Love using Inkpad and have been using for several years. However, not a fan of the new copy & paste feature similar to iPhone which is very difficult to use, especially if someone's fingers are too large to grab the circles on the end of the cursors. It toggles to wherever it likes and takes several if not many attempts to grab the text. Also, the choice box (copy/paste/select all) gets in the way when making the selection. Please revert back to the old copy & paste feature. It was much easier.

Inkpad is the best note-taking app ever! I've been using it for years, and I'm blown away by how easy it is to use. The way it's organized makes finding stuff super simple. Making new notes, sorting them into folders, and finding info is a breeze! The best part is that Inkpad is super reliable. I've never lost any data, and it never crashes. I feel confident keeping important info in the app because it's so dependable. I LOVE the new AI feature!!! It's better than any AI I've used.

I have been using this app for 6 years with no problem. Now all of a sudden, when I open it, a notice pops up that says "InkPad Notepad wants to access your Google Account". I am given the choice to allow or cancel. Selecting cancel closes the pop-up, but it returns in seconds, making the app unusable unless I allow it to have access which I don't want to do.

Through ten years and three phones, this is the one app that has never once failed me. I wasn't sure when I first got this app, but it's now my go-to for everything from jotting down ideas, shopping lists, brainstorming, and more. Well worth the money for the subscription to have the peace of mind that everything is synched, saved, and accessible.

The search feature is pointless. If you search a note, it may tell you the number of times something shows up, but it will not help you find/navigate to those results! They are highlighted in yellow... THE SAME COLOR AS THE NOTE ITSELF! Allow a setting to change to a color that doesn't blend into note! Selecting text is now a pain. You should allow notes to be "pinned" to the top of the list of notes to keep them from moving down the list just because they've not been edited recently.

I've used the app for close to 7 years now without any major issues. This would have been a 5 star review but I noticed something changed other than the name which if I remember was originally called Notepad. Now when I create a new note there's a problem with the app accepting my typed info. I am unable to see the text as I continue to type a note. It's almost as if the app is not detecting any new words. Very strange. I love this app and rely on it - hope I can resolve it.

I really like this app, but the folder feature doesn't work very well for me. When i **moved** a lot of notes to a new folder some notes **copied** into it and others didn't. When i try adding the ones that didn't even copy it just doesn't work. If i try deleting the notes outside of the folder (bc i don't need double copies) it deletes them from both in the folder and outside the folder. The ideas are great, but not working.

i used to love this app, but ever since they added AI to it, the quality and usability has greatly decreased- i can search for text in notes, but i can never find the highlighted text; i have to manually scroll around, which defeats the purpose of using the search bar. additionally, whenever i'm trying to edit a note, the app hides the text cursor, forcing me to poke around through the text rather than letting me scrub and move it to a specific spot. i'm incredibly disappointed.

Update: Used to be better before AI. Now, when you type someone, it forces you to make one of the three selections before you can enter anything else in your note. "Ask AI, Sellct all or Paste." It gets in the way of using the app. You can't simply type in your text and move on. Hopefully tech support will remove this. It's a hindrance.

Lost the most recent year's worth of data from old phone to new phone. Can't find the data on the browser version of the app either. Full sync doesn't help, Youtube videos are lacking and support is not helpful. If anyone knows of an app that will transfer all the data, please let me know in the comments. Thanks!

I would be lost without this app!! I've had to transfer my contacts apps and other information from a damaged phone to my replacement phone and I never really realized how important that this app was to me until it didn't transfer to the new phone and I thought that I had lost all of my notes! I panicked!! LOL I LOVE THE APP!! this note

Was great for years and years, now with this last update it is completely messed up. When I type certain characters they just, will not appear. Then sometimes a whole bunch of them pop up at once finally. Every time I scroll through a note it just randomly highlights something I didn't want it to highlight. This last update has screwed up this app. I have even been paying for this app for years, but these bugs need to get worked out b/c it's really frustrating or I'm finding a new app.

To start - I'm only moderately tech savvy and not with all apps. But truly I feel kind of wrong to complain given that it's FREE. While I like having an app with this concept, I'd love if if were easier to get to the changing of text colors, type, etc. Just more user friendly I suppose. In that vein it's good for what it is. I'm considering going premium as that may give me what I need. Perhaps this is all done by design?

I have had this app for 8 years and have had no problems whatsoever with it. I use it for shopping lists and to store bits of info that I need at to keep at my fingertips. I even used it to keep notes while listening to a packed-house speech when I couldn't get out pen and paper. It is simple and useful and never crashes or freezes. Edit 06/2024: wow, I've been using this app since 2015 Update: I had to take away a star because of the select tool. It's difficult to select text i want to copy or erase. I dont know why an app needs its own built-in select tool when the operating system/keyboard already has one that works better. I've lost a couple phones over the last couple years & kept losing notes with them. I hope I don't lose this phone, but Inkpad is def my pick with their free online backup

It would be great to pay one time just for unlimited syncs or just in general. Most of the features I don't need enough to justify a monthly payment indefinitely. I had an issue today with the app typing extremely slow to the point that all the words we're spelled wrong. I had to delete everything twice and redownload the app and now I have to wait until tomorrow to sync again. This is why I gave the app 3 stars but other than that, love using it.

Love this app! Been using since 2012. It's my instant go-to when any info I need to save, journal thoughts, etc. DEVELOPERS: I've suggested before - Pls add function to: Save & upload photos, To send photos from within the app, etc. Thank you! Please consider our photos. I'll be looking in future updates. UPDATE: Yay!! They listened & added use of photos & even much more! I have notes on this app from 2011. Code lock & syncs to computer- inkpad website. Sign in & there's all your notes😉
