I've been doing instacart for about two years and never had any big issues. Today I logged out of my app and when I tried to log back in it never gave me the option. the screen where I put in my number doesn't come up. I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone for this help and the link I was sent to trouble shoot didn't help.

9 days now my check reported issues jas been saying warning on my network connectivity. The app won't let me send in screenshot to customer chat. They send emails requested the screenshot and now I'm not receiving emails. My notifications is jacked I'm not receiving any. And all I keep getting is the run around telling me my app is fine. When in fact it's not fine. This is crazy how I'm not receiving proper help for a app I've been working for 4.5 years now.

The app is not optimized for every compatible phone. Drains battery faster than having Bluetooth on for 3 hours. App constantly crashes and or freezes. Batches magically log you out forcing to to log back in to attempts to recover the batch, you might lose the batch forcing the shopper to abandon merchandise from the store. Constant GPS scanning when you are in a batch is stupid. Should only track pre-batch and at start of delivery to destination. (Not while you are shopping).

This app is good for the most part. It's annoying when I accept a batch and it takes too long to accept and then gives my batch to someone else though. The other thing that's been happening lately is that it's taking longer than it should after I've finished shopping and then it crashes. It has also crashed as I've been shopping. These are a few inconveniences, but the app is overall pretty good, and very informative.

Constant stalling with the app. It just freezes. When you're in the middle of an order, it will go to a green screen and then go black. When orders come through, you can see the order with the banner at the top, but they won't drop down in the feed. Stalls, no orders coming through, having to uninstall and reinstall to get orders. App is GOD AWFUL!!!!!

I love instacart. I've been on it for years now, and the app has improved a lot. Now the app still does have loading issues during the middle of orders, as well as checking out or getting addresses to people's homes to deliver. There are plenty of times where I've had to close the app out and restart it, or get on the stores WiFi for the order to sync. Not sure why this happens alot but I use the app at least 3/4 times a week and happens with every order. If fixed I could change my rating to a 5

App performance is truly absolute garbage &continues tracking after you go offline & close app. I do not want to see orders with delivery destinations further than 10 miles from my chosen service area. I was driving to get closer to the shopping area, hit a bump, double tapped & accepted a batch that I did NOT want that was 20 miles away! I drive an SUV, delivery rates & tips are NOT sufficient to cover any distance greater than 10miles because there is NO pay for the return drive to my area.

The bad: Tracks your phone and reports back constantly, and never really goes offline (even when permission is only "when using app"), leaving a powerful battery drain unless you force close it. The good: integrates well with maps, and typically organized pretty well for quick shopping (at certain stores). Could definitely do with some backend work, though. I'm having to call support several times a day due to sync issues, even where cell signal is strongest, and freezes and camera flips often.

It's productive and profitable if you know what you're doing, but the constant glitching is so damn aggravating. Sometimes my camera would act weird, it would send me an error when scanning an item, sometimes orders are duplicated, almost every other delivery in the past week resulted me having to contact Support just to have it marked as delivered, and the app would occasionally restart itself while shopping. The glitches seem to get worse when there's bad weather. Please fix this!!!

Buggiest thing ever created. I constantly have to restart the app to get it to work. Sends you to the middle of nowhere, but doesn't work without phone service. Doesn't recognize several items in stores as existing. Tells you you're going 10 miles for a delivery when you pick up an order, then your GPS tells you you're going 50 once you're done. I spent weeks getting to Platinum status, only for it to reset me to Gold, and they won't fix it. Awful customer service, too. Overall: Terrible app.

Absolutely drains battery and crashes usually once or twice in the middle of batches. Once the bugs are worked out, this app has potential. It is user-friendly and makes it easy to tell where 90% of items are located. Sometimes it'll just say "grocery" and that's the most annoying part cause I won't know where something's at. This app is usable enough.

This app STINKS! The app doesn't work if there's little to no WiFi in the area, the customer's instructions and requests are on a delay, it doesn't immediately register if an item has been replaced or refunded, and I've had to call customer service twice for orders that were registering, causing me to be extremely late in my deliveries! The pay just isn't worth the numerous mental breakdowns I've had because of this stupid, unhelpful, and poorly designed app! 😡

Since the update on May 22nd, I have experienced slow chat connectivity, batches that repeatedly show up and they have already been taken, or even better batches do not even come through. I checked the app and it is telling me network connectivity warning called IC, AT&T, and Samsung but apparently there is no issue. Edit: all troubleshooting tips have been followed more than once I have been a shopper since 2017 this is the first time it's been this bad

Every time a customer sends a message, the app gets stuck in a loop resending it over and over while spamming notification noises, locking up the app and then crashing. Card constantly declines despite being at the correct stage during checkout. Customer support in the app will straight up LIE to you about being compensated for this lost time, I have had to wait over 35 minutes for someone to force the card to accept as credit, told me I would get a bump, and was denied.

Updated: my issue was app showed white screen and couldn't get support for card declining on first day, and was disappointed, so gave 2 star. However the problem got fixed when I restarted my phone and re installed the app. And finally talked to the on app, and they were very helpful. The app freeze sometimes though, hopefully you will fix it. And I will change the rating as well.

The app has been good. Except for the last week when everyone seems to be experiencing a warning on their network connectivity when there isn't a problem. But it's causing issues for us and when we try to contact support we are told nothing is wrong repeatedly. I have uninstalled this app more this week than I ever have in the entire 3 years I've been doing this.

I have been enjoying my time with this app but I do have a gripe. Instacart needs to include miles necessary to travel to the destination store in their previews. I have never canceled an order until today when I received the order that I assumed was to a store just a few minutes down the road from me when it turned out to be a store that was 40 minutes away. $15 / Forty minutes before I even shop the store. I get 5-Star reviews! C'MON! I have to travel back home too. You can do better!

I like ic. The app works then it doesn't. As I am shopping it shuts down. Very frustrating. Considering we are on a timer for shopping. As of lately the GPS isn't bringing me to the correct location. Also, it's telling me my connectivity is a red warning . Customer service doesn't understand it. I've never had this before. I've uninstalled n reinstalled and it still says it. My phone carrier has done a system reset on my phone and it still says it. The only app I have an issue with is Instacart

This app is hit or miss.... This week it's definitely missing. Can someone in IT look into the network connectivity issue that tons of us are experiencing? I've uninstalled and reinstalled, contacted in app support (which is useless for issues like this), moved spots in the parking lot. I have excellent rating, and am diamond level. The reasons they are giving at support make no sense. This is my income!

Have been using the app for just barely over 2 weeks, and was loving it, but all of the sudden now my connectivity status is showing as Warning, and I've done every possible troubleshooting step available, but nothing is working, and I haven't seen a batch in 6 hours when I normally see them every 30 to 60 minutes, even in the middle of the night. Extremely frustrating
