Great work, fast and nice feature. Please add feature - correct lens distortion - save password in LAN Live - edit year during serach recording. Because sometimes, after loosing power, and missing internet conection, device date back to year 2000. Hard to find recording at that years.

Since the last update, the app and the cameras have become literally USELESS. It's impossible to watch your cameras live feed outside your home, and even connected to the same wifi it keeps getting offline or "streaming error". The recordings are unwatchable because of all the lagging and freezing. And to top it all, EVERY TIME you open the app now you have to wait for the ads to end harassing you to upgrade your subscription. I'm seriously thinking of throwing my 3 imou cams to the trash.

Daylight saving issue has been fixed besides that it's sort of ok. Thanks. Found other problems! Tool for WiFi signal not working. Can't remove weather app anymore. Shows 'Poor network signal' pop up on home screen when signal shows strong for each individual camera (go figure). Also that pops up every now and then is 'Unknown situation, please try again.' It takes three steps now to get into multiple views instead of one....etc, etc. This app is getting to busy compare to a few years ago.

I'm have installed two cameras infornt of my home main door, very good video quality Imou camera. Sometime it's missing capture in low light during night period (one camera capture movig humun another camera missing). I'm using Jio Fiber, in recent times I'm noticed every time when opened Imou app it's showing "poor connectivity please switch to lower resolution" even though my internet connection is in good speed.

Garbage. If you're installing this, I guess you've bought their cameras. If it's not too late, return them, this app is utter garbage, it looks nice and has some nice functions, but it's a 50/50 whether the functions operate as they should. It works when it feels like it. FULL of bugs that will eventually drive you crazy. A security camera that works when it wants to, is useless, and cannot be relied on to protect your property. App also send adverts to your notification drawer and rings phone.

At first it was an ok app + devices combo, now it became like any other pay to win mobile game let's say. Any major functionality for their cameras is hidden behind a wall of subscriptions (yes, not just 1 but more), besides that you get popups with offers and your live stream is stopped after each hour "for privacy reasons" and guess what? You can bypass that with subscription of course. Too bad because the cameras are good quality at a fair price. Cannot recommend

Everything was OK until I changed the wifi password. Now I'm not able to get back online for what seems to be arbitrary random reasons. First QR code failed numerous times. Then deleting the camera to add it again isn't working because of permissions. I've allowed ALL permissions but it is stuck in a loop of asking for permission even when permission is granted.

The app is nice however the sync with the cameras is not not always working well, my camera decides to not record movement when it is set to that and it is randomly, reset the cameras and was a nightmare to have them back online and with the paid plan assigned, while working as planned they are great with the app, troubleshooting is a nightmare...

On the initial setup I enabled the customized encryption with a password that contained special characters. After the last update I got logged out for some reason, and special characters are no longer accepted in the password input? How the hell I'm supposed to access the camera feed now without resetting everything lol, I'll update this review when you fix this broken mess of an app.

Too many glitches at log in. Constantly failing log in due to their CAPTCHA. Cameras can be frustrating as well. Even on lowest sensitivity it directs its attention to any blowing tree branch yet can somehow miss an actual human. Then the camera will stay directed at the tree and never return to where it's needed without me going back in and moving the camera back. But what's most frustrating at this point is not being able to log in. We pay monthly for this and we can't get into the app! FIX IT

The app is good, but the streaming quality is very choppy even at 480p outside my home network from another wifi network or ISP data. Streaming from the same network the camera is on has no issues. Please fix the remote streaming issue. Secondly, when the camera is in smart tracking mode, camera tends to view windy trees & not move, zone should be temporarily disabled when following a person so that it would not detect windy trees and leaves. The camera will quickly move back into set position.

I do love you cameras and app. They can see a far distance and you can zoom in. 1 thing though I wish it would do is have the option of permanent recording. On the app you can set the sensitivity level which is great. I have mine at a 5 so it records as soon as it picks up sound sounds or a car driving by. But to be able to record continuously would be extra awesome.

The cameras WERE PHENOMENAL. I've had cameras from 2 big security companies and these WERE better HANDS DOWN. They capture the ENTIRE event, not just motion when close to the camera. DOWNSIDE, this horrible upgrade to the GUI. The update has made things WORSE. The cameras are now almost unresponsive when manually trying to move them. These updates drops the initial rating from 3 to 1 star. If no improvements are made, we will look to change the cameras and move on to a different system.

Things are better now. Changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. Still has problem deleting videos but not every time. Recorded video starts playing but the video freezes after a few seconds. The wifi speed keeps changing and after a minute or so REPLAY displays. After selecting REPLAY the exact same thing happens. Now have to do everything twice. Wasn't broke before so why update it? How can we revert back to previous version?

Sometimes the camera works for awhile & it is a clear picture. Then...it all goes bad. Picture freezes constantly. Streaming error over & over. You have to constantly log in again & again. It usually does this when it's really important that you see something right then. It has been happening all the time now. I hate this damn app. It sucks!

Most times, the app will open properly. However, the video is choppy. Which makes it difficult to decipher any disagreement that may be recorded. And the audio is out-of sync when this happens. It is better than nothing but not exactly the quality I was expecting in an audio-visual panning system. Paired with a totally different video system is providing the security I need.

Camera quality is great at all lighting levels and the cameras/app come with nice features. The bad: 95% of the time the camera is not providing a live feed. It freezes and download rate sits at 0 Kb/s. You can't pan the camera because it freezes and retains your input as if you're holding the pan button so it spins until it can't spin anymore. Furthermore, it uploads video first to some internet server somewhere before being downloaded to your viewing device (phone). Will not work over LAN.

The camera is excellent , clear and it picks up every motion that it's supposed to. The reason for 2 stars is because when it picked up someone entering my room when I leave last night, no notification of this, so when and I check the feed this morning I can't watch and see what they were doing. It's just a picture of the person in there. It told me to upgrade to plus to watch the video, which I was already subscribed..so I have no idea what's missing. Or how to fix this problem!

Without paying for sevices (which I think is a rip off) it can only record 2 hours at a time to my PC. I by a camera and it's in my network yet I have to pay more to use it continuously. I shouldn't have to have my feed go online at all. I WILL figure out how to use it the way I think it should be OR be done with it and setup a different program. The App is good and Setting it up is easy. I use them for outside security linked to a PC. At least it lets us me record to my hard drive.

Does not send notifications for movement. Does not play back recorded clips while on WiFi. Yes, I know that doesn't make sense. I tried multiple known-good connections, and it will still only play videos over mobile data. Customer service did not respond to my attempts to contact for support. Absolute garbage software and non-existent customer service.
