app to read my heart rate on the go, now you not only need to sign up with an account but you have to PAY to continue to use the account. You get a 7 day free trail, then you pay about $10/month after that. Y'all really dropped the ball in this app, I'm sorry. I could handle signing up, whatever. Or even optional "premium membership", but you have to pay for a basic account? No thanks.

Ok it works but I bought a pro version years ago when they had 2 versions but then they got rid of the paid version, merged it, whittled away any benefits, put back intrusive ads, badgers you to set up a subscription and the app works more slowly. They certainly are trying to make this app worse and want to charge us another subscription. I need another subscription like I need another hole in my body. I don't. How and why I lost the paid version is beyond me.

More accurate than other camera based heart rate apps I've tried. A great feature is that it shows you the view through your camera lens so you can see if your finger placement is right. However, the ads in the free version are atrocious. You often get a full screen ad right after the measurement, with earsplittingly loud audio. Also connection to Google Fit doesn't work. The phone blocks the app saying it tried to access sensitive data in my Google account, though I granted all permissions.

This has been one of my favorite apps for years but I'm not creating an account (now required) just to take my pulse. One reviewer pointed out they got rid of the pulse animation that syncs up with your heartbeat. That was how I would check to make sure the app is accurate on a certain phone! I would verify that it's gone... But that would require creating a login.

So disappointed in the changes made to this app. I've used it for years now and it's been the best, until recently. Besides having to log in, the most recent update has made the app inaccurate and now takes ages to find a rhythm. The little heart icon that used to blink in sync with yours, which was convenient because it gave a visual to show accuracy, was helpful if you were checking your pulse along with the app is gone. The auto start is kind of annoying too. Cardiograph>Instant Heart Rate.

I've used this app for years. today it wants access to camera and video, notification, physical activity, billing, Bluetooth access, nearby device access, ad service something or other I mean it's wanting access to every thing on the phone. nada chance. you were very useful until your demands are more than the actual usefulness of the app. Bye.
